"Easy to find, straightforward check-in and checkout. Rooms are small but neat with a window and AC (summer). The mattress in mine should be due for changing and the arm chair was heavily stained and needed a good shampoo. Some basic maintenance work is required, outside regular housekeeping. The bathrooms are spacious but since they are shared it could use some extra hooks or clothing racks to keep your stuff."

A short walk down a slope to the Ela beachfront and a good restaurant and bakery. The hotel is ok, but furniture, sheets, and mattresses are old and 'tired'. Staff is really friendly. Pool area nice. Check-in a bit frustrating as they couldn't find our reservation - eventually sorted out.

I arrived early in the morning and was told an early check-in was possible for an additional fee, so I was assigned a room. The bedding had a slight musty smell, but I was so tired that I fell asleep immediately. When I woke up, I had a rash and itching, which looked like bed bug bites, just like in the photos. At first, I thought they were mosquito bites and asked the reception for ointment, but they said they didn't have any. The facilities are good compared to other hotels in Port Moresby, but I never expected to get bed bug bites at a Hilton hotel. I mentioned the bed bugs to the reception, and a staff member noted it down, but there was no follow-up. I probably won't be staying here again.

1. Papua New Guinea can be a bit unsafe, and taxis are scarce, so the hotel's complimentary airport shuttle service was a real lifesaver! 2. The room wasn't very clean, but it was quiet. The hygiene conditions were really subpar. The breakfast was just okay, and the bed was quite uncomfortable – a bit too soft for my liking. 3. The room was well-ventilated, which made for a peaceful stay.

Service is great, the place is great, shuttle to the airport was provided which is nice. Bathroom amenities, now that was a bummer. Provided a comb, shower cap, body lotion and the usual shampoo, conditioner and body wash but that’s it. There was no toothbrush, toothpaste, no hairdryer. It was quite bare bones, not a problem but if it’s a 5 star hotel, then it should at least have some standard, I’ve stayed at 3 star hotels, who gave better amenities. Everything else is up to par. Only one pair of hotel room slippers, had to request for one more, it was late and we left like 15 minutes later, so never got them.

(+) the hotel room is clean and spacious. Check in from 2pm was possible. The hotel has its own restaurant and rooftop bar. It is located in a safe neighbourhood, I was walking around Boroko and visiting the local market, crafts market during the day and no issue at all. (-) I think I was unlucky cos my room 210 had bedbugs. I suffered from itchy bites the whole night, and thinking what it was until I saw a doctor. At first I thought it was mosquitoes but the room is air conditioned. See picture. I was bitten on my neck, arms and back. Their bedsheet or mattress must have been infested. Travelers do beware.

A fun and enjoyable stay. A very unique and very large property. I would’ve preferred my room have been in the main building. But this is a very busy and popular hotel. Breakfast is decent, and they have a very good onsite shop for all your conveniences. I’d definitely stay again.

The Hotel great service and great staff , the staff and front office to understand and monitor what type of guest either business, pleasure etc...Also priorizing the customers need wants and not to turn away customers whom are there for good cause in helping our country . The hotel clean and nice and needs monitoring of poolside use for the guest in house only and family kids not the public . Staff and supervisor agu in front customers in pool side restaurant it's bad .Solve your problems quietly not for customers to hear or know .
