Homestays in Shan, Myanmar

Hillock villa is walking distance to local market of Kalaw and close to the click tower. They serve an awesome breakfast in the garden if the weather allows! The beds are comfortable, and the room is spacious with one double and one single bed. The bathroom had a bathtub, but to take a shower was a bit hard as the shower hose was not very long for us tall foreigners 😉 Parking can be a challenge as the road is steep and the parking place is not big enough to easily turn your car. We enjoyed our stay very much and for sure book again next time in Kalaw!

Golden Kalaw Inn is walking distance from the local market (every 5 days). The room is spacious and has 3 single beds and every thing you need. Beds are clean but a bit hard according to western standard. Only big towel is provided and no towel to dry your feet coming out of the shower. The internet is good and the manager made sure that there was power all the time. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Service and amenities are okay

feels good! Very special, breakfast is à la carte, homemade yogurt with honey, banana 🍌 is picked in the yard, they are particularly delicious. Especially in the nearby hot springs recommended for the next day and a half, the outdoor is very good.
