The room was very clean and well-equipped with all amenities. There were guests from all over the world, and the front desk service was excellent. The location is incredibly convenient, right in the city center with a commercial street downstairs. The price is also very affordable, making it the perfect choice for solo travelers. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

I spent my first time here in Sapporo.
Even I mistakenly went to Plat Hostel Ichiba but this place is much better for walking. Plat Hostel Sky is on the road that leads straight to Airport Bus and Sapporo train station.
The room has a free towel, a flashlight,a line for hanging clothes inside the bed and shared in the room ,3 hangers, one small safe storage to contain your purse, passport,or charger, two electric sockets, and 2 USB A ports. I am 185 cm tall. The bed is big and private enough for me. There is not a locker for your luggage so you need to place them somewhere properly in the room.
The kitchen is next to the lobby which is good to keep your meal cool or even cooking. They will provide you free tea and coffee.
The staff are so friendly and ready to help you anytime. If you don't find them at the reception you can call them by hostel phone.
The shower rooms are so compact. There is a shower, a faucet, a hairdryer ,and free body soap, shampoo and conditioner. There are toilets for each gender on each floor except the 3rd floor which is for laundry. Both 2 washing machines and dryers work nicely!!!
Everything is clean!!! If you keep everything clean as well.

Location: Very convenient, 3 minutes walk to Odori Station, 2 minutes to Tanukikoji, convenience store within 1 minute
Facilities: The common area is very large and bright, bathroom and toilet have a women's area very courteous, hot water is very plentiful, there is provided shower gel shampoo cleanser conditioner (good use) is a little troublesome is the bathroom is a separate floor, to I took the lift with my things, but there was no heating on the way.
I was placed in an upper bunk bed, slightly inconvenient to get on and off, pillowcases and sheets to be handled by myself, a safe with 24-hour access and 24-lit public areas.
They can also help me keep my suitcase after checking out đ
There is a subway station diagonally across the street, but in fact, if you have the conditions, try to live in Tanukikoji and it is not recommended to live here. There are no scenic spots around (Hokkaido University?), except for the convenience store, it seems to have to walk for a while (when I lived Itâs the New Yearâs Day holiday, and there are even fewer foods available.) It takes more than half an hour to walk to Sapporo Station. The owner is very nice. The shop has been open for a few years, and even during the New Year, he will see the shop and organize tea parties, and some friends who can't live here will visit. There is a relatively large social space on the first and second floors, and it seems that you can buy breakfast in the store. In bed design, the curtain will leak a little bit and cannot completely cover the privacy; I live on the top floor, and I donât know if itâs hot water or decoration. There is always a strange smell, and I canât tell if itâs gas.
For what it is, a cabin/hostel, itâs well done. The rooms clean, staff helpful. What makes this place stand out though is their sauna tent. At first I was in doubt how good this could be, but with the wood stove, the forest smelling steam, the resting areas and the cold pool, it made it actually one of the best sauna experiences in Japan. Seldom do you get to do your own Löyly like that. Not a lot in the neighbourhood though (in summer), so for us one night was perfect.
I used a five-day pass for my trip to Shiretoko Five Lakes, Abashiri, and Kushiro-Obihiro in Hokkaido. Obihiro is just over a two-hour drive from Sapporo, offering easy access to Kushiro Marsh and convenient transportation to Sapporo and Noboribetsu. The convenience of a single-person stay was the key reason I chose Obihiro. One minor complaint was the mixed-gender bunk beds on the first floor, and the lack of signage for the restrooms and showers was a major drawback. Breakfast was served in the lobby downstairs, and there were very affordable izakayas nearby. Jr. Obihiro Station is about a 700-meter walk away, and there's a bus to Koufuku Station right in front of the station. I love the Japanese countryside; every spot offers unique scenery and delicious food.
Need to walk around 20 minutes from Sapporo station. Hard to find since there is no sign or poster on the entry writing hostel . Rather cafe , after going 3 times round the block I finally read in small print ten to ten .
10 minutes away from any seven eleven or family mart, 30 minutes away from ĆdĆri park , I found the location to be not ideal . On their website they write they have a laundromat , which is wrong . No washing machine , I find it disappointing in Japan where every hostels or hotels have one . The lady at the desk told me to go and wash clothes is quite far . Also donât believe the photos on their website or promotions pictures . There is no park down the building . Itâs a small hostel in a small street isolated from the rest of the neighborhood.
For the hostel itself , classic , nothing to say except some of the curtains on their bed donât close properly , the bed is very comfortable , bathroom clean and you can change towels every day . Breakfast is for free every morning at 8 and it is a coffee and a small bread . Still delicious . Staff is not always on the premises, morning and evening .
In a nutshell. Was good for a short stay but will definitely look for another one with better equipment ( laundromat ) and better location ( closer to a family mart ) next time .

Loved the location, close to Day and Night life. Near NHK Tower, âCentral Parkâ Odori, Bus Center, and my friend's office bldg in view!! Most of all, I like to go eat at the City Hall cafeteria, every once in a while, plus free great view of the city from top floor, nice restaurant cafe up there, also.
Question: You have a nice Kitchen on 4F, but no table to sit??. I will certainly Come again next time.
This is a youth travel that is not large in scale, mainly closed bunk beds, very clean, everyone has a small table for easy writing, if you need to borrow a folding stool from the outside, the facilities are still very complete.
The service was very warm. I didn't speak Japanese. I also talked a lot with people with the translation software. The eldest sister at the front desk once taught bead calculations. I loved playing table tennis in my amateurs, haha. The next day, the eldest brother drove to the travel destination, thank you very much.
Continue to stay next time, it is necessary.
When we first stepped foot in the Hostel Tomar we experienced a sense of dejavĂș. It seemed to be modelled after the popular hostels of Europe. The staff could speak fluent English & were helpful. The place was huge (for Japan), bright & airy. We immediately felt at home.
The location is incredible. It was drizzling when we arrived & continued to do so the entire time we were there. Luckily there are lots of eateries & shopping places around within easy access of the hostel. So instead of moping & bemoaning our bad luck we spent our time happily shopping for last minute souvenirs & scuppered our plans to explore further afield.

Very Good
SScudLimCozy Inn is superb, can easily be reached by bus or by car. Plenty of parking spaces. Room is big and clean. Close to Aeon and Daiso. Walkable to the canal if you are not driving. Check in uses machine and strictly only after 3pm, so do not come early. Overall, I highly recommend!
WwaynethepaintTrip.com has always been my go to for travel bookings. Similarly this time to Niseko, decided to extend for an additional week and MyEcolodge came up in the search.
I have to mention the checkin was seamless, but what I thought i booked, vastly differ from what was allocated for me. I thought what i booked was a room to myself however it turns out as a shared room. Its not a big deal but the feeling of misinterpretation leaves an awful taste.
(Trip.com CS stepped in and helped to clarify things but theres nothing that could be done. peak season, and everywhere else is fully booked or without paying a premium)
That said, the stay was good. MyEcolodge sits in a very convenient location just couple stops from Hirafu. Theres various buses including free shutters so thats really an ease off the mind)
7eleven, a small cafe, hotpot/shabushabu restaurant just sits across from you. The hostel also has their own cafeteria though ive never eaten there (food looks good though).
They have a huge storage room for your gears, pretty safe so no worries. pantry, laundry room, washroom are pretty spacious and kept tidy.
The room itself is fine, nothing to wow about. nothing to complain either. Towels are free and clean. Everything else you need to pay.
Overall good stay.
Pray hard you get nice room mates if youre sharing!

GGuest UserDespite having only stayed one night, this place surprised me. Not only is the front desk available 24 hours, they are also friendly and able to help. I found the individual beds itself were spacious enough and they also had so many beds available, you had no need to worry for it being overcrowded or worry about noise. Each floor was equipped with enough toilets and showers and they were all super clean and fully stocked with soap and even disposable toothbrushes and shavers for you to use. Onsen was also available and open from early to late night. They even had a gym and sauna! Washers and dryers were also available to use but at an additional cost.
Would recommend it for individual travellers staying for short periods (1-3/4 days)
GGuest UserI highly recommend staying over at this place. It's quaint little accommodation - a cross between a tiny house and a home stay. The bed and pyjamas were comfortable. The shower had a nice water pressure. The toaster was a nice touch to heat up my breakfast. But the real reason for staying here was the fantastic 'yunkai' in the morning. Right on the balcony. You can view it, then go back to bed afterwards.
Only one big challenge - if u do not drive or are not a confident and competent driver, it would be a challenge to get here. Because the location is quite isolated. I highly recommend buying your dinner first and arriving before it's dark, as it's really pitch black after sunset. If you are not used to such driving, do take note of this.
But otherwise do come and stay at this new accommodation.
GGee WooIt was super convenient location for shopping, dinning and from Airport Limouzine bus also.
Many tour starts from susigino.
Room was 1 single bed size with multiple plugs
Used 2nd floor
Ceiling was high enough to stand
It was good
But no locking system
Some ladies opened my room curtain by mistake
Overall clean convenient
worth to stay

GGuest UserStayed at Sho Inn for 1 night in Otaru. Itâs a little out of the way from the Otaru station if you do not drive, but they offer shuttle service to the Otaru Canal and Otaru station when you check out! The host Hideshi was incredibly kind, even going the extra mile to bring my neck pillow, which I had accidentally left in the accommodation after check out, to the Otaru station at my preferred time that evening. It was a gesture testament of the great hospitality of the Japanese. Would definitely recommend this place especially if youâre a solo traveller / prefer your own private space instead of going to those hostels with double deckered beds and curtains!
