Clare Country Club is a good option to stay at in Clare Valley even if you are not a golfer. It is a short drive from the heart of Clare town which has several good dining options such as The Bentleys Hotel which has a decent pub, dine-in restaurant and a bottle shop. The Antidote restaurant in Clare is a popular choice serving fusion cuisine. The wineries and cellar doors of Clare Valley are all within close proximity. Rooms look out onto lawns and have outdoor tables and chairs to enjoy your morning coffee. The hotel does not serve dinner on Sundays. A small bottle of wine, chocolates and crisps are provided complimentary. Parking is free and close to the rooms which makes it easy to load/unload luggage.

We got a very spacious room! Simple interior design, but very comfortable and sufficient. The structure of the shower was not the best as the water flooded outside the shower booth. Some corners in the room were dusty. Otherwise, good accom option.

The Weintal is a clean, neat and tidy hotel that delivers what it promises. The location was convenient and central to the wineries and local attractions. The staff in the bar, restaurant and kitchen were outstanding! Such gracious and hospitable hosts that enhanced our overall impression of the venue. There was a stale water smell in the room but nothing terribly unbearable. I’d definitely recommend The Weintal and look forward to returning in the future.

We love the location! It is so close to the bay. We can easily walk to shops, restaurants, playgrounds, and the jetty. We definitely enjoyed the breakfast and will come back in spring.

The hotel is very dated and my shower floor leaked into the bedroom and made the room smell damp  This let to me having to run a fan all the time to stop the room smelling  Tuti the cleaning lady was very good and always made a refreshing change  They were down to one  elevator so it was getting to be a pain to use  No bar for the night time and no hot food for breakfast this lead to eating out everyday  Parking was good and worked well  Case storage is available if you ask the right person I was at first told no but when checking out given the opportunity to do this  Hotel is right on the train station  and can be easy access for trips away  Summing up my stay it worked ok bit dated and a leaking shower ment I went out every day and never stayed in  The tv was also not very good channels never worked and stopped and started all the time

The hotel is very beautiful, same as the room. However, we run into a few issues. The air conditioning of room 11 is extremely loud. We had to turn it off in order to sleep. Secondly, there is zero hanger in the room. Thirdly and most importantly, there is no staff on site at all. Only a number to call. We needed help at one point and dialed the number, but it didn’t work. We added 0, 08 in the front, and also the number itself. Nothing worked. If these issues were resolved, the hotel would have been perfect.

The resort is great, with a limited number of rooms but a quiet environment. Check-in was quick. We even saw a giraffe in our room! The space is very open, and the breakfast is plentiful. Definitely worth experiencing.

I highly recommend Ibis! I arrived at the hotel around 10:30 AM on my check-in day, as my friend was taking me to a local attraction and I just wanted to drop off my luggage. I casually asked if there were any available rooms, and to my surprise, the young man at the front desk checked and found one, then efficiently arranged for me to check in. It was such a pleasant surprise! The staff were principled, efficient, and genuinely warm. :) The hotel's central location is fantastic – you can get everywhere easily. Housekeeping is on demand; just hang the 'clean' sign outside if you'd like your room serviced, which is also very ESG-friendly. The shower was incredibly comfortable, and breakfast was decent, though a little more variety would be a nice touch.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is generally nice And the staff members are super friendly. Facility-wise, it is a bit out-dated, but you can see this staff is trying the best to keep it clean. They also have an interesting buffet offering for 20 dollars, i haven't tried it out, but i heard it quite nice.

GGuest UserThe hotel itself was fantastic—clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly and professional. I really enjoyed my stay inside the property. However, the surrounding area was quite noisy on the weekend nights. There were many drunk people around, shouting and making a lot of noise, which affected the overall experience, especially when trying to rest. If you’re planning to stay here, I’d recommend requesting a quieter room or being prepared for some weekend nightlife noise.

GGuest UserNo car park attached to hotel, have to drive to car park yourself or pay $55 for a chauffeur to drive it. Room service menu was fancy stuff from the downstairs restaurant. Nothing simple. Not even room service breakfast available. On the note of the restaurant downstairs this is where the “buffet” breakfast was and I use that term loosely. Shocking variety. Even have to do our own coffees right in a tiny corner of the the room. One coffee at a time while the line gets bigger. We have to get a special order for eggs because the scrambled eggs are just mush. At least the toaster worked. And the space fits maybe 20 which is fine for a B&B but not for a 16 floor hotel. We had to have breakfast at 8 to avoid the crowds waiting at 9 and later. In the room itself (we had a suite), there were light switches EVERYWHERE. And they were all so confusing as you couldn’t see what they said. Then the one in the bathroom you had to walk in and close the door to access it. No fan ventilation for showers. Bath mats being so thin gets immediately soaked after one shower. No face washers. Bench was too low for a bathroom. Hand towels way too low. The size of the bathroom was nice though and the shower pressure was good. TV remote didn’t work properly, could not find all amenities like coffee, tea, fridge even etc. No nice hotel guide folder to help us out. The “desk” was the tv cabinet when there was plenty of space in the lounge area to have a desk. Then we had a balcony with no chairs or table to sit at (can easily have some out there and bolt them down for safety). The temperature stuff don’t even get me started. Uncomfy beds and flat pillows. I ended up sleeping on the lounger as it was more comfortable. I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon. Wasn’t horrible but wasn’t great. The staff were nice though which was a nice change

GGuest UserIt was a lovely 2-night stay in the Oceanview Twin Room. We were offered an upgrade for just $20 a day to enjoy a balcony, definitely worth it! Loved the location, so close to shops with plenty of food and drink options. The kids and I also had a great time relaxing in the heated pool and spa, even in the cold weather. .

GGuest UserThis is a great location and i enjoyed my stay albeit a couple of niggles. The shape of the room meant the TV was so far away from the bed. It seemed positioned perfectly to watch TV from the bath, but id rather have a comfortable viewing from the bed. It also meant two of us squeezed on to one side of the b Bed to be able to see the TV. The mattress was also uncomfortable and clearly needs replacing. It sloped one side and had a big bump in the centre. Overall a good hotel but I wouldn't stay in that specific room again.

GGuest UserHighly recommend this apartment! The room was clean and tidy with good natural light and ventilation. The facilities were well-maintained and convenient to use. It's easy to find, and the surrounding area is quiet, not noisy. The attention to detail was excellent. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area.

VVentraseeThe best thing thing about this hotel is that it is located in the heart town. It is a walking distance from the Rundle Mall and Adelaide Convention Centre. It also has great spa and decent size pool; breakfast buffet and bar with happy hour daily. I highly recommend this place!.

NNLK90Stayed here over Christmas. Room had a kitchen - dishwasher, oven + microwave + washer dryer + balcony over looking convention centre. Lovely stay, comfy bed, quiet'ish - the toilet sounds like a water pump everytime it fills up. Bathroom/shower is a little dated but functional. Parking is 30$ per day (reasonably priced - unlimited entry during the stay) Overall a great stay!! Will definitely comeback!!!
