The house design is beautiful, but the location is a bit far unless you have a car. The guesthouse serves food, and you can mingle with other guests. You can also play with the cats, though be careful with the three-legged one. The room is clean and comfortable.

You will feel comfy and relaxed, like sitting and slaying at your home. We're 4 pax and stayed 1 night, but feel hommy and humble in everything here. Our room can fit 4-6 pax. Pls enjoy here if you love English country style!!

Trip.com has always been my go to for travel bookings. Similarly this time to Niseko, decided to extend for an additional week and MyEcolodge came up in the search. I have to mention the checkin was seamless, but what I thought i booked, vastly differ from what was allocated for me. I thought what i booked was a room to myself however it turns out as a shared room. Its not a big deal but the feeling of misinterpretation leaves an awful taste. (Trip.com CS stepped in and helped to clarify things but theres nothing that could be done. peak season, and everywhere else is fully booked or without paying a premium) That said, the stay was good. MyEcolodge sits in a very convenient location just couple stops from Hirafu. Theres various buses including free shutters so thats really an ease off the mind) 7eleven, a small cafe, hotpot/shabushabu restaurant just sits across from you. The hostel also has their own cafeteria though ive never eaten there (food looks good though). They have a huge storage room for your gears, pretty safe so no worries. pantry, laundry room, washroom are pretty spacious and kept tidy. The room itself is fine, nothing to wow about. nothing to complain either. Towels are free and clean. Everything else you need to pay. Overall good stay. Pray hard you get nice room mates if youre sharing!

This hostel has a great location. Hokkaido University, with its excellent museum, is just a short walk north – I'd highly recommend checking it out. However, the room I stayed in had 20 beds on one floor, so if you're a light sleeper or sensitive to noise, you might want to look elsewhere. It's really more suited as a cheap, temporary place to crash.

The family-style room was spacious, with an attic. The room had a refrigerator, and the shower and toilet were separate. It was very clean, odorless, and quiet. There was a laundry room and dryer. Other Japanese tourists were staying there that day. The owner was very kind and helpful, and could arrange pick-up and drop-off at the station or the hot spring town. In the evening, we took a boat to watch the fireworks, which ended around 9:20 PM. The owner was also very helpful and picked us up at that time. There are three hiking trails next to the hotel, two of which are shorter, each taking about half an hour round trip. In the early morning, we hiked slowly to the Kinpira Crater Observatory and encountered a wild sika deer. We observed each other curiously and cautiously for a moment, and then it suddenly turned and jumped into the roadside bushes and disappeared – a pleasant surprise! The owner said there are actually many deer in the area. From the observation deck, you can see Lake Toya, the hot spring town, and a small crater surrounded by green mountains. The owner warmly invited us to come back in winter, as the snow scenery would be even more stunning.

Stayed two nights at this hostel. The room was clean and quite spacious. We were a little surprised that we had to put on the bed sheet liners ourselves, but we understood that it is part of the hostel’s culture and regulations, so it was fine for us. The shared toilets were clean and well maintained for all guests. However, the main disappointment was that the hostel’s air conditioning was not working properly on the second night, unlike the first night. The room became very humid and stuffy, making it difficult for us to fall asleep even after informing the hostel reception.

The bed and room were very clean, the air just got a bit stuffy sometimes, since there were a lot of people sleeping and the window didn't open. Also, the womens only dormitory is on the same floor as other rooms with shared showers and bathroom. For the location, it is a few minutes to the nearest subway station, but there is a supermarket close by and I found some nice restaurants in walking distance. The staff was super nice and helpful everytime I asked something and there are two areas to chill, eat or work. So I can definetly recommend staying there :)

The bed area was comfy and spacious, however on my second night I was staying there, I think the AC was turned off because it became really hot and humid inside the room and it was cooler out in the hallway than inside the dorm, which made it really hard to sleep. Cleanliness was not the best. The hallway leading to the hotel entrance was literally black with dirt, as if nobody had ever passed a mop there. People were also allowed to bring their outdoor shoes into the dorm, so the floors were not very clean. Don’t think they ever cleaned any of the floors with soap, but they did make sure the sheets were fresh and clean for new guests (I saw them do it), and they did pick up trash on the floor every day. Kitchen was minimal. There was no stove but there was a microwave and a sink but no cups or bowls if you planned to cook or eat there. There was a space under the beds to store your shoes which was nice. Overall, for the price and the location, it was worth it and I would return.

This was truly the best accommodation. Even during the Snow Festival, it was comfortable and pleasant to stay here (on weekdays). The capsule interior is spacious enough for a sturdy man to sleep comfortably, and there's a dedicated 110V outlet for charging. The property features an izakaya, mahjong tables, recliner rooms, a manga cafe, and a bathhouse with a sauna, all of which are of considerable quality. To use these facilities, you must wear the designated clothing provided. Toothbrushes, towels, and clothing can be received free of charge whenever you need them. Overall, perhaps because it's male-only, I was able to stay in a quiet atmosphere. However, occasionally there are female staff members who enter and exit the bathhouse for scrubbing or cleaning, so there's no need to be alarmed. If you request breakfast the day before, it costs 1000 yen; without a prior request, it's 1400 yen. The breakfast includes fish, meat, fried items, curry, drinks, dessert, and even crab. Finally, regarding the location: it's near Susukino Station, the largest entertainment district, making most restaurants and attractions easily accessible (Nikka billboard, Don Quijote, entertainment venues). Also, Odori Park is right nearby, making it perfect for enjoying the Snow Festival, and it's close to Sapporo Station, which is convenient for day trips to the outskirts. There's really no need to book a business hotel; for this price, this place is quite remarkable.
