"This hotel is ideally located, just a three-minute walk from a metro station and twenty minutes from the city center. The welcome we received was particularly outstanding: although we arrived early, we were able to check into our room two hours ahead of schedule, which is a rare and much-appreciated perk. The staff, especially the French-speaking receptionist on our first day, was very helpful in explaining how the public transport system works.
While the rooms might seem a bit small, they are perfectly adequate and represent the only minor drawback in an otherwise ideal stay in every respect."

"The hotel's location is pretty good, making it easy to get to all the attractions. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was a bit small, and the facilities were just average. It's a bit noisy since it's close to the road, but the public transport is quite convenient. Overall, it's just decent."

"It is quite satisfactory and does not reach the four-star standard. The biggest problem is that the sound insulation is not good, the street is a bit noisy at night, and the adjacent rooms are not soundproof.
The location is not far from the old town attractions, but sometimes the taxi can't stop at the door, and there are several souvenir shops downstairs.
The sanitary conditions are OK, the facilities are enough, and the room size is normal in Europe. The front desk registry is very narrow and the service attitude is average."

GGuest UserFrom start to finish Dom Carlos Park did not disappoint.
Helpful staff took our bag up stairs on arrival.
Storage was available until our room was ready, map was given when requested to help us find our bearings.
Room clean with fridge with selection of minibar which could be purchased, safe was also available.
Towels were large and fluffy. Bed comfortable, with lovely pillows, black out curtains to help sleep.
Room service used first night with excellent food .
Breakfast was excellent good range of food. It was occasional busy and we were asked to wait in the lounge area but again well looked after and as soon as space was available we were taken in to wait.
Hotel is in a good location, a gentle walk down the avenue liberdade everyday to where the action is, such as Rossio Station where we caught the train to Sintra.
Great hotel would stay again.
Cab from airport to hotel €24 , Uber to airport €7
AAnonymous UserThe room with bathroom inside the room with balcony.
No curtains on the beds, the light can bother, no privacy.
There is elevator, no problems with luggage.
There is a kitchen, but is closed in the night time.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
TTomazzI recently stayed at Hotel Lumen and had a really great experience. The service was outstanding – the staff were friendly, helpful and always ready to assist with a smile. The rooms are delightfully spacious and modern, much larger than what you usually find, with comfortable king size bed.
The bar deserves a special mention:
they serve excellent drinks and cocktails, perfect for unwinding in the evening at also to see the lightshow from or going out to the patio
Location-wise, it's very convenient depending on your plans – close to metro and within easy reach of both the city center and other areas.
Overall, highly recommended for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!
GGuest UserThe front desk and restaurant staff were very welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast offered a decent variety. However, the sink in the bathroom drained very slowly and was never fixed during my stay. The hotel is also a bit far from the old town, costing about 11 euros by Uber.
GGuest UserThe room is spacious. Clean and has good amenities. It smelled bad inside the elevator all the time. The lobby isn't very present with dirty floors. Breakfast was average. The location was good for me, but a few metro stops away from the touristy spots. But it's a safe location w plenty of other hotel chains, office buildings and restaurants.
SSamya16I booked this hotel cause it a close location to many things around in Lisbon. While it is not a fancy hotel, it serves well for solo travellers and families. The room was very spacious and the AC worked well. The cleaning service came every day and left the room clean and fresh. Breakfast was included with our stay, and it was a usual hotel breakfast. You could pick from hot items such as scrambled eggs and meat products like beans and sausage or bacon. On one day they also had mushrooms. Then of course the bread variety and some pastry items such as croissant and muffins. Cheeses, yoghurt and fruits as well cereals were available. Eating breakfast at 10 AM usually filled us up for the day and we hardly ate lunch outside. The staff was friendly and when we requested an iron they provided that with no problem. The room had a small safe for valuables when we left for the day and plenty of storage space for the clothes and suit cases. The bathroom was very nice as well, lots of counter space and even a clothing line across the tub to hang some items to dry if you had to was a shirt or socks. The hotel is located across small soccer practice field so from our balcony we could watch people play some soccer games. Be advised the hotel is very close to the airport (about 10 min) so there was noise from planes but hardly noticeable. During our stay, 2 of the main elevators broke and were not usable but luckily we were on the second floor so taking the stairs was easy but they do have other elevators available. And for anyone not looking to leave the hotel for lunch or dinner, they provide plenty of dishes in their restaurant and bar area. But just a few steps around that area, you will find great places to eat such a Turkish restaurant with a 10 page menu I highly recommend to try.
EElliottFantastic location with fantastic staff. The staff was very helpful with directions and helping me find whatever I needed whether it was sightseeing advice or late evening travel supplies like soda water. They went above and beyond.
GGuest UserWe had a pleasant stay at Masa Hotel spa combo grande collection .The breakfast was really nice and great way to start your day, and the amenities were excellent — guests can use the spa, gym, sauna, and bath facilities, which made the stay more enjoyable. Although the location is a bit far from some of the main attractions, it is still reasonably convenient since they can be easily reached by metro.
Cleaning was generally okay, but the shower drain in our room was not working very well, which was a bit inconvenient.
GGuest UserThe hotel is very close to the station, which makes getting around super convenient. The stairwell was clean and quite charming. The service was warm and welcoming, which made for a great experience. Breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety. My only minor complaint is that breakfast started a bit too late, making us a little behind schedule for our outing.
GGuest Userdidn't like:
1) bathroom sharing was not clearly stated in the listing , nor the reservation.
2) the gents bathroom was too small
3) the ceiling above washbasin in gents bathroom was too low.
4) room door did not close and thus had to be locked every time
