Hotel location ok, but not very well signed. Appalling parking. Room allocated (Queen) ok but location appalling ( open curtains to look onto maintenance yard!) Very poor hot water in shower/bathroom. Towels appalling, very old and very hard. Wouldn’t clean my car with them. Restaurant food very good except no wine of any nature despite the menu offering a wide selection. So very poor management control. Swimming pool okay except some scum on surface of water and the mosaic tiles in and around pool needed cleaning  badly and missing and loose tiles needed replacing. Better house keeping needed.

Our stay at this hotel during our recent Siargao trip was truly a wonderful and memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, whose friendliness, professionalism, and attentiveness made us feel comfortable throughout our entire stay. The hotel itself is newly opened, and it shows in the excellent condition and cleanliness of the property. The rooms were exceptionally clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, providing a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere after long days of exploring the island. We also appreciated the quality amenities provided, which added to the overall comfort and convenience of our stay. One of the highlights of this hotel is its stunning location. The breathtaking sea view combined with the beautiful view of Cloud 9 created a peaceful and scenic environment that truly captured the charm of Siargao. The pool area was also very well-maintained and provided the perfect place to unwind and relax. The food served at the hotel was excellent, with delicious meals that we genuinely enjoyed throughout our stay. Every aspect of the experience reflected the hotel’s commitment to quality service and guest satisfaction. Another major advantage is the hotel’s location, as it is conveniently within walking distance to Cloud 9, making it very accessible for guests who want to explore one of Siargao’s most popular attractions. Overall, we had an exceptionally pleasant stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Siargao. It offers the perfect combination of comfort, cleanliness, beautiful scenery, excellent food, and outstanding hospitality. We would gladly stay here again on our next visit to the island.

Our family of four had an absolutely amazing time at Siargao Island Villas, and we can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the spacious and spotless rooms—perfect for a family with kids. The resort itself is huge and lush with greenery, which made the tropical heat much more bearable. The facilities were a highlight: a beautiful pool right next to the restaurant, plus ping pong, billiards, and a gym for some fun family competition. We also loved the free paddle boards, and the beachfront location was a dream—the water was incredibly calm (almost no waves!), so our kids could swim safely without worry. What truly set this stay apart was the owner’s generosity. We were lucky enough to be there during a party they hosted for all guests—it was overflowing with free food, drinks, music, and even a live DJ. Such a memorable night! We also made new friends among fellow travelers, which added to the warm, community vibe. The staff were consistently friendly and attentive, and the owners were genuinely kind and generous. My only regret? I had booked two different hotels in Siargao (just in case), but after experiencing this resort, I wish we had stayed here the entire time. Moving to another place felt like a downgrade! If you’re visiting Siargao, do yourself a favor—book Siargao Island Villas and stay as long as you can. You won’t regret it!

This hotel is, without question, home to the best views on the island. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted by panoramic ocean vistas that never get old, whether you're relaxing by the pool, enjoying a cocktail at sunset, or simply sitting on your private terrace taking it all in. One of the standout features is the guest-only pool, perfectly positioned beside the restaurant. The setting is spectacular, with uninterrupted views of the sea that make every meal feel special. The food is consistently good, the cocktails are expertly made, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the accommodation. With only eight rooms, the hotel feels intimate, exclusive, and wonderfully peaceful. Waking up each morning to the sight of the ocean directly in front of you and the soothing sound of waves crashing on the shore is an experience that's hard to put into words. It's the kind of place where you instantly slow down and appreciate your surroundings. The entire property is picturesque, tranquil, and incredibly well-positioned. For the quality of the experience, the stunning location, and the level of privacy it offers, it represents exceptional value for money. A true hidden gem and somewhere I would return to without hesitation.

I've stayed in countless hotels around the world, and while many have professional staff, the team at Almont City Hotel is exceptionally professional and incredibly friendly. Everyone, from the housekeeping to the reception and kitchen staff, was extremely professional and helpful. I'll definitely be coming back here; I truly felt like a family member during my stay. I chose this hostel based on YouTube recommendation. Location is perfect, very close to Cloud 9 and Jacking horse surf shop (where i took surfing classes). It's not very noisy area, quite secluded from nearby shops and hotels. Which is perfect. Carlos at the reception was very very helpful and friendly. I took all the recommendations on restaurants, shops, laundry places. You can also rent a bike from the hotel. Besides there is a good community, they organize pizza nights, outings together, which is super fun if u are travelling alone and want to make friends. People that stay in this hostel are mostly Europeans. I did not have issues with sleeping in a room, everyone was respectful and clean. Bed has a curtain for privacy, light, locker and quite enough space. Showers are clean and i was lucky with hot showers. Overall, very good experience and def would come back again.

It’s always fun in mad monkey!! A very social hostel good for solo travelers who wanna make or meet friends or find fellow travelers! Great location in General Luna and walking distance to cloud 9 surfing spot. Mad monkey has a double sized like and a very comfortable bunk beds omg that was amazing!! I love the vibe. Maintained and clean toilets and showers too! I’ll definitely come back🙌🏽🤙🏽🐵❤️

I had such a fun stay at Rucksack Hostel! The place was comfortable, the atmosphere was really welcoming, and it was easy to meet people from all over. I especially loved that there were different events every night—it made the whole experience so much more fun. Big shoutout to Bryson for being one of the kindest and most accommodating people there. He was always friendly, helpful, and made everyone feel welcome. Overall, I had a great time and would definitely stay here again if I’m back! Location is kinda ok and staff is very polite. Unfortunately place is nothing much and kinda overpriced for what it is. It was alright experience but wouldn’t come back
