Nyon Hostels

We stayed in Nyon during our tour of Switzerland. It's super nice little town on the shore of lake Geneva. We loved the atmosphere there, especially in the old town. We chose the B&B to sleep for budgetary reason but let tell you, we were very surprised by the quality of the hotel. Very cozy lobby with a terrace and a TV area, nice comfy rooms with real AC (the first one we encounter in Switzerland) and of course a wonderful team! Those guys are always smiling ! Cherry on the cake, the parking was free ! Trust me this makes the difference, in Geneva we had to pay CHF 35.- per day!

The hotel is located just near the train station, only 2 minutes walking from there so very easy and convenient. It is also located 2 minutes from the city center and 8 minutes from the Geneva lake. It is surrounded by restaurants so it's very easy to get food and I suggest trying out the Italian restaurant Luigia right below the hotel and the Cactus Jack bar to the right of it. The room is very well equipped with everything you need, looking new and maintained, the kitchen has all the basic things you need to cook for yourself. The TV has hundreds of channels in all languages and also movies that changes on a daily basis. The bed is very comfortable and nice and the hotel staff clean your room on a daily basis. The shower is very clean and good. The hotel staff are very nice and always willing to help you with any request you may have. The 5th floor balcony has a nice view but not a lot of drinks variety so I would recommend spending time in outside bars and get the vibes of this small beautiful city. The free Wi-Fi is very fast and stable! They also have a gym and a laundry room and bicycle room for your service in the basement floor. They offer a breakfast box with basic ingredients but I would recommend going to the grocery store which is 2 minutes walk and buy your own choices. Excellent service, excellent location and very good room, will definitely come back for another stay there!

The Ambassador Boutique Hotel in Nyon is located only 5 minutes walk from the train station so it's very easy to get there by feet. It's also located right in the center and only 7 minutes walk from the lake Geneva. The hotel is very small and cozy, the staff are really nice and speak English fluently. The room is well equipped with everything that you need and the housekeeping is cleaning your room on a daily basis every morning without the need to ask for it. The view from the hotel on the lake is absolutely stunning. The free Wi-Fi is very good, fast and stable which is surprising! Breakfast is ok, not a lot of variety but good enough for a short morning meal before the day start. The same restaurant at the evening offers a much better menu. The room also has TV with channels in many different languages around the globe and it also has air conditioning which is important for hot and moist days. The shower is clean, new and comfortable and the water pressure is excellent. The bed is good enough, the pillows I would change though and also during the weekend there might be some noise from the main road but nothing too serious. I'll definitely return back to this hotel on my next visit to Nyon!

The hotel is a very good hotel, and it is a very good hotel. We have the experience menu at 85CHF, it is indicated ”by the inspiration of the head” but in fact it is a mix of the different dishes offered on the map. The price remains advantageous for all drop. The dishes are served in good quantities, We finished the stomach well full!! :D Servers are sympathetic and dynamic, listening and reactive, the dishes are chaining well we haven't had too much wait. - The point that left us mild on this evening was the location of our table, I had asked when booking a table with direct view of the vines (comprehensible on the balustrade) but we were placed on a table in 2nd rank , with a plexi pile in front of us destroying the view of the lake... all other tables As I still was empty I asked to be placed elsewhere I was answered ”all customers ask us these tables you can't satisfy everyone they are reserved” what I understand, but 30 minutes later we realized that servers started placing people / knowledge to them on the best tables because of ”no show* , so we had the impression that we were a little armored about the placement ...result we are The boards of the boards were empty all nights ... Understand our frustration. Potential clients who will never come may be!
