Nice stay and the location very strategic. However, there are electricity outage for a while during late night but there are emergency light in room.

I had a pleasant stay at Renai Hotel. The location is excellent, making it convenient to access nearby attractions and amenities. The hotel facilities are good and well maintained, and my room was clean, comfortable, and tidy. The service was also friendly and attentive, which made the overall stay enjoyable. The breakfast was good. There was a good variety of food, and everything I tried was delicious and well prepared. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would happily recommend Renai Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

Arrived at 4 PM, the front desk wasn't very welcoming, and we had to wait a while for the room. Only after asking a second time did we get it. We specifically booked a newly renovated room; the cleanliness was decent, although there were occasional small ants in the bathroom, but it wasn't a major issue. We had to call for a hairdryer, but it was delivered quickly. Across from the hotel are two coffee shops and an E-Mart, plus a large shopping mall nearby with a huge supermarket inside. Breakfast was alright, but it was quite crowded.

I liked that it is near the river, it is calming to see the view and the river flow and people playing jet ski in Kelantan river, it's calming. the staff is accomodating and helpful, but it is an old hotel so the room may show the sign of it like the condition of wallpaper. the breakfast is great tho with nice variety and it's good

I had a great stay at ibis KB. The hotel has a modern, stylish, and energetic atmosphere, with a fun design that feels different from a typical hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-designed, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable, and the overall room setup was practical. I also enjoyed the hotel’s lively common areas and relaxed vibe. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and the check-in process was smooth. The location is also convenient for exploring Putrajaya and the surrounding area. Overall, its a great choice if you’re looking for a modern, comfortable hotel with a youthful and vibrant atmosphere. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Had a solid stay overall. Check-in and check-out were fast, and the receptionist was welcoming. The building is old style, but the room and bathroom were comfortable. Only shampoo and shower gel are provided. Bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. Parking is available but very limited. Iron is available but had burnt residue on it from a previous guest, so I couldn't use it. Breakfast buffet is decent and gets the job done. Gym and pool area were quiet, but the pool water wasn't clear. There is also a paid massage chair in the lobby. A hassle-free option if you just need a reliable place to stay.

A night at Jewels Hotel, Kota Bharu – charmingly modest yet full of pleasant surprises. We snagged a room for RM152, and despite its appearance as a budget establishment, it turned out to be delightfully comfortable. The room was spacious, elegant, beautifully furnished, everything one needs to unwind after a day of exploring. Only one small hiccup: toiletries were basic — a 3-in-1 shower gel (shampoo + conditioner) plus towel, and that’s it. No toothbrush, paste, cotton buds and so on. If those were included, I’d be rating it an A+. Some interesting colour: Jewels Hotel was formerly known as Habib Hotel and is part of the HABIB Group. Its theme, as you might guess, revolves around “jewels”, reflected in its decor and name. All in all, for value and comfort right in the heart of Kota Bharu, it hits the spot — perfect for travellers on the go wanting something pleasant without breaking the bank.

We stayed at the Crown Garden Hotel for two nights and had a lovely experience overall. The staff were attentive and friendly from check-in to check-out, always ready to help with recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of options, though it did get a bit crowded during peak hours. The garden area mentioned in the hotel’s name lived up to expectations — a peaceful spot to relax with a coffee in the morning or unwind in the evening. A few minor drawbacks: the Wi-Fi was a little spotty in some parts of the building, and the elevator was slow during busy times. Nothing major, but worth noting.

The location of the hotel which is right in the middle of downtown makes it a good choice but the downside is parking is always a problem . There are probably 4 reserved spots for hotel guests only and you need to drive around the street several times bwdire wven finding a spot to park. Amenities are basic. Hotel is small so there is no buffet breakfast area. At best there is packed breakfast in the lobby and you pick it up and eat in your bedroom
