The room is small, and it was still small after upgrading for an additional fee. The front desk was very helpful, and it was convenient to go out. The downstairs is connected to the mall. The SPA environment is poor, the SPA service attitude is not good, and the quality of the massage oil is not good. Because of the poor service attitude and the poor massage oil, I didn't expect it and didn't want to spend money to suffer. The Japanese dining environment is good, mainly because we booked a tatami seat, and the rigid consumption is about 450 US dollars. The three of us ate for one night and only ate about 300 US dollars. No matter what, we couldn't afford 450 US dollars. As a result, when paying the bill, we had to pay 450 US dollars, and then we were allowed to take it away. This is the first time I have encountered such a ”hard” management method of an international five-star hotel. It's just one seat, and the business is average. There are not many people. We didn't sit in that seat, so it was probably empty.
Decided to book the same hotel for our return leg after trekking in Karakol. First stay at Novotel was excellent (see my other review) but the second stay was horrible. Check in time was 3pm so we went out for lunch and got back at 3.20pm only to be told that one of the two rooms was not available. Reception staff, Zania, was rude and unapologetic and didn't even bothered to provide an estimated time. Another receptionist told us it would be about 30 mins and they would send the keys to the room. We went into the room and at 4.15pm we called the reception desk and they told us they will deliver the key in 5 mins. 10 mins have passed before the key was delivered. 5-star hotel with poor time management and bad service - no follow up on room key. Other areas were good though EXCEPT front desk staff. Staff at massage/pool were polite, so were the restaurant staff. Please educate your front desk staff especially Ms Zania, as they are the first line of service.
Good location, spacious room. All is clean and fresh.
We didn't get to breakfast because of early checkout, so can't tell anything about it.
Downside: very loud music in the restaurant below until around 21:00 (maybe not every day, but we stayed for one night only).
Overall, the hotel is good. The room is quite spacious, there is a robe and slippers. My window overlooks a construction site. The noise level is quite high. The central air conditioner is a bit of a mystery. It seems like it doesn't work as it should. Shower: the shower heads need to be changed. The top one leaks from all the cracks.
In general, everything is fine, but there are questions about cleaning, it seems that it only includes changing towels and napkins. If you rent a hotel for a week, then you don’t have to clean the shower, bathroom or toilet 🙈 Plus, the attitude of the staff at the bar in the restaurant is unclear. We specifically agreed and made an extra payment for normal coffee, but as the staff explained to us in the morning, the barista is a person of mood and every day she decides for whom and when she will make coffee, and for whom she will not. For such a hotel, this is of course a very strange position regarding the service for which we paid. Make your own coffee in an automatic coffee machine :/
It is a sad story. The hotel was awarded 4 stars, probably on the basis that it has a swimming pool. The rest is God knows what. The location is excellent, under the windows there is an eternal traffic jam and beeps. When settling, they took money for an early check-in. Everything would be fine, but first they settled, and only then they took it. They gave one card for two, and when asked to give a second one, since it’s just normal, but having one card is abnormal and inconvenient, they answered that no, they say, it’s not supposed to. ********. The toilet seat lives separately. The cabin in the shower closes halfway, because the door is simply narrower than the opening, the door to the toilet does not close at all. The air conditioner is noisy but does not ventilate. The refrigerator is just noisy. And the socket in the room is one, hidden behind the refrigerator. In general, do not expect comfort. This harsh Bishkek hotel does not exist for you to relax there, you understand. You have to be in good shape, comrades!
It is one of the few five-star hotels in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. It is located on the south ring road and is about 4 km from the hotel to the city center. From the hotel, you can easily reach the scenic spots such as Snow Mountain Park on the outskirts of the city. There are Chinese restaurants and hypermarkets not far from the hotel. Shopping and eating are very convenient.
Hotel was clean, service was great. It was good that there was a 24hr cafe, unfortunately the pilaf that we had ordered wasnt cooked well, the rice was not well cooked.

깨깨우This is a cost-effective hotel located in an area with easy access to the city center. It has a conveniently designed room for working on a laptop. Breakfast is also decent enough. There is an excellent cost-effective restaurant nearby, so if you are working in Bishkek, I recommend staying here.
