Homestays in Braga District, Portugal

Casa de Santa Comba is absolutely lush. The staff are very relaxed and flexible, having to arrive late was no problem, and they were very accommodating of us at breakfast as were vegetarian and there aren’t many vegetarians in Portugal! They were also very accommodating when we requested a fridge for our wine. The building and surrounding estate is beautiful, with lots of animals around – geese, horses, dogs, swallows, fish in the ponds – and lots of lemon trees bursting with fruit and beautiful flower bushes everywhere. A dreamy place, would love to stay here again. Will miss the bright morning song of the canary in their office which you can hear from the breakfast room!

Quite good for pilgrims, so i would recommend it for the stay during the camino, the lady who served breakfast was precious!

The room needs to be small, but it can be very good. Almost all the attractions are walked downstairs. There are many foods nearby. Although there are not many brands of breakfast in the hotel, it is very exquisite.

Estupenda estancia. Una casa con una rehabilitación formidable, cuidando todos los detalles y manteniendo su encanto. La piscina es estupenda, y además cuenta con parking, mucha tranquilidad y un desayuno excelente. Un lugar perfecto para disfrutar de unos días de descanso. Sin duda, muy recomendable.
