The hotel is about a 35-minute taxi ride from Taoxian Airport, which is quite fast. It's next to Hang Lung Plaza on Youth Street, and People's Square Metro Line 2 is nearby. Xita Food Street and the Palace Museum are both within 5 kilometers by taxi. The doormen provide excellent service, actively helping with luggage and escorting us to our rooms. They even open the car doors for us every time we take a taxi – thumbs up! The elevators to the 88th-floor lobby are very fast. After reading reviews, I requested a non-smoking room, and the hotel patiently helped me check each room for smoke odor, which was a very good service – thumbs up to the front desk staff! We requested a twin room, and both beds were large and soft, which the kids loved. Noticing we drank a lot of water, the housekeeping auntie proactively provided extra bottled water and tea bags the next day without us even asking. Very thoughtful. I must praise the hotel's breakfast buffet! The beef noodles were so delicious; I ate them all three days of my stay. The Hongcheng pies were also super tasty 😋. Just writing this review brings back the delicious memories. Special thanks again to Elena and Clara for their service. Because of their and other hotel staff's service, we want to stay at Conrad again! A wonderful memory, and I hope the hotel continues to thrive!

We had to scramble to Jinzhou due to medical emergency from overseas. We happened to book this hotel in a great hurry and it was truly the only thing that helped us preserve our sanity at a very fraught time. It was also our first time using trip.com as I could not find much options in Jinzhou on ***********, my long time app of choice. I was worried about how things would turn out since I didn't know if I could trust trip.com or fully research my options as we had to rush to pack as well. As it turned out, I'm 100% sure that no other hotel in 4th tier Jinzhou city could have given us the experience, comfort and ambience that Manxin Hotel did. I don't say that lightly as a seasoned international traveller who's stayed at many types of hotels/guesthouses/motels over the years, it takes *a lot* to impress us enough to earn my praise and endorsement in a review. Manxin Hotel felt like a small boutique hotel feel with 3 floors of rooms. It was only opened in Jan 2024, so it really feels nice and new with a high ceiling foyer /lounge area. The rooms are huge with huge floor to ceiling windows. Although it's next to a train station, the triple glazed windows amazingly cut out most of the noise. The beds were very comfortable, with great toiletries, great Laifun hairdryer and free drinks replenished daily. Even the tea bags they provided were of great quality. We stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks so we were very happy to be able to use the complimentary washing machine service which saved me the hassle of having to hand wash my clothes daily in my room! There were some drainage issues in the shower but the hotel staff did try to sort out the problem. There's also a spacious gym available for those who are fitness fanatics. The hotel breakfast had great variety with quality coffee (not easy to find good coffee in China). They even had a singer in the foyer 3 nights a week. Though I usually love listening to live music, the singers were students who were not quite able to deliver a performance befitting the old world charm and ambience of the hotel foyer. Any hotel can have the best of facilities but often fall short on the service front. Since we were staying there for 2 weeks, we often had to deal with the hotel staff on a daily basis. We found them to be very competent, sincere, friendly, understanding and helpful for the most part, willing to do all that they could to assist us during our time of considerable distress and strain due to our family emergency. Even the housekeeping staff and the lady clearing plates in the breakfast area were warm and helpful! As foreigners , we would sometimes need help with paperwork, scanning, photocopying, and other assistantance communicating with the outside world to make arrangements for international medical evacuation, WeChat/Alipay tutorials etc. We will always be grateful to the staff for all their efforts to assist in our time of need. In particular, we would like to thank Sales manager XY Yang and duty manager Hong for their tireless assistance and consideration. If we were to go to Jinzhou again, Manxin hotel would absolutely be our only choice.

To my friends visiting Shenyang, listen to me: just stay at this hotel, you won't regret it. The front desk service is excellent; they patiently help you with any issues. The laundry and gym on the second floor are free. If you're coming with kids, they even provide children's toothbrushes and slippers. There's a 24-hour convenience store right next door, so if you get hungry at night, it's just a few steps away. Upon check-in, they give you a little card with a comprehensive list of delicious food and fun places. Parking is free, and there are plenty of spaces. The room is spotlessly clean, making for a comfortable stay. The value for money is truly high. Plus, there's a slide and Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) on the second floor; wearing the Hanfu was a lot of fun. I'll definitely book here again next time.

First, the pros: The location is excellent, right in Donggang, next to Venice. You can walk to several popular spots nearby, feed seagulls, and it's very convenient to call a taxi. The concierge staff at the entrance were all fantastic, helping with car doors, closing them, and handling luggage. The front desk staff who checked me in also gave a detailed heads-up about the hot water usage. They even sent a birthday cake, which was a lovely gesture, but unfortunately, I came back too late that night and couldn't eat it. Room service for deliveries was also available. Now, for the cons: It's definitely not a traditional five-star hotel as there's no pool or bathtub. And honestly, the water heater really needs an upgrade. When four people took turns showering in the evening, we had to wait at least an hour or more between each person.

Facilities: The hotel is a bit old, with a distinct vintage feel, but it's not run-down. Overall, it's pretty decent. However, for those who frequently stay in hotels, there might be a slight issue, as standard rooms don't have floor-to-ceiling windows. On the positive side, the bedding is quite new. Considering it opened in 2008, it's understandable. The executive lounge, though, offers an absolutely stunning view, overlooking the entire harbor. Hygiene: Most areas were very clean, and there were no odors or stains on the pillows, duvets, or mattresses. However, there was some white residue in the bathtub, which the hotel didn't clean thoroughly. Service: The service was very good, with quick response times. The check-in experience was also pleasant, with staff helping to carry luggage to the room, which was excellent! Environment: The environment is also good, and it's close to the subway station. Turn right out of the hotel, and you'll find Zhongshan Square, a nice spot to take friends or kids to see pigeons. Summary: If you don't mind its age, it's a good hotel. The hygiene is mostly fine, the facilities are functional, and the service is excellent. The breakfast is also quite distinctive, offering Dalian specialties like xiaolongbao, jianbing guozi, menzi, and sea cucumber rice. A few suggestions: the executive lounge's access control isn't very strict; they should have someone specifically guarding the entrance to prevent those without executive privileges from entering. Also, the curtains don't fully cover the windows, leaving gaps on both sides. And there should definitely be tissues on the bedside table, not just in the bathroom, as it's inconvenient. Side note: This hotel left a particularly deep impression on me because the room assigned to me upon check-in was a pleasant surprise. The hotel opened in 2008, and coincidentally, I was given room number 2008. It was a really great stay experience!

I went there expecting a top-notch bathing experience, but I was sorely disappointed. First, let's talk about the room. I booked the last available tatami room. It was spacious enough, with an indoor hot tub, but no window. The ventilation system made a lot of noise when turned on, and even with the air conditioning set to the lowest, it still felt stuffy. The room included two hot spring tickets, valid until 6 PM the next day if you checked out before 10 AM. Breakfast was at the Breeze Restaurant in the villa area, priced at 119 yuan per person, and the quality was very poor. It opened at 7 AM, and when I arrived shortly after, they were still slowly putting out food. There weren't many options, but the most memorable was the bacon – just a few burnt-looking pieces on the plate, I couldn't tell if they were leftovers or just overcooked. If breakfast is included in the room rate, you might as well grab a quick bite, but otherwise, it's definitely not worth the price. The hot springs were very basic – no food, no drinks, and no fruit (I'd seen reviews mentioning occasional fruit, but I didn't see any). A bottle of plain water cost 8 yuan. I went on the afternoon of check-in, around 5 PM, and it was quite crowded. The next morning, it was even more so. In short, I won't be going back.

I had accidentally booked the wrong dates, and Vince, the manager at the front desk, went above and beyond by actively communicating with Ctrip (travel agency) to prevent me from losing a day's worth of fees. My sincere thanks to him! I stayed for two days, and it truly felt like a five-star experience in terms of facilities and service. From the bathroom fixtures to the room decor, everything was made with high-quality materials from its time. This old hotel has its own unique charm, and it's rare to see such consistent and diligent maintenance – something they've definitely achieved here. The breakfast offered a great selection of both Chinese and Western dishes, and the restaurant was bright and spacious. I even took some pictures to remember it by. The hotel is close to Taiyuan Street, so there's an endless variety of local specialty foods to try. However, Taiyuan Street itself has lost a lot of its former glory compared to how it used to be.

The room is spacious and well-designed. The ground-floor room comes with a lovely private courtyard where you can sit or lie down, facing the sea which is just 100 meters away – truly a perfect 'staring-at-the-sea' room. You can even walk directly from your courtyard in your bikini to go beachcombing or swimming. There are plenty of complimentary snacks in the room. All in all, I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit.

Highly recommended! Very comfortable for family trips with children. The location is excellent, right next to Exit 4 through the back door. In the evenings, there's live music indoors and a band outdoors. You can enjoy the lively atmosphere from the balcony, and it's vibrant but not noisy. The in-room amenities are quite thoughtful. The tissue brand offers great value for money – soft and dust-free. The air freshener has a pleasant, non-irritating scent, showing careful consideration in procurement. Overall, there are no significant downsides, except for the foot pedal on the bathroom trash can, which is a bit stiff. Upgrading to a better model would be ideal, but it didn't really impact our stay. Additionally, the front desk staff, both men and women, were very diligent and responsible, especially Chow Pak Ho. Since we arrived early in the morning, he promptly arranged our check-in and upgraded our room as soon as a vacant one became available. We are very grateful. Our child had a wonderful time and gained a lot. We plan to come back next summer with friends and their family. We hope the standards are maintained and even improved upon!
