After staying in Lhasa for two days, we came back from a short tour and rebooked this Tibetan-style hotel. The staff (both male and female) were very enthusiastic and responsible. We even received a small welcome gift upon check-in, which made us feel right at home. The hotel breakfast was very extensive, and the views from both the room and the restaurant were absolutely stunning.

The room is spacious and well ventilated. It has 24-hour oxygen supply, which relieves the discomfort of high oxygen and hypoxia. The humidifier also makes people sleep comfortably. We stayed for a few days and the service was very good. The front desk clerk Zeren Yongchu was very considerate and provided good service. He received 5 stars and is worth recommending!
If you're prone to altitude sickness, don't choose this hotel. The diffuse oxygen supply only lasts about an hour, so you have to turn it on manually. I woke up several times during the night, and the oxygen supply stopped working by 7 AM. Nasal inhalation is also an extra charge. The air conditioning system only heats, not cools, making the room extremely stuffy.
I was extremely disappointed with this hotel, which is known as Hilton, and I would never choose it again.

The hotel environment is excellent, and it's very clean and comfortable. I'd definitely have stayed a few more days if I hadn't already booked my flight. The hotel activities are also great. However, I was quite disappointed with the front desk service. We had two rooms in our party, and one of them was upgraded, but we weren't informed. When I called the front desk, the first time they said they were busy with check-ins. The second time I called, they told me the room card was incorrect. A little later, they said it was an upgrade. I'm not sure how credible the front desk's statements are. Then, the next day, when I inquired about the deposit refund, they initially told me the deposit for room 501 had been returned. I told them I paid 1000 for both rooms together, and then they said room 507 hadn't been inspected yet. I'm not sure if the hotel front desk has proper systematic training. I booked for one night, and both explanations from the front desk felt deceptive. I hope the hotel can provide more training for their front desk staff. Although the front desk's actions made me uncomfortable, I'm very satisfied with how the hotel manager handled the situation. He went back and forth several times to resolve it for me and kept apologizing. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when I visit Lhasa next time, but I sincerely hope they can thoroughly and systematically train their front desk staff. After all, it's a high-end hotel, but the front desk's communication style doesn't seem to match that standard.
The room was spacious and very comfortable. All the hotel staff, from security to the front desk and housekeeping, were exceptionally professional and excellent! Highly recommend, definitely worth staying here! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Home Inn Select Hotel experience far exceeded expectations, comfortable and satisfied throughout the whole process, highly recommended! The front desk service is warm and efficient, check-in is fast, take the initiative to inform the rights and surrounding guidelines, intimate and thoughtful. The room is simple and elegant, with transparent lighting, warm and comfortable atmosphere; The sanitary details are full, the whole house is spotless, the bedding is white and soft, no smell, the mattress is moderately hard and soft, and it is a good night's sleep. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, clean and refreshing, with sufficient hot water and stable water pressure. The facilities are intelligent and practical, high-speed WiFi, high-definition TV, temperature-controlled air conditioning are well-functioning, bedside USB interface, minibar and other details are intimate. The breakfast is rich in variety, fresh taste and balanced nutrition. Free laundry, 24-hour gym and other supporting facilities are perfect. Excellent location, convenient travel, high cost performance, front desk Yang Qiong service attitude is very good for business trips! YQ

Stayed at this hotel in Lhasa for 4 nights and was very satisfied. There is a parking lot, the room has medical oxygen, humidifier, air conditioning, and the height of the sink. I think it is very good and will not be stained everywhere. Open the room air convection, very satisfied, the bedding is also very good, sleep well. Lhasa is easy to be high, the bedding is very important, there is free mouthwash at the front desk, body lotion, etc. Tibet is dry and these are used. You can also wash clothes for free. Li Najia at the front desk has a good service attitude. Before leaving for one night, I found that the hotel still has a free night's night. We ate dumplings and cola. It was very comfortable to eat desserts in Lhasa. Overall, I can feel that the hotel is very thoughtful for the guests, the details are in place, after all, the plateau is different from other cities. If you have the opportunity to go to Lhasa twice, you will definitely come to live here.
I really like Hilton's toiletries, Crabtree & Evelyn, and the fragrance is also my favorite. Hilton is still the best hotel in Shigatse in my opinion, but it's a bit far from Tashilhunpo Monastery, so you'll need to take a taxi. The breakfast experience at the Chinese restaurant was genuinely bad; the buffet setup was messy, and even though the food was the same, the disorganized setup ruined the dining experience. The next day at the Western restaurant, the buffet layout was clear and organized. The food was still the same, but the dining experience instantly improved significantly.
I didn't expect much at first, but I was pleasantly surprised after checking in. The hotel front desk took the initiative to help upgrade the room. The breakfast also had a rich variety of vegetables and fruits, which was a very cost-effective choice.

GGuest UserI stayed at this hotel from June 5-7 2026. The official check in time is listed at 2 pm. They did not give me access to my room until after 4 pm. Furthermore, laundry is listed as included service and they said their facility was not working and had to send it somewhere else. They charged me a hefty fee. I believe it’s a misnomer for this hotel to call themselves “international”
This hotel really only caters to Chinese speaking populations, which is fine and the typical situation in Lhasa, but to be more accurate, the hotel shouldn’t make the claim “international.” That would typically imply better more comprehensive services for people outside of one population and nationality.
This hotel is listed as 5 stars in Lhasa. I have traveled to many countries and stayed in many 5 star hotels. According to my experience, this hotel doesn’t measure up to a 5 star standard. Perhaps it did in the past. 5 star hotels typically have much better restaurants and dining options. The room was clean and I had a nice view.
XXiaojingerdegushiMany people, myself included, often debate between the St. Regis and the Shangri-La, as both hotels in Beijing are quite unremarkable. Ultimately, I chose the Shangri-La for its value for money. I had considered Songtsam too, but common sense told me to be a smart spender.
Although the hotel shows its age, its architectural style is grand and refined, revealing luxurious material choices. Time has inevitably left its mark, but a classic car, even when old, is still a classic car. Moreover, service and quality require time to accumulate and withstand market scrutiny. While the Shangri-La may not have many existing locations, it still holds a strong market advantage, and it takes an discerning eye to appreciate it.
My butler, Bowen, arranged my room before I even arrived. Looking out the window at the Potala Palace's silhouette in the distance immediately set the mood. He then meticulously delivered on all aspects of my package. I found Bowen to be a man of few words but very steady, highly responsive, and an exceptionally smooth driver. He never asked inappropriate or subjective questions, which I truly appreciated. Over three days, Bowen's accompaniment added a unique dimension to my Lhasa itinerary. Among the few Tibetans I've encountered, he was a definite plus. I sincerely wish him all the best in his work!
The Shangri-La in Lhasa lives up to its brand's standards and enhances the reputation of its sister properties. I'm so glad I made the right choice; this will be a memorable and wonderful travel experience.

GGuest UserFree pick-up service from railway station or civil aviation bus station: will arrive at the station in advance and wait to receive the hotel
Facilities: complete and complete
Hygienic: clean and tidy
Environment: The environment has nothing to say. The room can see the panoramic view of the city and the night view of the Potala Palace. The aisle can see the mountain view.
Service: The service is very good. The young ladies at the front desk are very beautiful. They will also help write Tibetan.

ZZizaibanruoxingzheThis hotel made me feel at home on the plateau.
I have to give a huge thumbs up to the Gyirong Chomo Langzong Hotel! I didn't have high expectations for a high-altitude stay, but I was blown away the moment I walked in—a rich ******* style blended with modern design. The lobby was filled with a faint scent of ******* incense, instantly soothing the fatigue from the bumpy ride.
· Before I could even speak as I got off the car, a young man with a super-smiling smile came trotting over to take my luggage (I later learned it was Xiao Rui!)
· They proactively upgraded our room upon check-in, and upon entering the room, we were served hot soy milk and fruit.
· The recommended, non-influenced viewpoint was absolutely amazing! I captured the full view of Jinshan Mountain in the sun!
I'll definitely be booking this hotel next time I'm in Tibet!

GGuest User1. This is by far the best value, most comfortable, and tastiest hotel in Lhasa. I first stayed here during the Keriya Pass trip and was so impressed that I've returned every time since, and have even recommended it to friends.
2. The service is consistently excellent, the rooms are spacious, and they provide oxygen, humidifiers, and ample heating. The parking lot is also large.
3. The breakfast is incredibly diverse and genuinely delicious – it's got that authentic wok-hei flavor! It's far superior to many five-star hotels that offer variety but lack taste. They even provide convenient individual bread portions for takeaway.
4. I didn't have time to eat fruit at breakfast, so a lovely front desk attendant kindly packed a small box for me. So thoughtful! The fruit was sweet and fresh, and the quality was excellent.
5. Because of this Lhasa hotel, I now only consider staying at Pingcuo Kangsang hotels whenever I'm in Tibet. I truly recommend it!

Excellent
YYigefeifeiI stayed at this hotel after visiting Lulang Village to see the peach blossoms, and the service was excellent. I heard it's considered the best hotel in Bayi Town. It's about a 20-minute drive from Linzhi High-Speed Rail Station. I chose it because I was taking the high-speed rail to Lhasa the next day. The breakfast was very good, and for dinner, we had the stone pot chicken set. The ******* chicken was quite tough, so we mainly just drank the soup. The hotel provides a full range of toiletries, including body lotion. I took a good oxygen-infused shower and washed my hair; I wouldn't dare wash it so easily the next day when heading to Lhasa.
