Location: close to Susukino Station, just a few steps away, and not far from Odori Station and Sapporo Station either, so it’s good. Cleanliness: normal Japan hostel standard. It’s clean even though a lot of people stayed. but you can’t compare it to a normal hotel staff: nothing special, they just do their job, I guess facilities: the common area is GOLD✨, has a lot of workspace, is clean, and also has the charger. It’s also well decorate! it’s also have elevator! Summary: It's a good option, and compared to the price, it's nice. will definitely go back! Good to know: some rooms have a lot of people, like 30 beds, but are still silent, and the privacy is not bad. The hostel also has a medium side locker inside the personal bed area

This hostel is on the pricier side, and the shower water temperature is inconsistent. It's really inconvenient having to walk through the kitchen and common area, past everyone, just to get to the bathroom. Many residents seem to live here permanently, with their belongings scattered all over the floor. It's not a very welcoming place for travelers just staying a short while.

The three of us stayed in a quad room with bunk beds. It was a bit small, but the beds were large and very comfortable, similar to what you'd find in a YHA, making it great for families and friends traveling together. The common areas were a real highlight; I enjoyed sitting there alone for a while when I couldn't sleep, sipping tea or coffee – it was lovely. Excellent value for money, perfect for budget-conscious travelers.

Sparkling clean although understand a reason for that is that you can’t cook here or even use their cutlery. They just supply some cups (though there is a kitchen sink on the top floor by the fridge). This place doesn’t really have a lounge. A problem with sharing the ground floor lounge with a cafe is that when I’m sitting there a cafe waitress comes by expecting me to order something.

There is a wood burning to the heating stove at the entrance on the first floor of the homestay. It really feels a little ”untapped”. The homestay is divided into two parts, and the back should be more upscale! Because I didn't really enter it, I just took a photo outside. The homestay attaches great importance to details. Guests who are afraid of cold can freely take hot water bags and cover them with towels and coats very carefully. If you have the opportunity to see the real experience!

My friend and I stayed together, and the room was considerably more spacious than expected. As is typical for many Japanese hotels, the bathroom is smaller than those in Korean hotels, but it was not a major inconvenience. The bar on the first floor sells drinks at reasonable prices, and all the staff were very friendly. Accessibility to the center of Susukino is also good.

I really experienced the style of a Japanese homestay here, especially the children are very excited about tatami. The room is very spacious, there is also a loft, you can sleep on it and below, and you can make your own bed and fold the quilt. Although it is not a hotel, the floor, carpet, bathroom, mattress, quilt... are very clean. There is heating in the house, although it looks small, but the energy is very big. The store is a short distance from Hot Spring Street, about 40 minutes walk, snowy road in winter, it is not recommended to walk, you can do bus to arrive, the station is at the door, there is a timetable in the corridor on the first floor for reference. When returning at night, the boss is very intimate to pick up the car, you can call in advance or agree on the time and place in advance. The boss is very very nice, very friendly, and the owner's mother (a kind old grandmother) who lives next to the hotel is also very good. We arrived early in the morning. The grandmother did not let us check in at 3 pm like other hotels, but kept saying that the weather was cold and let me go directly to the room. In the afternoon, she personally sent us to Hot Spring Street. I was very touched. 👍👍👍 The next morning, because there was no suitable bus, the boss took the initiative to send us to the station, which made us very touched 👍 In short, if you are tired of staying in a hotel, want to experience Japanese life and feel the warmth of ”home”, you can come here. highly recommended

There was an issue with my capsule hotel booking, and to top it off, Sapporo experienced heavy snowfall, causing the JR airport line to shut down. By the time I finally made it to the city center, the subway and buses had stopped running. Luckily, I spontaneously booked this place, and it's within walking distance of Sapporo JR Station. Given the price, I didn't have high expectations. I just pulled the curtain, put in my earplugs, and slept soundly until morning. It's a decent option for a solo traveler needing a last-minute overnight stay.

Excellent! It has a very hostel-like vibe with comfortable common areas where I could chat with other travelers in the evenings. The staff were also very friendly, engaging in conversations and recommending great attractions and restaurants. This hostel is a must-stay for travelers who enjoy interacting with others.

For what it is, a cabin/hostel, it’s well done. The rooms clean, staff helpful. What makes this place stand out though is their sauna tent. At first I was in doubt how good this could be, but with the wood stove, the forest smelling steam, the resting areas and the cold pool, it made it actually one of the best sauna experiences in Japan. Seldom do you get to do your own Löyly like that. Not a lot in the neighbourhood though (in summer), so for us one night was perfect.

YYEN SINThe house design is beautiful, but the location is a bit far unless you have a car. The guesthouse serves food, and you can mingle with other guests. You can also play with the cats, though be careful with the three-legged one. The room is clean and comfortable.

WwaynethepaintTrip.com has always been my go to for travel bookings. Similarly this time to Niseko, decided to extend for an additional week and MyEcolodge came up in the search. I have to mention the checkin was seamless, but what I thought i booked, vastly differ from what was allocated for me. I thought what i booked was a room to myself however it turns out as a shared room. Its not a big deal but the feeling of misinterpretation leaves an awful taste. (Trip.com CS stepped in and helped to clarify things but theres nothing that could be done. peak season, and everywhere else is fully booked or without paying a premium) That said, the stay was good. MyEcolodge sits in a very convenient location just couple stops from Hirafu. Theres various buses including free shutters so thats really an ease off the mind) 7eleven, a small cafe, hotpot/shabushabu restaurant just sits across from you. The hostel also has their own cafeteria though ive never eaten there (food looks good though). They have a huge storage room for your gears, pretty safe so no worries. pantry, laundry room, washroom are pretty spacious and kept tidy. The room itself is fine, nothing to wow about. nothing to complain either. Towels are free and clean. Everything else you need to pay. Overall good stay. Pray hard you get nice room mates if youre sharing!

GGuest UserIt was pouring rain when I arrived, and still drizzling the next morning, so I decided to head back to Sapporo. I had initially planned to visit the Magic Terrace. This hostel is truly excellent; it even has a kitchen, and everything was spotless. The only drawback is that there isn't much to explore in the small town itself. It seems to be located near a ski resort, but I visited in September, so that wasn't relevant to my trip.

GGuest UserIncredible value for money stay in the heart of Sapporo. I have never stayed in a capsule hotel before which made me hesitant to book this hotel, however I am so glad that I chose it. The location is unbeatable, in the very heart of Sapporo, in Susukino district. There is an endless amount of izakaya and restaurants on the doorstep of the hotel. The onsen and sauna was the best I have visited in Japan so far. I have heard the sauna is famous across Japan, and I can see why. It is kept impeccably clean and the entire facility is well maintained. The amenities such as unlimited towels, toothbrushes, razors and hair products are a great touch too. The capsule hotel itself was great, like the rest of the property, spotless clean and well kept. Despite being a capsule hotel, I heard no snoring for disturbance during the night. The breakfast was delicious and excellent value. Upon checkout, I requested to book again due to my great experience.

CChester Wong CHThe hotel's location is great, about a 10-minute walk from Susukino subway station. The front desk is on the 8th floor. There's a strange smell in the elevator and on the 8th floor near the reception, possibly because guests have to take off their shoes, which might contribute to an unpleasant odor. Every night before bed, I enjoyed a hot spring bath, which was absolutely wonderful! Thumbs up!

GGuest UserI highly recommend staying over at this place. It's quaint little accommodation - a cross between a tiny house and a home stay. The bed and pyjamas were comfortable. The shower had a nice water pressure. The toaster was a nice touch to heat up my breakfast. But the real reason for staying here was the fantastic 'yunkai' in the morning. Right on the balcony. You can view it, then go back to bed afterwards. Only one big challenge - if u do not drive or are not a confident and competent driver, it would be a challenge to get here. Because the location is quite isolated. I highly recommend buying your dinner first and arriving before it's dark, as it's really pitch black after sunset. If you are not used to such driving, do take note of this. But otherwise do come and stay at this new accommodation.

GGuest UserThe biggest plus for this hotel is definitely its location in Susukino. It's only about a 3-minute walk to the Nikka Whisky billboard, Cocono Susukino, and the subway station. Plus, there are plenty of dining and shopping options right downstairs, which is super convenient. The hotel lobby is quite stylish with a projector screen, perfect for enjoying a meal or just relaxing. The overall decor has an industrial and camping-inspired vibe. The room itself is a bit on the small side, but the bed is incredibly soft. One minor issue is that the room door uses a thin curtain, which doesn't do much for soundproofing, so earplugs are recommended if you're a light sleeper. The bathroom facilities are great, complete with a hairdryer and basic toiletries. I just wish they had slightly larger room options. The hotel is in the tallest building right next to the Ferris wheel in the photo.
