Hotels With Breakfast in Syddanmark, Denmark

When choosing a budget hotel there are not a lot of expectations so this was a very pleasant surprise. The room is small, but has what is needed. If wanting more space there’s a great area down in the reception to sit at to talk, read, work or just relax. Comfortable bed, unexpectedly good pillows and high quality duvets. How is it possible at such a low price hotel? There was even a water boiler, tea and sugar in the room. The surprises didn’t stop there. The breakfast was amazing for what it was. To call it basic is too little and it was way better with a much wider selection than expected. Was not missing anything. Left the hotel with the thought ”why would I stay anywhere else if this hotel is available”. No doubt a 5/5.

This is one of those places you just don't want to leave. The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Our room not only had a large bed but also a fold-down wall bunk bed, easily accommodating our family of four. It was spotless and very tidy, and the bedding was super comfortable. Dining options are plentiful nearby, but if you want to shop, you'll need to head to the city center. There's no public transport, but it's a pleasant 20-minute walk. I hope to stay here again in the future.

We met the friendliest staff from the get go at this place.(especially the nice receptionist that works day shift). The rooms are neat, nicely decorated (with a touch of elegance and home confy) very comfortable lines and bed (we slept so good the whole night in our 2 night stay). We appreciated that a electric fan was provided in the room (very thoughtful, we take this a sign that these people think about the comfort of the guests). They have sufficient lounge areas that had playrooms and a common kitchen a Fridge. Breakfast was also a pleasant experience, not too overwhelming with the selctions (nut enough). They provided all types of milk (for eks soy, oatmeal etc). The location was good, you are at the city senter with some selections of restaurants nearby, (close to lego house) and a convenient store and not far from Legoland and Lalandia and there was a free shuttle service as well. A very big plus for me (car traveller) was a good space for parking at the back of the hotel and e chargers as well. Guests should not forget to check the mini shop they had with so many goodies to buy and this hotel has a restaurant too for guets thay might want some dinner. Only thing that was missing in my opinion was an ice machine:-) and a fridge in the room ( but i guess little space for that) All in all a very good experience for us.

The environment is elegant, and the location is super convenient. It's a five-minute walk to the train station and the Hans Christian Andersen Museum, and there's a tram stop right outside. The breakfast area is particularly lovely, very refined and peaceful, and the breakfast itself is quite good too.

The hotel is on the actual Legoland resort, we had the view to the park which wss incredible. Decor is fantastic kids will love it aswell as adults, our room was all lego fun decor, massive room with great amenities. Staff are super helpful & so kind. Breakfast was very good, it can get crowded so go around 8am, there are 2 halls so everyone fits & ample of food. Location fantastic too, near center, Brickhouse & Lalalandia. 10 mims drive from airport.Be warned if you go in the summer rooms that face the park get really hot, there isnt any air con butbthry have fans that helped, at night with fans & windows open we slept superbly. There is a way to make the room cooler check attached photos, after 11am shut all windows & curtains you need to block out the heat, the window when we arrived was hot to touch so imagine.

The hotel is currently extending which means there is construction work taking place. Due to finish in July 2027. Check in is via a tablet aka self check-in. Staff reluctantly help out as they also look after the bar and food orders!! Hotel was understaffed Sunday evening at 19:30 on 28 Jun2026 when we tried to check in. My booking had an issue around name entry in their booking listthat had to be resolved by staff. Guests wait a long time for help checking in or get a drink. I expected better service from an airport hotel that can monitor how many will be checking in on a given day and staff the reception/bar counter accordingly. I'll try NOT to return to this hotel! Please note there is NO a/c in the hotel rooms!!! They advocate to open a window and then use the fan supplied, but that means noise from planes, construction work and the blackout curtain get in the way of good sleep and cooling of room......

It is a large hotel. Provide supporting services for the university and large hospital next to it. The front desk service of the hotel is very efficient, the room is large and comfortable, and the breakfast is full. Impeccable.

Location is excellent! Supermarkets are in walking distance. The room is spacious. It has three beds for us even though we are only two persons. There is a coffee machine which provides a wide ranges of coffee and chocolate for free for the whole stay. We tried chocolate deluxe, latte, cappuccino and mocha. They all taste good. The hotel also provides free ice cream and snacks like cakes or fruit for tea for free. The kitchen has microwave, oven and stove. It is clean too! We could prepare our meals like steak and salmon there. The staff is helpful especially the young handsome guy. This hotel is really good value for money.

The location is excellent, just in front of the train station and in front of the lake. The city is small so everything is by walking. The place is beautiful, is quite old so the floor is of wood and can be noisy sometimes. However, the place was not crowded so we did not notice the noise. Also the rooms are small, warm and quiet. However, you can hear people walking sometimes. The building is old, so do not expect everything perfect. Some connectors are old, plugs, doors, windows. However the place is clean. The staff is amazing, very friendly. The coffee, tea, biscuits are free everyday. It has space to work and for meetings.

The room was great, with an Andersen theme. We stayed in the Nightingale room. It's very close to places like the Hans Christian Andersen Museum, all within walking distance. There's also a statue of Andersen right outside, where many people stop to sit and take photos.
