If you want to see the aurora, this hotel must be a good choice. The location is good. The staff is very friendly. The aurora wake-up service is also provided. You will call the room when you can see the aurora. Very good! It is worth it! The room is also very comfortable! The breakfast is also very rich! Very recommended!
If you want to see the aurora boreal, this hotel is surely an excellent choice! The location is excellent, staff is very nice and offers a wake-up service for the aurora boreal: they call you in the room when the aurora is visible. Fantastic! The rooms are very comfortable and breakfast is abundant.
The scenery is beautiful and faces the snow-capped mountains.
The hotel has a hot spring and is very comfortable.
The breakfast is relatively small and average (but it seems that breakfasts in Nordic hotels are like this).
Overall, it is recommended and cost-effective.
The room is spacious and comfortable, with a simple yet warm design. Opening the window, I was greeted by the magnificent Icelandic mountain scenery. The morning mist and sunlight intertwined, creating a scene from a painting. At night, the silence was complete, with the sound of the wind and the whisper of a distant waterfall. Every moment was a perfect opportunity to completely relax, immerse in the purest tranquility and beauty of nature, and truly escape from the hustle and bustle of life.
It is located in the small town of Selfoss, easy to find on the main road, with parking lot, very convenient, and there are many restaurants and supermarkets within a five-minute walk, which is suitable for replenishment and adjustment during the journey. The room facilities are complete, and it is worth recommending!
Stayed for a day in the hotel. It was very beautiful. Although the location was a little remote, the scenery was very good. The dinner was also very delicious (a little expensive). It was a pity that I didn't see the aurora, otherwise it would definitely be beautiful.
The place gave off a very country club kind of vibe, the room was well decorated, enough space to open 2 large luggages and still have some space to walk.
The bed was comfortable for the night’s rest too and the breakfast though not many options but all were delicious👍🏼
The nearest town from this accommodation was a 10-15mins drive, hence the location had a high score.
This will be my to go to accommodation when I visit Iceland again!
