I booked a studio room for my parents and family room for my own. Both type of rooms are spacious and overlooking the sea. The view in the morning and evening are breathtakingly stunning as you get to watch the sunrise and sunset from the comfortable couch in the living room through the full view wimdows. The amneties provided in both the studio and famiky room are top notch. Great place to unwind and relax in peace.
Pros:
It’s very cheap — only around RM100 per night including tax! Really affordable and super worth it! The room is also spacious. Parking can be waived for free!
Cons:
It’s about a 20-minute drive up to Genting First World (about 10 minutes drive down from Genting to the hotel). The location is a bit far and secluded. The reception, parking, and hotel entrance are quite far apart. Every time you go out, you need to get the parking waived, change elevators, and walk quite a bit. After getting our room card and parking ticket, we had to go to the 7th floor, exit the lift, and switch to another elevator just to get to the one that leads to the rooms. We noticed it wasn’t just us — everyone seemed lost and confused. The directions and signage were really unclear. Every time we went out, someone was asking for directions.
Room & Beds are clean and neat . Budget friendly stay, Recommends to people who look for low cost home stay . Good place to spend the leisure time with families & friends. Multiple varieties of food options are available at the hotels .
We book the mountain view rooms and enjoyed the morning scenics views from balcony, mountains & forest’s are dressed with the fogs .
We face the trouble with water heater , took atleast 45 mins to get the water heated . Service staff is friendly and guided us to reach hotel safe.
Got a free upgrade and stayed at Ion Majestic, love and wanted to try the heated pool but it was under maintenance so we wouldn't be able to try.
I was a regular at Ion Delemens before I tried to book with Trip.com, so definitely will prefer and choose to stay at Ion Majestic as it has easier access than Ion Delemens.
Killer view but I guess as not a morning person, I wouldn't prefer the bright curtains in the morning😅
Overall, 5 out of 5 still.
I recently stayed at Copthorne Cameron Highlands for a short getaway. The location is great—right at Kea Farm, so it’s easy to visit nearby markets and attractions. The cool highland air is a nice bonus.
The rooms were spacious but felt a bit dated and could use some refurbishment. My bed was comfortable enough, but the carpets and furniture looked worn. The bathroom was functional, though not particularly modern. Parking was convenient, though it can get crowded and super jam on weekends.
Overall, it’s an average stay—good for the location and price if you don’t mind older facilities. A decent choice if you’re not too fussy, but there’s room for improvement in maintenance and service.
The hotel is perfectly located with stunning views of the mountains and surrounding nature – truly a serene escape. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience even more pleasant.
The apartment was very spacious and comfortably accommodated four guests per room. However, there were a few areas that could use improvement. The food options for vegetarians were quite limited, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, the bellboy service for luggage had restricted timings, which was inconvenient at times.
There was also an oversight in placing the mandatory toiletries in two of our rooms, something that could easily be addressed with better preparation in the future.
Overall, it's a great place to stay for the views and comfort, with just a few service enhancements needed.
The room is okay, not too big but not crampy. The sad thing is the room window is not giving us any good value to see for the price we have paid. But the mattress is comfy. There is small round stain on the blanket but we don’t wanna be so fussy thus we just let it go. The air-condition functioning well. The room isn’t sound proof as we can clearly hear other people’s coughing from the other room. Foods variety were okay but the taste were not really there. Some were too salty.
The big plus point for hyatt is only the beach.
We are stay for 3days2night
, living room is clean, bathroom is clean ,
Bed 👌 living room to to small less than 28inch
But no worry’s have internet WiFi 🛜
Only available is bath towels , hairdryer , iron, kettle, microwave oven, cutlery , balcony view ♥️👌super
( 🅿️parking is not free ! Charger by hours )
this is disappointment for us
Went with family. Swimming pool was under renovation but nowhere was mentioned. Rooms are ok. Water in the sea not clear so if you deside to go to this resort to enjoy swimming in the sea this is not good destination in March. Service in the hotel ok.
Berjaya Tioman Resort exceeded every expectation — a true island gem that combines natural beauty, comfort, and warm Malaysian hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with friendly smiles and a refreshing drink, instantly setting the tone for a memorable stay.
What really stood out was the impeccable service. Every staff member was courteous, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. Whether it was arranging snorkeling excursions, jungle treks, or just offering local insights, the team made us feel valued and well cared for.
If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway that still offers adventure, comfort, and incredible scenery, Berjaya Tioman Resort is the place to be.

AAnonymous UserThis property is managed by Maple Home. I’m leaving this review in the hope that it helps improve their management standards.
Based on my experience, Flash Suites has consistently offered better quality in terms of the properties they manage. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the case here.
Additionally, the key sensors at this property are not functioning properly, which affected the overall experience.
CCatherine SeatThe room got rat, the kids fall sleep so we dint ask to change room but come to catch the rat.
Thanks the team come to help us catch the rat. Even the room is sanitised but rat still there.
From the play pool to the beach very far, walking distance need 5min. So we prefer play at the pool as close at 6.45pm sharp.
Restaurant outside is nearer to the beach and easy to clean up also, so we continue beach play after dinner.
Overall the kids like the pool.
TTayThe check-in area is very confusing... Why can't they place the lobby on the ground floor of the main building together with the car park? The signage is not very clear, and customers were made to criss-cross among different buildings. The staff is not very well trained.
I have the same negative feedback from other guests when we talk in the hotel area.
Won't be staying there again. Getting to Genting Sky Arena is a big hassle and they charge you for the shuttle bus.
CCheng SiewBeautiful hotel & top notch service and location. However, some cons:
1)Need to climb up 3 flights of stairs (fm outdoor parking) - pretty impossible for handicapped guests
2) I think breakfast need to be upscaled as this is after all a luxury hotel. The food although delicious, is too ordinary & cheap. The buffet spread of just bread/pastries/cereal could be expanded. The fruits at the buffet table were also terrible - only apples & oranges and were of poor quality & grade.
GGuest UserFrom the 1st day check in, all the staffs are helpful and friendly. The scenery surround the hotel very nice, clean and cozy. The room we checked in quite spacious, cozy and chilly with nice view of mounts greeny and nature. The breakfast buffet are delicious and variety of food and we enjoyed it for the whole 3 days 2 nights. Would recommend and come again for next trip here in Century Pines Hotel.
EEeneoI travel for business meetings and stay for 3 nights. The hotel location is just opposite the shopping mall name East Coast mall by crossing the road. It is convenient to get food, coffee and dessert over there. And for the basement parking need to find hotel lobby signage for easy access to lobby. Breakfast got variety of food but normal, nothing wow. Check in and check out process kind of slow due lack of staff. Pls look into this matter as we are traveler for business and every minute is matter to us. We are in hurry.

CCrystal07227The check-in process is self-service via a machine, which was convenient but meant that room assignments were random — unfortunately, ours had no view at all.
The room itself was spacious and included a small kitchen, which is a nice touch. However, there were no utensils, plates, or bowls provided, which made the kitchen somewhat unusable. The cleanliness was also disappointing. The floor was visibly dirty, with many dead insects scattered around. I filed a complaint at 3:06 PM, but housekeeping did not arrive until 9:30 PM — only after I followed up a second time.
Another major issue was the toilet, which had a strong and unpleasant odor throughout our stay.
Prior to arrival, I called the hotel to confirm that both the adult and kids’ pools would be open. However, upon arrival, I was informed the kids’ pool was under maintenance and would reopen in an hour. We checked again the next day, and it was still closed. A different staff member then told us it had been under maintenance the entire time. This inconsistency was quite disappointing, especially since we had checked in advance.
On a positive note, the location is excellent — close to many attractions and convenient for families. I also appreciated the quality of the shampoo and body wash provided.
Overall, while the hotel has potential and a great location, the cleanliness, communication, and maintenance issues need serious improvement. I hope management takes feedback seriously to enhance future guests’ experiences.
