Beach Hotels in Taiwan, China

I've been here many times, always choosing to come during the off-season before Chinese New Year. Both breakfast and dinner are great, and the hotel rooms have been renovated. It's a shame the macaw from before is gone. The beautiful scenery of Xiaowan Beach remains as stunning as ever.

The location was perfect, right in front of Nanwan Beach and the bus stop. It's a great location for a leisurely stroll by the sea, but if you're looking to get to and from Hengchun, which has plenty to see, eat, and do, and you need to take a bus, I recommend renting a motorbike. You absolutely must try the breakfast!!!!!!! It's absolutely delicious!!!!!! The porridge, noodles, and banh mi are all delicious!!!! Definitely try the breakfast. I'll definitely be back for more. The hotel is cute and pretty, and the cats in the alley in front were adorable. Anyway, definitely try the breakfast.

I recently visited Kenting with a group of friends and stayed at Haidi 112, which has four rooms: one ocean-view twin room, one quadruple room, and two twin rooms. Each room has a balcony; the balconies in the quadruple room and the ocean-view room are larger, offering excellent ocean views. The balconies in the other two rooms are smaller but sufficient for drying clothes. The location is right by the sea, the rooms have great views, and the stay is comfortable. The rooms are clean and spacious. The ocean-view twin room has the best view, the quadruple room is suitable for larger groups, and the twin rooms are simple and practical. Soundproofing is quite good; we didn't disturb each other. The hotel has an elevator, which is convenient for groups with luggage. Breakfast is served at a branch restaurant; it's a simple Western breakfast with eggs, sausages, salad, and bread. The only minor issue was that the Wi-Fi in one room was unavailable, while the other three rooms had no problem. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would recommend it for group trips!

Guy at the desk gave us food, beers, advice, he was awesome.  Rooms were clean, location EXCELLENT.

The front desk staff were really enthusiastic and helpful. My room had a great view, with the ocean on one side and mountains on the other. Just a heads-up, there are two buildings, and I went to the wrong one to check in initially – the other building has self-check-in. The hotel is also conveniently close to the Dolphin and Whale Watch Centre, which was perfect for my whale watching tour the next day. A special mention for the hotel restaurant: the food was fresh and delicious, and guests get a 20% discount, which is a nice perk!

The location is incredibly convenient, and the hotel facilities are excellent. A night market is right next door, which is a fantastic bonus. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, making it a great spot for both couples and families. I will definitely be returning. The staff were also incredibly polite.

1. Location It wasn't as crowded as Kenting Night Market or as chaotic as Nanwan Beach, yet the scenery was absolutely stunning. It was also incredibly convenient for getting to attractions both north and south, and to Hengchun by car. And since we went by rental car, parking was really important, and the fact that it's at the entrance of an alley and parking was easy was a huge plus. 2. Pros The ocean right in front is truly picturesque and breathtaking. I think that alone is the biggest advantage! On the first floor, you can freely enjoy water, coffee, and milk tea. They even provide bottled water, which is even better, and they replenished a wide and generous variety of snacks and instant noodles daily. One of my companions caught a cold, and it was great to have hot water available on the first floor! 3. The Best Owners The husband and wife who run this place are so incredibly kind; it truly felt like home and like a real getaway! If I go back, I'd definitely want to stay here again! Thank you so much once more!

There weren't enough hanging facilities for clothes, especially in the bathroom, making it a bit inconvenient to put clothes down. For a 4-day, 3-night stay, it would have been even better if the room had a balcony and bathtub to enjoy the sunshine… Due to the strong winds and rapid currents at the beach in front, swimming in the sea was not possible! The hotel is very close to Kenting Main Street, less than a 5-minute walk. The street stalls on both sides are open from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM every evening, making it very lively; some liquor stalls stay open even longer.

The hostel is in a very central location of Kengting, Bus Station is easily reachable within 10 min. They also provide many activities that you can book through them with reasonable prices.

Received email from hotel staff (Juan) that they could arrange pick-up service for us if we are arriving via Hualien Train Station. They provide free transfer back to Hualien train station as well after check-out. Grateful for the shuttle service otherwise I would need to take a taxi. By going the extra mile, they offered to send my mom and myself to the bus stop nearby for going to xincheng old street. Every staff member is friendly and very helpful. Seaview room is excellent and we enjoyed the sound of the waves from our bed! Room is clean and brightly illuminated. Breakfast variety is good. They have bicycle for hotel guests too! There’s a convenience store (Family Mart) nearby, few restaurants too, but closed on Tuesday mostly. Overall I had a great stay and will definitely return if I come to Hualien again.
