Location is beautiful next to a historic waterway, and can be a bit dark at night. Place is fairly old with signs of wear and tear. However every level of the building is beautifully decorated and coveys the rich chinese culture and heritage in a tasteful way. Room had issues with hot water, and toilet was tiny so not recommended to close door for tall people. However the distance to the high speed rail and subway is extremely convenient, and with cheap food delivery the experience is still overall good.

I would call this hotel the best place in Suzhou! Staying in a hotel is about comfort and hospitality, and this hotel gives both 100%. Location. Extremely near to Shilu station, take exit 12, there is an elevator, as well. All major sightseeing spots are walking distance. Staff. Reception 24/7, all staff is friendly and most of them can speak English on a sufficient level, or with a mobile phone translation app. Rooms. We were traveling 2 adults and 3 kids, so booked 2 rooms. Hotel provided rooms very near and even changed one room, that was more convenient for staying with infant. Staying in rooms with a futon was an interesting experience. The hairdryer and all amenities provided are surprisingly high quality on a level of a posh hotel. Breakfasts. This is very special about this hotel. The variety of dishes (including ramen and mochi daily) is great and food is very very tasty, sending many thanks to the cooking staff. Additional facilities. Washing room with 2 washing machines and 2 drying machines helped to stay comfortable with clean clothes every day, that is important in a hot weather. Afternoon tea is a nice treat from hotel, when you can skip daytime hot period in a cool space. Overall the hotel is stylish and the convenience of the guests is thought out to the smallest detail. I highly recommend this hotel for staying in Suzhou.

The room is large, smart, and very clean. You can see that the boss is really attentive. I stayed in the room for two nights and it was quiet. The TV projection was great and everything was available. It is a stone's throw away from Dongguan Street Pedestrian Street and Geyuan Garden. The location is very convenient. The boss is very nice and enthusiastic. He gave us a lot of very pertinent suggestions, which saved us a lot of detours on our trip. The boss is also very good to the children, and the children also like Xu Family Courtyard. 👍

This little hotel is so convenient to get to all the best spots in Suzhou - it’s a couple of steps from PingJiang Rd, a few minutes from Xiangmen subway station and a good walk from Suzhou Museum. The room was beautifully warm when we checked in late at night. Breakfast is different every morning with impeccable service - 9 small items, some congee, a yogurt and tea/coffee as you wish. The bathroom is well-equipped with amenities and toiletries (dental kit, shower caps, shampoo/conditioner/body wash). Huge bathtub in the shower room also! Xiao Zhang is an absolute gem, she let us change rooms when we had a small issue with the staircase in our room. All the staff are friendly and helpful if you have questions about Suzhou tourist spots! The tatami mattress is quite solid on the upper floor so please be careful if you have mobility issues. The king bed on the ground floor is fluffy and gives a great sleep. Would love to stay here again and will be recommending friends to book here in the future.

The hotel's sanitary facilities are very satisfactory. The room is spacious and comfortable, just like home. The No. 2 subway station is convenient and convenient. The stay experience is very good. I will patronize it next time I go to Wuxi

At Tongli metro station, there is a tram that takes one to the beautiful ancient Tongli (Use the bus tab instead of subway for this leg in your app). Upon arrival, after contacting Xu (Lanyun manager), he has been passionately helpful, picking up our luggage as we explore the beautiful town. He was friendly and replied readily to our every need, like recommending good eating places, which definitely helped facilitate our vacation here. The room is more beautiful than the pictures, with its harmonious oriental room design and well coordinating decor and colours. The facilities are adequate to our needs, hot water, wi-fi, clean towels, and decent location. We loved our time here, the pretty courtyard in front of the room, the warmth of the hotel manager, the tastefully design of our room, the vibe of this quiet beautiful old town and the enjoyable boat ride! Upon departure, the manager sent us off in his motor vehicle, beginning and ending this trip hassle-free. Wholeheartedly recommended. (Note: entry to the ancient town is free after 5pm but you won't get to enter a few of the tourist spots and access to all of Tongli during the day. Ticket is 100rmb per adult. )

The hotel is at perfect location of the ancient town, well decorated and large rooms with beautiful view directly to the canal. We book a duplex room which is perfect for 4 persons, with a big balcony which is very chill to sit there drinking tea and watch nice view surrounding. The host is very friendly and helpful. Especially there is a family restaurant at opposite site, owner is the hotel host's sister, you can taste all the best food of Zhouzhuang here in a family like atmosphere. We have travelled from Shanghai to Wuzhen, then from Wuzhen to Zhouzhuang, also spend a day to Suzhou which is about 50 minutes by car from Zhouzhuang, among all these places we find Zhouzhuang is the best water ancient town, it is a must visit place if you like the water ancient towns in China.
