Macau Light Rapid Transit (LRT) Map
Macau does not have a traditional metro system like Guangzhou or Hong Kong. Instead, the city uses the Macau Light Rapid Transit (LRT), which is the main rail transport for visitors and locals. The LRT is clean, easy to use, and especially convenient for travelling between Taipa, Cotai, the airport and border areas. It is a good choice for tourists staying in resort and casino zones.
At present, three LRT lines are in operation. The Taipa Line is the core route and the most useful for visitors, linking Taipa Ferry Terminal, Macau International Airport, Cotai resorts, sports venues and residential areas. The Seac Pai Van Line extends service to the southern part of Coloane, making it easier to reach quieter residential and local neighbourhoods. The newest Hengqin Line, opened in December 2024, connects Taipa directly to Hengqin Port, allowing smooth transfers between Macau and mainland China.
More lines are under development to improve coverage. The East Line, expected to open around 2028, will connect the Macau Peninsula with Taipa, serving busy border areas and city districts. Future West and South Lines are also planned to further link the peninsula, inner harbour areas and tourism zones.

The hotel was very comfortable, and the room was excellent. It was clean, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated. The overall design of the hotel felt spacious and relaxing, making our stay very enjoyable.
Another big plus is the location. Just next to the hotel, there is a place with delicious food at very reasonable prices. We ended up having many of our meals there, which was very convenient.
I would also like to specially mention the doormen at the entrance, Jerald and Abe. Jerald kindly helped us book a taxi using his phone, and thanks to his quick assistance, we were able to make it in time for the 5:00 pm House of Dancing Water show. Abe was very attentive and would quickly come over to help us with our luggage whenever he saw us carrying it.

In the afternoon, my mom suddenly experienced numbness and weakness in her hands. The pool area has a lovely tropical vibe with one heated pool and three unheated ones – perfect if you don't mind a bit of a chill. We stayed at The Venetian for two nights, then had to switch to The Galaxy because they were fully booked. The room rate was the same, but The Galaxy's heated pool was much more crowded, and the room was half the size of The Venetian's.

It's about 400 meters from the Lotus Square, and there's also a racing museum nearby. Not far from the Lotus Square is the Guia Lighthouse, which I highly recommend visiting for panoramic views of the Macau Peninsula. Walking to Grand Lisboa isn't too far, but if you prefer not to walk, the bus is very convenient. Macau isn't big, but its urban layout is compact. For dining, you can head to the area around Rua de Pequim. Wynn Macau is within walking distance; you just need to use an underpass, go past StarWorld Hotel, and Wynn is right across. To get to Macau Airport, you can take bus AP1 from Lotus Square. It's also very close to the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, accessible by bus route 3. The shower has strong water pressure, and housekeeping is prompt. Overall, a good experience! As a bonus, you can store your luggage for free for one day. This new hotel in Macau was a wonderful surprise! The service was so thoughtful it moved me, making our stay with elderly parents and children incredibly hassle-free.
We chose this hotel simply because it was new, with modern facilities and a comfortable environment. I didn't expect to become such a fan after our stay!
We booked a Celebrity Suite and a Deluxe Room. We wanted them next to each other but were worried about a room at the very end of the hall being inconvenient. The front desk was incredibly helpful and arranged adjacent rooms for us, also close to the elevator. This made traveling with seniors and kids so much easier.
Initially, there was a minor issue with the electric kettle. After mentioning it to the front desk, the service went above and beyond: they proactively delivered plenty of water daily, cleaned our room twice a day, and even offered complimentary beer, showing exceptional care. They also prepared snacks, chocolates, and other small gifts for the children – full of thoughtful details.
The in-room dining was also excellent. We ordered pizza for two consecutive days; it was delicious and convenient, solving our meal needs without leaving the room.
The breakfast at The Grand Suites was also worth praising; it was delicious, refined, and unique. The female servers were all very pleasant. There was just one young man at the coffee bar's milk station who was a bit cold. If he could smile a bit more, the dining experience would be even more perfect.
The amenities downstairs are incredibly convenient, with a Pop Mart and a Hong Kong-style cafe. Getting a taxi outside was also very quick. The security guards at the entrance were very responsible, actively helping with luggage and directing traffic – the management is very well-organized.
The overall service was attentive and warm, with excellent attitudes. This stay left a fantastic impression, and I will definitely choose this hotel first next time I visit Macau. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling with family!From£77

First off, the transportation is super convenient. You can take a shuttle from the border gate to City of Dreams, and the Grand Hyatt is right next door. The Cotai East LRT station is practically at your doorstep, making it really easy to get to Cunha Street. Plus, City of Dreams offers shuttles to Macau Peninsula starting at noon, dropping you off near the Grand Emperor Hotel, which is a walkable distance to the Ruins of St. Paul's.
Another great feature is the standard-sized swimming pool, where you can get an unobstructed view and even a photo op with Morpheus. From the footbridge at the LRT station entrance, you can directly admire the Wynn Palace's fountain show and cable car.

The hotel is located in Macau Peninsula's old town and is generally quite small. The room amenities are all there. I didn't dare to use the bathtub, but the bathroom came with a floor mat and a non-slip grab bar, which is something older Macanese hotels do better than both new and old hotels in mainland China. The hotel is relatively close to the Macao Polytechnic University and the Grand Prix Museum, about a ten-minute walk. It's also not far from the Ruins of St. Paul's, a walk of a little over ten minutes. Getting to Wynn Palace or Fisherman's Wharf is further and requires a taxi. This time, any journey over twenty minutes by foot, I took a taxi, but I didn't get to ride the **bus**. The hotel has a Cantonese restaurant, Jin Man Xuan, on the first floor, with prices similar to Cantonese restaurants in Shenzhen.
The Macau Tower and the double-decker sightseeing bus require advance booking, so I'll save those for next time when I bring the kids to Macau!

Happy to get upgraded to a suite. Appreciate the customer service of their staff very much! They were proactive to offer help and reacted fast to solve any problems arise. They would also go an extra step to make their customers satisfied and happy. Overall cleanliness is good. Bed is comfy. Gym room and indoor swimming pool is nice too. The only drawback is the outdoor swimming pool not opened due to construction which we didn’t know ahead. But it was still a very pleasant stay. Big thanks to the staff:)From£65

Facilities: Not brand new, but everything works perfectly. The gym is large with good equipment, and the rooms and beds are spacious.
Cleanliness: Very clean. The housekeeping staff were polite and did a thorough job. They were happy to provide extra water and coffee upon request.
Environment: The environment is quiet. Facing the sea, it truly feels wonderful to open the window and see the ocean – all you hear are birds and the waves. The beach is very close, just a three to five-minute walk away.
