My daughter, son, and I stayed in the family room. We were very satisfied; both the exterior and interior were very unique, and the room was spotlessly clean. It had a wonderful charm. There was also a large bathtub, equipped with a bath liner, which was very hygienic. The only drawback was that the shower area wasn't private enough, which is something that could be improved for guests' privacy, even among family. Also, when checking in, it would be helpful to remind guests if they haven't purchased breakfast and ask if they'd like to, just to refine the service a bit more. However, overall, we were very satisfied. They proactively asked if I had a car and if I needed a parking voucher, and they reimbursed my parking fee. Very good indeed, and the tall lady working there had excellent service attitude.

Today, I booked a Treehouse at the West District of Sandi Tribe, located within the Sandi Wildlife Park. We arrived at the Sandi Hotel front desk at 9:30 AM for check-in. After facial recognition, we received unlimited access to both the Wildlife Park and the Ice and Snow Ocean Park for two days, along with unlimited rides on the hotel shuttle.
We started with the Sandi Wildlife Park, as it closes at 5 PM. The Ice World closes at 6 PM, and the Ocean Park stays open until 8 PM.
First, we took the Sandi Circular Journey small train to explore the drive-through section. Afterward, we boarded a sightseeing bus that stopped at 12 different stations for the walking areas. We watched a sea lion show and participated in a cute pet interaction. At 2 PM, we upgraded to VIP seats for the International Grand Circus, sitting right in the middle of the first row. Most of the female performers were Russian, while many of the male performers were very dark-skinned, resembling Filipinos. The show featured acrobatics, dancing, and magic. During an interactive segment, the Monkey King touched my arm, and a clown handed me a balloon. After the circus, we saw red pandas, Thai elephants, giant pandas, and long-tailed monkeys. The zookeeper was feeding the long-tailed monkeys various fruits like carrots, apples, bananas, and grapes – what a comprehensive diet for the monkeys!
Time flew by! Before we knew it, it was 5 PM, so we headed to check into our room. Hotel guests receive a complimentary shuttle service to their respective hotel reception lobbies. Since Dream Island and Sandi Tribe were fully booked, we could only secure the West District Tribe Treehouse. The terrace right outside our treehouse overlooked a vast expanse of grassland, where giraffes and zebras are brought in at night, but camels and alpacas roam freely.
Next, we rushed to the Ice and Snow Park. Helmets and winter coats were provided free of charge at the entrance. Inside, there were ice slides, ice carousels, a penguin house, and ice sculptures. The little penguins were so chubby and adorable. Since it closed at 6 PM, we were quickly ushered out after a brief play.
By then, only the Ocean Park was still open. We walked through the underwater tunnel and watched a mermaid show. We also enjoyed the flying bus, carousel, bumper cars, and 3D rocking ride. There was so much more we didn't have time to fully explore or appreciate before closing, so we had to head back to the hotel for the night.
It's clear that with the Sandi Wildlife Park and the Sandi Ice and Snow Ocean Park combined, you really need two days to experience everything properly.
Tomorrow, I plan to take a closer look at the animals in the zoo, catch the shows I missed today, and also see the performances and diverse marine life exhibits at the Ice and Snow Ocean Park, and take a ride on the Ferris wheel.

I booked this place after seeing the great reviews on Trip.com, and it really lived up to them. It's super close to the ancient town's archway ticket gate, so it was quite easy to find after getting dropped off by taxi. The soundproofing is excellent; it was very quiet at night, and I slept really well. The room was also very spacious, and it was lovely to relax on the small balcony in the afternoon with some tea and sunshine. The owners, a couple, were incredibly kind. They helped us with our luggage both when we arrived and when we left, and even gave me a bag of local specialties. Their dog is adorable too! I highly recommend staying here when you visit Zhouzhuang.

This is a great Republic of China-era hotel, tucked away in a quiet spot yet still central. The courtyard is very unique, and the hotel's location is excellent. It's about 800 meters from popular attractions like Geyuan Garden, Heyuan Garden, Dongguan Street, Pishi Street, Dongguan Ancient Ferry, and Xing Street – all within easy reach. There are also plenty of dining options; the famous Erchun Fried Rice is right next door, and old brands like Fuchun Teahouse, Maopailou, and Gonghechun are all nearby. It's incredibly convenient for an after-dinner stroll. The service is excellent, and the rooms are clean and hygienic. Located at the entrance of a small alley, it's wonderfully peaceful and beautiful. If time permits, brewing a pot of tea and sitting in the courtyard to soak in the 'slow Yangzhou' vibe would be truly delightful!

The B&B's location is fantastic, within walking distance of Dongguan Street and Pishi Street. We passed by numerous national, provincial, and city-level protected historical sites, and the B&B itself is one of them – what a privilege to stay in a salt commissioner's former residence! Despite being in a bustling area, the hotel itself is quite peaceful, free from tourist noise. The small courtyard is lovely, perfect for a large family outing, where you can book two rooms and share a private courtyard. Breakfast is served at a neighboring partner restaurant with beautiful garden scenery, though it was a bit crowded during the Qingming Festival. The B&B's service was impeccable; they provided a special children's toiletries kit, and we even received Yangzhou University yogurt upon check-in. Every staff member was incredibly friendly, and they even helped us pack items we'd forgotten when we checked out.

Location: The location is absolutely fantastic! The subway is super convenient right outside the hotel. The closest exit is Shanghai Road Exit 6b, and it's just a two or three-minute walk. There are also lots of great food options downstairs, making it incredibly easy to get to attractions. Plus, many delivery services are available.
Room Amenities: It's very clean, truly spotless!!! No strange hairs, no yellowed bed sheets, and no odor in the bathroom. A germaphobe's dream. The only minor thing is that water tends to get tracked out of the bathroom easily; perhaps a bath mat could be added. Next time I visit Nanjing, I'm definitely booking a room with a window! I forgot to take pictures of the room, but it looks exactly like the promotional photos. I just don't have a good sense of square footage, so I was a bit surprised by the size when I saw it in person, but it's still perfectly comfortable for one person.
Service: Both the owner and the cleaning staff are incredibly warm, friendly, and dedicated!

This homestay left a deep impression on me. The environment is clean and tidy, the room is spotless, and the stay is very safe. There is an elegant teahouse in the public area, and there is a small tea in the afternoon, which has a special flavor. The boss is particularly enthusiastic, not only taking the initiative to help parking, but also enthusiastically introducing the surrounding attractions, so that the journey feels warm. The overall experience far exceeds expectations and is a recommended choice for staying.
Cleaning service should be improved. When you arrive in the room it is clear that they do not deep clean between one client and the other, cause the floors are not clean, there is dust, spider webs and there is heavy dirt in the corners of the room and behind the bathroom.
Prp: the bed of the room I got was very comfy and soft. The room had a closet to store my clothes, and a big desk that was very convenient for me. The area around the building is very lively with a lot of restaurants and it's quite near the subway and train station (walking distance around 10-15 min).
Cons:They should decide if they want you to provide an apartment or hotel service, they are not very clear what their aim is since they don't provide hotel service for short stays (like daily cleaning, they only take the rubbish but don't cleam bathroom and floors) but not even apartment service for longer stays (such as dish soap or a pot to cook, or things to clean the apartment on your own). They provide kitchen and washing machine with no cleaning products or kitchen appliances, not even soap to wash the mugs they provide (that were dirty). The people who work at the reception are friendly but completely disorganised. The first day I was locked out three times from my room cause they could not provide me with a proper keycode and finally gave me a key which I had to sit on the floor to open each time cause it was the emergency key of the electronic dial thing that there is on the door.
One day I came back and the cleaning lady took out my electricity card even if I had food in the fridge that could have gone bad. They said that I should not use electricity and the A/C too much otherwise I should have paid more. They never stated this nor on the website or in person.
After not providing me with good service, theh repeatedly asked me to give them good reviews and send them a screenshot of a 5 stars review, instead of asking me how to improve their service.
Overall, when I booked the price was worth it but I would not book it again now that the price is more expensive.

I was very satisfied! I traveled to Tongli by myself, and the owner sent a very detailed guide. There was even a video demonstrating how to use the water heater in the room. They also recommended many great places to eat nearby and provided a map of Tongli Ancient Town. The service was incredibly thoughtful. The guesthouse is also located in the heart of Tongli Ancient Town, very close to the Three Bridges scenic area and many restaurants. Since the stone paths inside can be difficult to walk on, the owner even drove to pick me up at the entrance of the ancient town, which was fantastic and very considerate! 👍 Overall, I highly recommend it. Here's a money-saving tip: if you're staying for two days, you can enter the ancient town after 5 PM to get in for free, then explore the scenic area the next day. 🤫

SStanley The Travel ManI arrived in pouring rain. I thought I could walk to my hotel but it was impossible in the downpour. I didn’t want to bother any hotel owner. I didn’t and still don’t have an eSIM that can make local call but thanks to Trip.com, there is a link that I could call the owner for free. I didn’t advise the owners my arrival time so they were off running errands. I called the owner to pick me up and thankfully he answered. He was busy but gracious enough to turn around and picked me up. It knew Zhouhuang requires a ticket but I didn’t know that no cars, nor motorcycles, nor bicycles are allowed. Without him I would have arrived the hotel easily.
I always like to meet the owners instead of employees . They were very helpful and answered all my questions. They are honest people who dedicate their blood and sweat to their business. The owner even offered to walk me to the bus stop to Suzhou which was my next destination.
This operates two hotels with 9 in one and 6 in the other. The one that I stayed in with 9 rooms is in a lively and busy area . Just outside the hotel is a restaurant and there are plenty of places to eat. Inside the hotel is a peaceful oasis where you won’t hear any noise. The location is the best. The other hotel is in a quieter neighborhood a few minutes away. Each of the 15 rooms has it’s own personality, is different and has its distinctive decoration. The owners said they decorated them themselves. I love the decoration and especially the lighting.
After you reserve a room, be sure to contact the owner for the exact address in case you want to arrive on your own. I think it is best to request the owner to take you there because he/she will lead you to the ticket booth to buy tickets. There are a number of bridges so heavy big luggages can be a bit of a challenge . If you arrive after 5 pm, you can enter free of charge as no one is there to check your ticket. . But once you are inside, and if you choose to leave the area after 8 or 9 am until 5 pm, you have to pay to come back in. You can buy a one day or in my case 3 days pass. Do check with the owner for up to date information.
The room was quite clean. There were hot water all the time. There were other guests during my stay but they were not noisy at all. I barely heard them. I slept very well during my 3 nights there.
Zhouhuang is really beautiful. There are many canals, bridges, boat rides, good food of all kinds. I had some of the best meals there. In fact , I ate in the same restaurant that serves dumpling twice. One night I had grill (BBQ) meat just outside the entrance for 4 yuans. . There is decent size supermarket just outside the turnstile and not too far away is a much bigger supermarket. It was there where I bought half a Peking duck for only 32 yuans . The seller sliced the meat and separated the meat from the bones. The bones he fried so it was crunchy. It was delicious. There is a theater that offers performances.
The night view is great. If you step out your room, you will be overwhelmed in a good sense by the exciting surroundings.
This hotel definitely is one of the best that I have ever stayed in. Look at the beautiful pictures and find one that you like.
I stayed only 3 nights and one of those days I went to Tongli. In my opinion, one should spend at least 2 to 3 full days in Zhouhuang (and especially this hotel ) savor the ambience. I don’t think Tongli is worth the time because it was twice as expensive and there are not that many canals and boat rides. It is much quieter and has fewer things to see. . The worst is that the sightseeing places require you to show your ticket. After 2 places, I lost mine ticket and I couldn’t get in the rest of the places. It is unnecessary to require proof of entrance because you can’t enter the area without a ticket.
GGuest UserThe room was very comfortable, and the location is excellent. It's just across the street from the Laomendong scenic area. What's great is that while Laomendong is bustling with people, the inn itself is quiet. You can easily pop back to rest whenever you get tired from walking. The owner is incredibly enthusiastic and gave us great recommendations for Nanjing's food, attractions, and itineraries.
GGuest UserThe hotel is elegantly decorated, the rooms are warm and comfortable, and the bedding is soft and clean. The service staff is enthusiastic, professional and meticulous. The food is rich and delicious, the transportation is convenient, and the overall experience exceeds expectations. I highly recommend it!

GGuest UserI always choose to stay here whenever I'm in Wuxi, and it's consistently a fantastic experience. The front desk service is excellent and attentive, the rooms are spotlessly clean, and the facilities are well-equipped. This is my absolute go-to for accommodation in Wuxi! Highly recommend!
LlschungDuring our recent stay at this wonderful hotel, we were exceptionally satisfied with every aspect of our experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the hotel staff who came out to meet us at the scenic area entrance and assisted with our luggage. This level of service set the tone for our entire visit.
The hotel's décor is stunning, creating a serene and visually pleasing environment. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed, providing a restful haven where we enjoyed a comfortable night's sleep. It truly is a fantastic place to relax and unwind.
One of the highlights of our stay was the delightful afternoon tea, particularly the grain snacks which were so delicious that we requested the hotel staff to help purchase and courier some to Shanghai for us to bring home. Their willingness to accommodate our request added a special touch to our experience.
Breakfast at the hotel was another standout. The porridge, in particular, was so delectable that the hotel kindly gave us a pack of the rice used to prepare it. This gesture was much appreciated and spoke volumes about their commitment to guest satisfaction.
Overall, our stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable and pleasant retreat. If we return to this area, we will undoubtedly choose to stay here again.

You can have hot pot in the courtyard.
The room is close to the bamboo grove and has a small balcony, making it quite comfortable.
The service is excellent; when it's not busy, the owner is happy to help with luggage.
The breakfast is simple and home-style, and the auntie is very helpful.
The welcome fruit is also a thoughtful touch.
YYaoxiaomiParking nearby is very convenient and inexpensive. The room is incredibly well-designed, and from the master bedroom balcony, you have a direct view of Nanjing South Railway Station. The small tea room is thoughtfully equipped with a complete gongfu tea set, tea leaves, and bottled Nongfu Spring water.
The common area features a large calligraphy desk with brushes, ink, paper, and inkstones, perfect for scripture copying, enjoying incense, or savoring a cup of tea. You can also relax on the sofa with a book. It truly is a versatile aesthetic experience space. I found myself working at the calligraphy desk in the afternoon, basking in the sun with a cup of tea, and my productivity soared. When I felt tired, I'd just recline on the sofa, and if I was sleepy, I'd take a nap. The surroundings are incredibly quiet, which is a huge plus for a light sleeper like me. I'll definitely choose this place for my future business trips.
There are also plenty of dining options nearby, including local specialties like duck blood vermicelli soup and chicken broth dumplings. Lele Street offers a wide array of bubble tea and dessert shops, as well as barbecue stalls and other snacks.
