Barceló Carmen Granada boasts stunning views of the Alhambra and a prime location that allows for easy exploration of Granada's historic sites. The hotel's rooftop pool and terrace are perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. While most guests appreciate the modern amenities and courteous service, limited parking can be a slight inconvenience. Overall, it earns a well-deserved 4.5 out of 5 stars.

This hotel is only suitable for tour groups! It is really not suitable for individual travel! 1. The service is not comprehensive! No bottled water in the room! 2. It is far from the city, and the taxi costs 10 euros. 3. The breakfast is good, but the quality is average! 4. When checking out, they said we used the drinks in the refrigerator!

I didn't know the geography of Granada, so I expected it to be a moderate outskirts, but I took the hotel, except that it was good to get through the highway when I visited Alhambra. It's far from the downtown area where people are gathered, and I struggled to move in many ways. And one big mall that you can't tell if you're open or not, and one big restaurant opposite it. And it's really nothing, nothing, except for the mercadona near the residential area. In conclusion, the location can't give you a good score, and I had a pretty hard time coming and going to the downtown area of Granada, where I was taking a bus using a car. Please calculate the route between the main tourist points and the hotel in advance and move. The hotel overall was a bit old style, but the room size was larger than any hotel I have stayed in Spain so far. I was on a honeymoon, but I was assigned two single beds and asked me to change to a double bed room. There was no work, and I was able to have a satisfactory bed. Parking is 16 euros a day, and the system is an old-fashioned system with tickets, so you have to pull out meaningless ticket paper every time you enter, and when you go out, you press the bell and say the lake of the room. Our couple were not sensitive to noise, but the hotel structure was a shared structure in which the noise in the lobby was upstairs, and we were right above the group guests who were drinking late at night in the lobby. It was a location room. I understand that it was inevitable in the structure, but it was not a very pleasant experience that I could hear the noise of those people in the hotel room. And the other thing that was absurd was that they had slippers and robes, and they were paid three euros for them and they were packaged. My wife needed slippers as a necessity, and she paid for the package and was able to provide a little better quality slippers than the one-time slippers provided by other hotels in the usual way. The experience that I had to pay and use slippers and bathrobes for 3 euros at a 5 star hotel could not be said to be absolutely good. Because I'm writing this review in the next hotel I checked in, wearing a bathrobe and slippers that are free of charge at this hotel.

One of the most beautiful new classic hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The hotel used to be a bank, and they’ve turned it into a stunning hotel. Honestly, everything about it was amazing – the location, the staff, and the room. I highly recommend booking with them. If you have a car, there’s a nearby parking area. I’ll definitely stay there again if I visit Granada in the future!

The hotel is located next to the main road in the center of Gaddis. It is about 5-6 minutes drive from the Cathedral and the old town. There are many parking spaces around the hotel. The room is large and comfortable, the bed is good, and the shower is good.

The hotel has characteristics, the restaurant is below the Roman ruins, the indoor swimming pool has three pools of different temperatures. Very characteristic. However, because the city is small and there are not many tourists, the city swimming pool is not big, about four people at a time, you have to make an appointment in advance. Outdoor closed early, there is nothing to visit nearby. Stay for one night. Overall it is recommended to try.

We booked this hotel because we find it is close to several key public transportation line: EA to airport, T1 to the downtown area, local train station link to the main City Train Station. Late we find that some trains for example, the one to Cordoba, can be aboard in this station. You don't need to travel to the main station. We also find there are a supermarket nearby too. And you can also find a few restaurant nearby. The VIPS cafe is good for breakfast.

Barcelo Malaga is just beside Malaga Train station, with plenty of shops and restaurants. The bus station is only around 100 meters walk. The room is clean, but the Wifi is not so strong. The water from the bath is strong, the kettle provides, but no packets of coffee and tea. The reception staff is good, they provide you a Malaga map and tell you the directions and places of attraction.

AArp303This hotel does a really good job of capturing the “Hard Rock” vibe so if you’re into that you’ll enjoy your stay at this property. Lots of memorabilia dotted around, great music and some lovely touches around the hotel. We stayed in a deluxe room which was small but furnished to a good standard with a very comfy bed. Bathroom was well equipped and the balcony was a decent size. Jukebox feature on the TV is excellent and allows you to get the party started before you go out or continue it after hours in your room. Having YouTube on the TV is handy too. The pools were good, there’s 2 pretty large ones and they look great during the day and night. The rooftop deck is quite chilled, it has a bar and an infinity pool with beds to suit everyone really, lots of variety so standard cushioned beds and lower body shaped beds. There are several “Bali beds” that come with a 150 Euro minimum spend. Sounds like alot but the food & drink isn’t cheap so can be done relatively easily if you plan to stay at the pool all day and have lunch. The pools are shallow but a good size and the infinity pool offers a brilliant view over the second pool area. The second pool area features a stage and DJ booth at the top of the pool and is louder. The pool parties that Hard Rock offer are held here during the day as well so bear that in mind when selecting your bed. There is an “Eden Cafe” in this area offering burgers and the like during the day and the main “Sessions” restaurant that serves breakfast and dinner too if you book half board. We booked bed & breakfast so didn’t eat dinner at the property. We did have lunch on our first afternoon at the Eden cafe and it was very good. The breakfast offers an excellent selection & its tasty. They also have a musicians playing a different instrument each day on the outdoor terrace which is a nice touch. The bar area in the lobby lacks atmosphere and is a little on the slow side to get a drink. The cocktails are good though and its worthwhile having a drink there, especially if a live band is on. Service at the hotel was very good overall and we very much enjoyed our stay. The bellhops in particular are excellent. They provided us with a “courtesy room” on checkout day (we had a late flight) which was a nice touch after having checked out already and been out all day. The location of the hotel was further out than we thought and required you to either walk through a large, unkept subway or walk down narrow busy roads with several hills. The subway route is best and takes around 15 mins to Porto Banus but is not ideal at night. We had no issues and saw no undesirables but I do think Hard Rock could do more to make that subway more inviting (clean it, add their branding, have music playing etc). I don’t think they own it but perhaps they should take ownership of how it looks at the very least as it could quite easily put some people off staying at the hotel. The “****** Marbella” is attached to the hotel. It’s a nice ****** but lacks atmosphere. You also need your passport to enter (I had to go back to the room) so bear that in mind too. There is a handy supermarket opposite the hotel that has a great selection of snacks, ice cream, toiletries, booze etc plus it’s really cheap. There’s a lovely little bar called “Park Lane Sports Bar” that is family run and really charming. The drinks are cheap and the people who run it are very friendly. The resident dog “Lolo” is also quite a character and really makes the bar. We also ate at a lovely little Spanish restaurant called “Noto” - the prawns, pizza and service was excellent. There are more luxurious hotels to stay in Marbella and hotels in nicer locations but for a party vibe, good food & drink, strong pool decks and friendly service the Hard Rock is a solid choice.

GGuest UserCute hotel. The rooms are decently big to have luggage and even move around. No kettle or coffee in room which was a bit of disappointment but they have water filter on every floor so that was a plus. Toiletries not provided in room but you can ask the reception for toothbrush etc. location is a few hundred meter walk from Santa Justa Station. Cathedral is walkable as well. Takes about 20 minuets to reach. Other attractions are also explorable on foot.

AArun.Nice and friendly staff, was fairly professional. Wouldn’t say it’s 4* at all, would say closer to 2-3* but the suite was very nice. Had a mini kitchen type thing with a microwave and a sink, separate toilet from shower and bath. There was a separate shower and a separate bath. It was fairly spacious and actually quite a nice room.

YYiyufengqingThis is my favorite hotel throughout my trip to Spain, both in terms of environment and service. The color tone of the room is in the style of Gong, with red and blue colors, which is both warm and exotic. When I return to the room every evening, there are different fruits and snacks. When I return to the room at night, I also receive thoughtful care, including L'Occitane makeup remover wipes and hand cream. The breakfast is also very rich. You can also consider dining in the hotel for lunch and dinner. The quality is different from ordinary restaurants outside. Next time you travel, even to another city, it must be your first choice!

CClaire MThe location of Don Alfredo is unbeatable!!! You basically fall out of the hotel and into the old town of Marbella. That said, the hotel is not one of the newest and it's a bit rocked down, but still well kept. The room was very basic but clean, as was the bathroom. We didn't plan to spend a lot of time in the room anyways, so for our purposes it was perfect for a quite affordable price! 😀 The staff was kind and helpful and in the morning they brought coffee according to our wishes to the dining room table or also to one of the tables right outside at the entrance of the hotel. Coffee was great, but breakfast was not very impressive, so we only had a little bite, but always took some fruit from the fruit bowl 🍎🍏🍊 Parking outside the hotel was a bit difficult, but not far there was the possibility to park for free, just needed to circle a bit sometimes and get lucky with a spot getting empty right in front of us ... Altogether, we enjoyed our stay a lot ... The old Castillo de Marbella was right in front of the hotel and there was a little resto named El Rincón de la Muralla that would seat you right beside the Castle wall - very romantic at night! 💕 After dinner there, we only had a few steps to take to get into bed and enjoy a good night's sleep ... As for the pictures, only the first one is showing the hotel, the rest are pictures taken in the old town Marbella, super close to the hotel - and just to prove how great this location is! 😎

SShabomI had a great stay! The place was really nice and the hotel was very clean. I really appreciated the late check-in option, which made things so convenient. The customer service was outstanding—everyone was friendly and helpful. The only downside was the breakfast, which didn’t have many options. Other than that, everything was perfect. I can’t wait to come back again!

FFranfromivegillThis is a lovely hotel…. Sp pretty with columns and alcoves. For the first night I booked dinner B&B….. the food was delicious! Dinner was 5 courses but included the best Broccoli au Gratin I ever tasted and included a glass of red wine. I expected the wine to be tough but it was actually very good! I did not try the open air swimming pool but in this heat it was an option … nearby beach was crowded and with fascinating container port nearby I found it hard to believe the water was bathing quality! 8€ taxi ride from bus station. Staff were unfailingly helpful and courteous. Next time I will ask for a room with a mountain-view. I stayed a second night … trip charged me a higher price? I also took their Day Excursion to Morocco…€72 but add on €40 for tips! It included return ferry, transport, guide and Moroccan lunch ( delicious) … driver, his friend, guide and me on a 32 seater bus! Obligatory “buy a carpet” talk at “craft school” ( Omg I bought a carpet!) … hold out for the trinkets shop on the way out!!! 4 hours to get back through customs … queues…. But it was fascinating v and an unexpected glimpse into border mentality. 4 layers … Moroccan military check, Moroccan police check, Spanish police check and Covid certificate check and final layer …. Spanish guards emptying and checking every car and finding something to throw away from everyone!!!! Two days feels like a wonderful week!

LlinxincuicanThe house is very newly renovated. It is easy to find at the entrance of the old town. All check-in is self-service. We wanted to check in early, but when we arrived at the door, we were told that we could not check in early. The weather was too hot, so we had to find a McDonald's and wait until three o'clock. Click to check in and check out at 11 o'clock the next day

PpuffyCloudThe staff are very nice. My flight has been delayed, and I had a great chance to miss the check-in time. I contacted the trip.com cs team, and they did a great job on passing the message to the hotel. The senorita greeting me with a big smile even if it's literally midnight, energetic, and explaining in detail for my check-in. Nevertheless, on the date check out, the hotel also offers free luggage storing up to an hour, which is great! The location of the hotel is quite near the airport bus, since I just walked up a few minutes to get in the hotel. Very friendly for travelers from or to the airport. The main attractions are with a 20-minute walk from the hotel, use your legs and save some money from that. So on it also close to the bus station, so if you depart to the bus station, also convenient. One little problem is that the room I stayed in is a bit old, so some of the amenities are broken. Yet, it's little problem to fix. The rest are very nice. The hotel is equipped with a kitchen and refrigerator. It is also nice for a long-term stay. It is also with a washing and drying machine, the price is eur6 for laundry and eur4 for drying. The bulk bed is equipped with 2 pug ins, 2 usb port. Each one got 2 lockers to store things. I am very satisfied with this hotel. Will recommend to friends.

GGuest UserThis should be a resort hotel built on the mountain, so there is no station or business around, and it is either 7 euros or 15 minutes walk from the station. I feel that it used to be quite high-end, but now it is not cleaned up too well, a bit dilapidated. The hot water in the room was broken, it was cold and hot for a while, and the bath was very dangerous. The hotel garden is very large and can run in the morning, the hot air conditioner is very sufficient, and the front desk service brother is also very good.
