I recently stayed at Amarah Hotel and had a wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, courteous, and always ready to assist. The check-in process was smooth and quick, setting a positive tone for my stay. The room was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed — comfortable beds, fresh linens, a strong Wi-Fi connection, and a spacious bathroom. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches like complimentary bottled water and toiletries. One of the highlights of Amarah Hotel was the ambiance — modern yet homey, creating a perfect place to relax after a busy day. The restaurant served delicious food, with a good variety of dishes at reasonable prices. Breakfast was especially satisfying, with both local and international options available. Location-wise, the hotel is conveniently situated near key spots, making it easy to explore the area. Transportation was accessible, and there were shops and cafes nearby. Overall, I highly recommend Amarah Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable, and memorable stay. I’m looking forward to coming back again!

Ferra Resort is a great option if you want to stay slightly away from the busy center of General Luna while still being close enough to everything. It’s about 7 minutes by scooter and located in a nice area near the beach, although I didn’t go into the sea during my stay. The hut was very spacious and comfortable, with a mosquito net over the bed and pleasant lighting in the bedroom, creating a cozy atmosphere. The bathroom was very large, with warm water, good-quality towels, and plenty of space. The resort features a brand new pool, which was a nice highlight, and pool towels are available. During the visit, a restaurant was still under construction, and the overall experience was slightly impacted by ongoing works and workers extending the property. The internet connection was good, and the overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Nearby resorts were a bit loud at times, which might have been due to the Christmas period. The staff were very friendly and attentive—I was able to ask for free coffee several times without any issues. A nice extra was the private water dispenser in the bathroom, available free of charge. Overall, a very pleasant stay, and I would definitely come again.

Housing is normal. I can't say it's great. But it'll go for my money. Hot water is there. Locations are good. In other reviews I saw that the road is bad to the hotel. I want to say my opinion, yes it is not very good but you don't forget where you are ! It is an island a village. Here 70% bad roads. But on a moped without problems you can get to the hotel. There is a 500-peas pledge.

The only downside is that it is not close to the surfing beach and needs to ride a motorcycle. The service was good and the room was great.

Pros: Great location, convenient for commuting to the city or surfing (5-10 minute motorbike ride). Restaurants nearby, convenient for dining. Friendly and attentive service. Clean room. Cons: King room faces the street, which can be quite noisy, especially with motorcycles at night. We recommend booking a suite that doesn't face the street. The downstairs building is still under renovation, so it can be quite noisy in the afternoons.
