We mistakenly booked the hotel in the wrong area, and a non-refundable reservation. A minute after the reservation we requested to cancel through the website where we made the booking - but a few hours later we received a refusal from the hotel - that is - they took money without our stay
We have no way to really rate this hotel. It can be excellent and it can be bad
The approach was not appropriate and therefore we were disappointed

We didn't really know where we were going to sleep and it was actually a great choice. New, beautiful hotel, simple rooms (I honestly think it's ideal for a few nights), two coffee machines, tea machines, etc. and a juice machine where we can serve ourselves at no cost, breakfast with everything we expect in a hotel breakfast.
Despite the hotel being located near very busy roads, we never had any problems with noise in the room and at night.
We liked it a lot.

We had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse. The location is perfect, right in the center of the old town, making it very convenient to visit nearby attractions and restaurants on foot. The host was very friendly and welcoming. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. Highly recommended!

The AP Dona Aninhas was a beautiful hotel with all the amenities! The service was exceptional, the food fantastic and accommodations great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Got a great price on the hotel also. They also went above and beyond. They connected with our next nights hotel and made arrangements with them to pick up our swimwear that we forgotten in our rooms. It was at our next hotel when we showed up later that day.

Very good hotel, with a magnificent pool. Relatively close to the city center, you can walk.
What I don't understand is that you can't pay by card if you buy less than €5 at the hotel bar. You can't have a beer without metal. One of the people who worked there insisted a lot that you couldn't pay less than €5 with a card, it was also difficult for them to charge it to my room by showing my ID at reception, finally and as an exceptional favor, they charged it to me and I paid it in the checking out. It shouldn't be that difficult.😫

We had a fantastic stay at Axis hotel! The staff was incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions. We especially loved the breakfast and spa. GGuest UserThis was one of the best and most unique hotels we've ever visited. The location is perfect, there are tons of shops, restaurants, and bakeries, plus several historical sites and museums that are must-see. The hotel's chocolate museum is truly an incredible experience, especially in the education of the history of chocolate and the cocoa bean. And the chocolate products themselves are fantastic. We highly recommend this hotel if you are planing to visit this town.

GGuest UserWe were in awe of this home. So much to explore and so much history! Loved the thick granite walls and original wooden doors/shutters with hardware, antiques and displays everywhere, beautiful view, and even a pool. It is situated in a quaint little area by a church and you can easily walk down to the river. The area around Ponte da Barca is absolutely beautiful and fun to explore. The hosts are very friendly and offered a lovely breakfast.

From the very first moment, we were greeted with warm smiles that made us feel truly welcome. The room was like a fairytale – with exquisite woodcarving and a magnificent bed that transported us back in time, as if we were characters from the era of sword duels. Our heartfelt thanks to the entire hotel team for their warmth and for making this stay unforgettable!

AAnonymous UserThe apartment originally booked on the BOOKING platform was cancelled for no reason two days before the stay. The Viena Garden Hotel was temporarily set on Trip.com. The hotel was very good, the front desk staff was very warm and the English was very good. The hotel is not far from the sea and the old city. It takes about 5 minutes to walk and it is convenient to travel. Maybe because the room is an old-fashioned building, the floor is relatively thin, and the sound of walking upstairs is louder, which is the only shortcoming.
