Our stay at this lakeside hotel was exceptional. The personnel was not only nice and friendly but also remarkably helpful, creating a welcoming environment. The hotel's prime location by the lake, with easy access to main tourist attractions (a quick taxi ride away), made exploring the city a delight. The room was spacious and flawlessly clean, ensuring a comfortable retreat. The breakfast surpassed expectations, with an excellent spread, including freshly prepared noodles. The reception staff demonstrated outstanding assistance, always ready to help with anything we needed. A top choice for those seeking a superb blend of location, comfort, and service.

Because we were driving by ourselves, it was important to choose a hotel in each place. We wanted to have a good rest. This is the hotel we stayed in both when we entered Xinjiang and when we returned. The room was large, and we could take a comfortable bath. The breakfast was also good. The beautiful lady at the front desk had a very good attitude. We had a meal in the restaurant on the second floor on the way back. The food tasted very good, especially the pregnant mother. Her attitude made us feel comfortable. If I have the opportunity to come to this city, I will stay here again.

We stayed in this hotel as the base to see the Colourful Mountains. The hotel is old which is ok but it is not as clean as many guests have described. There was hair in the shower and the bathroom is patched up. Also, I would not recommend this hotel for nonsmokers as we are because there is smoking in the common areas. The entire hotel including the rooms smell of stale smoke which have seeped into the carpets and furnishings. You constantly feel choked up with fresh and stale cigarette smoke throughout the entire stay. That said, this viewpoint may be our problem because we are visitors from a country that has banned smoking in enclosed public spaces and it is what we are accustomed to. On another note, the service and hospitality was excellent and we thank the hotel team for this.

This place is very comfortable, the room is new and clean, close to restaurants, and most importantly, the receptionist here is very helpful. He gave us good advice and arranged a tour bus for us. Even though we arrived at the hotel quite late, the staff took good care of us. Overall, this hotel is reasonable. But, here are suggestions for improvement: 1) The air conditioning can be improved. It seems to be centrally controlled, and lowest temperature is about 25C, which is not cold enough, especially during summer. 2) Breakfast is very skimpy. Not much choices, despite advertising that it also has Western breakfast. 3) Hotel staff can be trained to be more knowledgeable about tourist attractions in Jiayuguan.

I passed by Jiuquan City while driving and fell in love with the underground garage of this hotel. It is spacious and bright. I gave it a good review last time. I came back and stayed here again this time, and it felt as good as before. Especially the breakfast was very good. There were many varieties and good quality. I give it a thumbs up! I have a few minor complaints. First, the barrier-free problem of the basement mentioned last time; second, it is better to move the washbasin out of the bathroom; third, the water-boiling table next to the TV has the kettle on top and the socket under the table. How to boil water? Overall very good!

I want to praise this hotel. This is my second time in Zhangye. I like this city very much. The staff of this hotel is very enthusiastic. The room is decorated in a high-end way. The sanitation is very clean. The bedding is comfortable. There is a dry and wet partition. The toilet is smart. There is a refrigerator, a humidifier, and a ”Reader” magazine. The hotel upgraded the room type and sent a buffet breakfast, which was very delicious. I ate Zhangye's special beef rice and sauerkraut noodles. There are many varieties and they are delicious. There are also welcome fruits, yogurt, and snacks. It's just a burst of happiness. Friends who drive by themselves can park for free. There are many delicious restaurants around. It's highly recommended! There was a problem with the air conditioning in the room. The hotel front desk immediately asked the master to come and deal with it. He also sent us a fruit plate, which was very delicious. Thank you! I will stay here next time.

We stayed 4 nights at the Runhu Hotel while we visited all the tourist attractions around Zhangye, including trips to the Gobi desert, Ping Shan Hu (Grand Canyon), the Alien Valley and other sites. The hotel - which is clean, spacious and quiet - has motivated employees who are happy to meet any request. The restaurant is actually very good with reasonable prices the buffet breakfast also was varied and of very good quality. The hotel also provides such services as nightly warm milk deliver and a foot soaking tub with epsom salts with no extra charge. The hotel also referred us to a driver with his own very nice and well kept car. He, Mr. Li, went way above and beyond what anyone could expect. He provided snacks, fruits, water and some sort of local soft drink and arranged tickets in advance where reservations were required and made sure to adapt those reservations when the weather closed one of the sites. His recommendations for local food at or near the various sites were also spot on. While the places were simple (and very inexpensive), the food was honest and good. You can bank on Mr. Li to make sure everything goes along smoothly. All you have to do is tell him what you want to see, or ask him for recommendations, and he will do the rest. In short, splendid hotel for the price with terrific service and if you need a driver, Mr. Li is your guy!

The lobby of this hotel is very comfortable, and there is free parking. The service attitude of the front desk lady is very good. The hotel also has free airport pick-up and drop-off services. The driver is also very polite and the service is very good. The bedding in the room is very comfortable and the room items are all available. The breakfast is relatively simple, which may be due to the off-season. I will stay here again next time! I stayed in a king-size bed room. The bed was very comfortable. It felt like it was slowly sinking, and people could fall asleep quickly. There is also a laundry room and a gym on the second floor of the hotel, which is very convenient. After dinner, I went to walk on the treadmill and felt very comfortable.

The hotel is well located in city center and provides complimentary pick up/drop off service from train station. There is a direct bus which goes to mogao caves right in front the hotel- making self transport a breeze. Room is spacious and nicely designed with a large bath tub. Apart from the hotel hardware, what really stood out was the extra mile services offered by the staff. There are 2 staff who really shine. Firstly, Ms tong tong （彤彤）was very patient in explaining all the touristy sites around and how to get there. She helped us book performance tickets so we could enjoy some discounts. When we enquired about transfer to liu yuan, she not only checked for all the information online for us but also personally went to the bus station to find a driver who goes to liuyuan. We're so impressed with her extra mile service!! Really kudos to her great personality and service. Next staff to mention is Mr li (李师傅）who picked us up at the train station. He suggested some dining places to us and offered to drop us off at mogao caves when we bumped into him at the hotel lobby. Overall, highly recommend to stay at this hotel.
