The hotel is cheap and clean. Every time I go there, I get a glass of wine from the downstairs restaurant. You can see the sea from the room. The food in the restaurant is cheap and delicious, but you have to book in advance. The room is full every weekend. There are free drinks, milk and biscuits in the room.
No power for majority of our stay. This mean no air conditioning, no lifts to assist with luggage, no tv, hot water, working fridge or cooking facilities, no spa, limited gym, very dark passage ways and no lighting in car park and some stair wells. The onsite cafe was closed and even the pedal karts the kids wanted to use were all broken and not able to use.
Staff considering the issues were lovely and the resort itself was how we hoped, but needed up wasting our time and money for this stay. No offer of compensation or refund. Very disappointed.
The location is good but other than that I would not call it a pleasant stay. Rooms and bathrooms are pretty dirty. They clean regularly but apparently not thoroughly. Power on my bunk did not work. The room has a 'temporary' AC which has collected dust like it has been there for a while already and it is unbearably loud. The exhaust air of this is routed to a closed window, therefore all the air stays in the room. Luckily I figured that out and opened the window the 2nd night but the AC still was loud.
For $80 a night I do expect more.
We arrived late but we managed to pick up the keys. Thank you so much.
The toilet in the room is very cold during the June period. The heater in the room doesn't cover that space. The water could also be a little warmer during winter. We had turned the tap to the max and found the water lukewarm.
I have 2 issues one is the check in and check out time 10 am check out is too early if check in is after 2pm . I wanted to purchase breakfast add on but was told not possible at food checkout even though they had terminal, had to go to reception to do , however reception said they could do at breakfast bar which I just came from !
Second at reception I informed them that my room would not be vacant rd until breakfast was consumed at 10.30 , no problems but upon returning to room it had been serviced at some of my belongings removed!! What the !!
At 10.25am my ro
We booked a two-bedroom suite, which was actually two separate rooms connected, and having two bathrooms was a definite plus. The location is right in the town center, making it super convenient for dining and shopping. There's an underground parking lot, but the entrance is a bit tricky to find; you'll need to slow down and look carefully as you approach. Check-in was handled by a handsome Chinese guy, which was a nice touch 😋. On the downside, the living room floor was a bit slippery, the lighting in the room was a bit dim, and the bathroom was a little cold at night. The picture is of a nearby burger joint, which was quite good!
The facilities are basic, but it's relatively tidy and clean, typical of a standard motel. The reception closes quite early, so if you're arriving late, remember your key will be under the doormat. I managed to capture the Gemini constellation with my phone on the beach around 10 pm, which was very satisfying. The acai bowl at the nearby Rawr Bar cafe was delicious. Sitting outside on a sunny morning, slowly enjoying breakfast and coffee, then strolling on the large beachfront lawn before driving off to find koalas – it was perfect.
Our room was on the second floor with a king-sized bed. The sofa bed needed to be made up by ourselves, and there was no duvet, only one blanket provided, with another blanket in the closet, which was generally sufficient. There was parking available in the yard. For the second-floor room, luggage had to be carried up an outdoor staircase. My friend stayed in a first-floor room with a queen-sized bed and a 0.9m bed. Their balcony opened directly onto the roadside, which felt a bit unsafe. A common characteristic of motels along the Great Ocean Road is the lack of curtains, with roller blinds used instead, which aren't great for blocking out light. Our room had an induction cooker and pots, but my friend's room didn't. At nearly 1500, it was also the most expensive accommodation on our Great Ocean Road trip.
I had the chance to experience the Australian hot springs. While there's no discount for hotel guests, the location is absolutely superb. We spent our days on the Great Ocean Road and evenings soaking in the hot springs, which was a fantastic combination. The hotel has two car parks; just be sure to avoid the residents' parking spaces on the apartment side.
super lovely staff, let me check in abit earlier and plenty of space in the room with comfy bed :) right near tramline and 15ish min walk to palais theatre where i had a concert so super convenient! no elevator incase you have big luggage but it was fine for me and super cool artwork around the place. thanks!

GGabrielOverall clean and up to standard. Particularly convenient was the check-in and check out procedure, as the key was just left on the dining table. Parking was also convenient, as our car was at our doorstep.
The room also had a kettle and a large fridge, while the smart TV also had Netflix and YouTube, with high quality sound.
Overall a pleasant stay!

GGuest UserSuper new clean modern town a little New Zealand feels quiet and few people clean the grass especially green This town house is made of new materials houses including hotels are new hotels Except there are no fitness and entertainment facilities others are good breakfast special quality ingredients are particularly good hotels have There are two or three bars that are very warm and very special. They are a bit like furniture stores. There is a small yard. It is very comfortable to go out. You can see the Gulf Pier National Park at the end of the right. The golf course flinders is my favorite town on the entire peninsula. The new plan for the quiet house is also good. I heard that the price is high. If it is worth staying in the national park, the bad thing is to check out the10: 30
GGuest UserThis was my first time staying at a motel, so I didn't have high expectations. However, it turned out to be like a standalone, single-story villa with two bedrooms and a living room. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the hygiene was excellent. Plus, the beach was just across the road. The motel owners, an elderly couple, were incredibly friendly and even gave us a small gift when we checked in. Overall, a very satisfying beachfront motel stay.
TTHEAN JUEN LOWeasy check in. good communication on how to collect room keys. room is spacious & comfortable. Good location. walking distance to most eatery.
GGuest UserI can only say that it is livable. The facilities are relatively old. It rained all night and the iron roof was very noisy. The surrounding environment is OK. There is a sea view next to the trail. You can fly a drone. Just register with OpenSky. The customer service is OK. You can call and tell us if you arrive late at night. Parking is also convenient.
GGuest UserThe room was very clean, and the location was excellent. The only thing is that the local businesses open at 10 AM and close at 6 PM, so if you arrive outside of those hours, you'll need to call yourself to check in.

GGuest UserAll staff are nice but the room needs a major upgrade.
We stayed at room 110B.
Can hear next door speaking very clearly at night.
Noisy air conditioning , creaking noise from the air cond all night, some Light switch buttons broken, the exhaust fan doesn’t work properly , the mattress is probably needs to replace soon.
Breakfast not much choices but it’s ok.
