The service and breakfast were both good. I even forgot something, and the hotel called to thank me for it. However, the strange thing about this hotel is that the air conditioning only turns on at 6 PM. I came back from Maiji Mountain in the afternoon and was really cold, wanting to rest in the room. But I ended up having to wear my down jacket indoors. Air conditioning only starting at 6 PM? This is the first time I've encountered something like this in all my years of traveling!

The hotel is impeccably clean, well-appointed with all necessary facilities, and the service is excellent. It even has a laundry room, which is a big plus for families traveling with children. Its location is highly convenient, being just a few minutes' taxi ride from Lanzhou West Station. Right downstairs, there's a well-developed and very attractive commercial district that's great for exploring, offering abundant choices for both dining and shopping.

Perfect location! It is within walking distance of Mingsha Mountain. The “western”dining hall on the roof is the best place to enjoy sunset (without climbing the sand dunes) - a benefit only available to the hotel guests. An additional perk: The hotel offers a free drink (free cookies come with drinks). The hotel looks like an ancient Western Region fortress, and the room is decorated with local ethnic style. It is not brand new, but everything is clean and well maintained. We stayed there two nights. The food were good, and the staff were nice and helpful when checking out potential allergens for my daughter. Highly recommend this place!

As soon as we walked in, we were struck by the warmth of the front desk staff—their smiles were truly heartwarming, their tone gentle and patient. They even proactively informed us we could upgrade our room. This unexpected surprise instantly alleviated much of the travel fatigue. Entering the room was even more stunning: the light was so abundant it was bright even without turning on the lights. Opening the window opened up the view, and looking up revealed the scenery. The room was impeccably clean, even the often-overlooked corners like under the bed and in the corners were spotless, a truly delightful sight. While the room wasn't particularly large, the layout was incredibly well-organized, with clear divisions between the wardrobe, desk, and dresser, ensuring it didn't feel cramped at all. The most surprising thing was the soundproofing. With the door closed at night, the outside noise seemed completely blocked out, and the bed was incredibly quiet. The breathable, skin-friendly bedding made it so comfortable to sleep right away, and I woke up feeling completely refreshed. The breakfast also didn't disappoint! The hotel offers a wide selection of both Chinese and Western dishes. The Chinese congee, buns, and side dishes are authentic and hearty, while the Western bread, coffee, and omelets are fresh and delicious. Whether you prefer light or rich flavors, you'll find something to your liking, leaving you feeling completely satisfied. Even better, the hotel's location is just a 5-minute walk from the food court, making it convenient for evening dining and buying local specialties. Upon check-out, the staff took the time to inquire about your stay and listened attentively to your feedback, demonstrating their genuine concern for their guests. After this stay, I've already put this hotel on my ”must-visit list” for future visits to this area. I've even recommended it to several friends and sincerely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay!

First time in Zhangye doing the Silk Road. We’re Australians and don’t speak Mandarin. The hotel is brand new and the facilities were great. Service was fantastic and even though the reception couldn’t speak English they were so helpful and we communicated using a translation app to recommend restaurants and help us book transport. The General Manager of the hotel is called Jeffery and he speaks fluent English and was very helpful as well. Definitely recommend this hotel for tourists.

We had a great stay at [hotel name]! As soon as we entered the door, the front desk staff checked us in warmly and efficiently, and also recommended surrounding attractions. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and I had a great sleep at night. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, and the toiletries are of good quality. The hotel restaurant offers a rich breakfast, with both Chinese and Western food. The gym is fully equipped to meet your daily exercise needs. The location is also excellent, with many delicious restaurants nearby and convenient transportation. Will choose here next time!

The original member of staff that checked me in was extremely unprofessional. We were a family that came to visit with all permanent residents cards ( Green Cards ) and the way it was handled with very unprofessional. 1. The hotel should be aware that they don’t need to photocopy permanent residents cards as we are treated the same as local ID cards. The manager needs to train staff. I appreciate it’s rare to see but it wasn’t handle correctly. We have done amazing things for the country, China - and to be treated like this was disgraceful. One woman who helped us to our room, she was totally amazing! She was very professional- she understood professionalism and great customer service. We won’t ever forget such a wonderful woman. The hospitality industry is very important- every detail counts. However the negative impact can last a lifetime. I would like to thank the wonderful woman at this hotel and I truly hope you become manager of this place so you can show some staff members how to treat customers.

This hotel was truly amazing! The room felt incredibly fresh upon entering, and the bedding was spotless. It was a truly comfortable stay. Fruit and milk were provided, and a late-night snack was even offered. And our housekeeper, Li Ping, was incredibly friendly! From the moment we arrived, she greeted us warmly and patiently guided us. We also had quick and thoughtful responses to any small requests. For example, when I asked about nearby restaurants, she even gave us detailed recommendations for reputable ones. She was incredibly thoughtful. When I forgot something at the hotel, she even reached out and helped me return it. It was truly heartwarming!

Our room was upgraded to an executive room, and the view was fantastic! Huge thanks to the staff for their thoughtful service. Breakfast was decent; as vegetarians, we mostly stuck to the bread, and the European pastries and croissants were perfectly baked. The coffee was good too, and the restaurant was clean, making for an acceptable dining experience. The gym was well-equipped, with a great selection of weight training machines. The housekeeping staff was very diligent; our room was always spotless when we returned from breakfast. While the room facilities were a bit dated and the shower door was quite noisy when opening and closing, the overall stay was still comfortable. The only downsides were that we couldn't extend our stay for more nights and there was no self-service laundry room. The laundry service provided by Hyatt had inconvenient hours. This might be fine for a short stay, but it would be quite inconvenient for stays longer than two weeks. Overall, the Hyatt experience was excellent and well worth a stay when visiting Lanzhou, especially for the stunning night views of the Yellow River.

I have stayed at Atour Hotel several times and the experience has always been great. The service attitude is warm and friendly, the facilities are complete, the parking is convenient and free, the shower water is plenty and hot and comfortable, and bottled water is specially given when leaving in the morning. It has five-star reviews and is recommended for staying! In addition, there are many restaurants within a few hundred meters around, and it is very convenient to eat. Especially walk about 900 meters towards Dingxi Hospital, turn right at the 4th intersection, there are many Northwest specialty restaurants!
