Convenient option if you’re arriving late or catching an early flight, as the hotel is very close to Kunming Airport and saves you the trip into the city. The airport pick-up and drop-off service is smooth and reliable, which makes arrival and departure hassle-free. Check-in was easy, and the staff were welcoming. A small but thoughtful touch was the complimentary flower cake on arrival, which added a nice local feel to the stay. Overall, a practical and comfortable choice for a short airport stopover.

This hotel is located right in the city center, with a lively pedestrian street and plenty of great food options downstairs. The halal beef pancakes right outside are delicious and always have a long queue! If you turn right out of the hotel and pass Nanning Street, you'll reach Shuncheng Shopping Mall, which boasts numerous restaurants. The Wuyi Road metro station is also right next to it. You can easily walk to Cuihu Park and several other pedestrian streets from the hotel, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The hotel breakfast offers a wide variety of dishes, including local Yunnan specialties like Er'si and rice noodles. The hotel maintains the high standards of Sheraton (Marriott), and the room facilities are excellent. The lovely front desk staff even upgraded my room and gave me a fruit platter. My room on the 28th floor offered expansive city views. For transportation to Kunming Station, if you're in a hurry, I'd recommend a taxi as there might not be a direct metro line due to the complex underground structure of the old city. One suggestion I have is to place ashtrays (or poles) outside the entrance. This would prevent guests who step out to smoke from a non-smoking hotel from littering cigarette butts.

Good experience staying here. The staffs are kind and helpful, super convenient to get good food and nearby Kunming old street. I had great breakfast here. Doing laundry here, after set up for washing then just put a message to the helper, they will help to dry the clothes after washing and send to our room....super happy to stay here made my journey more enjoyable 😉

The stay experience was extremely satisfying! The hotel’s location is peaceful and pleasant, far removed from the hustle and bustle. Parking is exceptionally convenient, with ample spaces available. The rooms are clean, tidy, spacious, and well-lit, making them very comfortable to stay in. They are perfect for families. The prices during the off-season are truly excellent value for money. Special mention must be made of Tara, the front desk attendant, who provided warm and attentive service. The breakfast was also very generous, offering a wide variety of both Chinese and Western-style options, ensuring that both adults and children could enjoy their meals. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and we will choose this place again in the future.

The owner was incredibly thoughtful. They called me even before I left for Lijiang to confirm my arrival time. When my taxi got close to the guesthouse, the owner came out to help with my luggage. The old town has cobblestone streets, and the owner carried my suitcase the entire way without letting it touch the ground! They're super strong, haha! When I arrived at the guesthouse, I was offered tea and flower cakes. The environment is lovely – clean and quiet. The facilities are great too, and I could even see the 'Golden Mountain Bathed in Sunlight' from the old town through my window! It's also super convenient, very close to the old town. I had a wonderful time and would definitely come back! 😋😋

Stayed for 2 nights from June 7-9, 2026. The special package I bought on Ctrip offered incredible value for money! The hotel staff were very attentive; they'd proactively greet guests anywhere within the hotel. The standalone villa was indeed spacious. Although the room facilities are quite old, you can still see the high standards and quality of the original setup! However, for a five-star hotel, providing purified water instead of mineral water for guests felt a bit like cutting corners. Sitting in the small courtyard, enjoying tea and conversation, was truly delightful. The landscaping design, arrangement, and maintenance throughout the villa area are all beautiful, especially the view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from the restaurant plaza – it's absolutely breathtaking! The hotel's breakfast selection is extensive, and the quality is excellent, with a beautiful and comfortable dining environment. As a resort hotel, it achieves a high standard and a perfect balance across all aspects, including location, environmental quality, and service level.

The best location in Kunming! It's right next to Wanda Plaza, so dining is super convenient. It's also very close to the exam center, which really eases the anxiety for parents – no worries about being late for the exam. The lobby is beautiful. I was very satisfied with my stay. Manager Anna arranged a fantastic and comfortable room, and the bedding was very clean. The front desk staff were excellent, proactive and enthusiastic.

I was very satisfied with my stay. The hotel's overall aesthetic design was impeccable, and the views were superb. From the lobby, I could clearly see the Meili Snow Mountain in the distance, its perfect form bathed in sunlight. In the evening, I enjoyed a cup of coffee on the rooftop, watching the last rays of the sunset disappear over the horizon. The snow-capped mountains under the moonlight and stars also had a unique charm. Furthermore, the hotel's facilities were excellent, and the cleanliness was impeccable—even I, a very discerning person, couldn't find any fault with it.

Unexpectedly, I got upgraded to an executive king room at the Intercontinental Xishuangbanna – what a pleasant surprise! The room was spacious and elegant, with a perfect blend of Dai-Thai style and modern amenities. The bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable, and the smart bathroom, separate bathtub, and well-stocked mini-bar were all fantastic. Opening the window revealed a beautiful tropical garden, offering peace and privacy. The service was attentive, and the facilities, from the guest rooms to the public areas, were impeccable. The location is also superb: just a 20-minute drive from the airport, and conveniently close to the Gaozhuang Starlight Night Market and Manting Park. It truly offers a tranquil retreat while being close to all the action. Overall, a truly luxurious and enjoyable holiday experience!

It's also close to Dongfeng Square subway station, so transportation is a breeze. The hotel environment is clean and tidy, the room layout is comfortable, the bedding is very cozy, and the soundproofing is excellent, so it's not noisy. The front desk service was warm and attentive. Very satisfied!
