We went there for snowboarding!
There were more foreigners than Japanese people, but everyone followed the basic rules and we had a comfortable stay!
We went to Furano Ski Resort by bus!
There are baskets for storing food, so I think it's comfortable for long-term stays! (When I told foreigners on the lifts that I was at Hostel Tomar, many of them said it was a comfortable place!)
We stayed here the next day as well. It was a pity that the weather was bad for two consecutive days. We tried to climb to the summit of Asahidake, but unfortunately the wind and snow were too strong and we had to retreat. I hope everyone pays attention to safety and enjoys outdoor sports.

If I come back to Sapporo, I will definitely make time to stay here.
As a solo traveler, this was the best accommodation!!!
I stayed for one night and took a bath three times
And I really like Nihonshu, so it was cheap to drink by the glass, and it was even better because you can buy it by the bottle.
There is no separate refrigerator in the single dormitory room, so you should keep this in mind. ** You must reserve the shuttle **
I made a reservation when I went to the accommodation, and when I tried to make a reservation after checking in to return to Susukino, it was full ㅠㅠ So I took the nearby express bus No. 7 after checking out.
The hot spring tax and sake lounge use are postpaid and you can pay when you check out.
I had a great experience, having both dinner and breakfast.
Located in Nakasatsunai, The squirrel's guesthouse Canterbury is a 4-minute drive from Nakasatsunai Art Village and 7 minutes from Forest of Rokka. This guesthouse is 26.1 mi (42 km) from Tokachigawa Onsen and 4.7 mi (7.5 km) from Fukushinosato Onsen.
Take advantage of recreation opportunities such as bicycles to rent or take in the view from a terrace and a garden. This guesthouse also features complimentary wireless internet access and gift shops/newsstands.
At The squirrel's guesthouse Canterbury, enjoy a satisfying meal at the restaurant. Full breakfasts are available daily from 7 AM to 9 AM for a fee.
The front desk is staffed during limited hours. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary (available on request).
Make yourself at home in one of the 5 guestrooms. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected. Bathrooms have separate bathtubs and showers and hair dryers.
I think this youth hostel is very clean, because your bed sheets and quilt covers are on your bed and you need to arrange them yourself.
As a post-00s, I like this place very much. There are kitchen utensils, tableware, coffee and other daily necessities here; I can't find anything to eat at night, so I go to the station to buy instant noodles and come back. You don't have to worry about anything because everyone eats supper in the lobby like you; I get up in the morning and make myself a cup of hand-brewed coffee with the hotel's coffee. I stayed here for one night on my own and didn't feel strange.
What you need to pay attention to nearby is the downhill slope at the door and the nearby railway, which you must pay attention to when commuting.
It is the best place to stay in Furano. The bus stop is in front of the Hostel (if you are coming by bus from Sapporo). It is located 5 Min walking distance from the train station. The lounge is huge. The kitchen is amazing and stuffed with everything what you need for cooking. The showers are perfect. For the girls there is an extra room next to the restrooms to get ready, do your Make-up and change. The privacy you get offered is wonderful. The cleanliness overall in this Hostel was absolutely a dream. The matres is perfect. You are going to sleep like a baby. Was one of the best during my stay in Japan. The Café of the hostel is super lovely. Loved my Café Latte. Big shout to all the receptionists. Super kind, lovely and always helpful. Especially Kozue made my stay wonderful. She is a sweetheart. Helped me with so many things and recommended to me the best local Onsen I could have asked for. Overall my stay was a 10/10. Definitely going to stay again here when I am back in Furano. Highly RECOMMENDED! :)
Front desk attendant was very friendly and polite - please be aware that you may have to knock on the glass front door if you do not yet have your access PIN as it is often locked. Small lockers for luggage (backpack size) are available free of charge - you will either require a small padlock or purchase one for just 100yen in the machine next to the lockers. In accordance with its price, the room furnishings are of simple wooden construction but very spacious inside and have a nice natural scent of pine as you sleep 😌. Plenty of shared access amenities such as guest fridge, freezer, microwave, etc. Location is ideal as it is next to JR noboribetsu station, from which you can pay roughly ¥650 for a round trip (12 minutes each way) bus ticket to Hell valley (jigokudani). Incredible alternative to a stay in the large hotels up there for travellers on a budget, particularly as most hotels will sell access to their onsens to non-guests for around ¥2,000!
It is 800-900 meters away from Teine subway station, and it takes 10-15 minutes to walk. The facilities and environment of this hostel are very clean and fresh, and the personal airtightness is also very good, suitable for friends who come to ski. Compared to the hotel next to the subway station, the price/performance ratio is very high.
Going to Teine skiing is different from walking to the front of the station. There is a station 100 meters away from the hostel, but since it is not the starting station, there may not be a seat

It happened to be the most expensive time for hotels in Sapporo. Capsule hotels have also become more than 600 per night.
The counter of this hotel is on the fourth floor, not on the first floor. You need to take the elevator to the fourth floor.
This hotel is very clean and close to the center of Sapporo. There are food and convenience stores around. You can also order food directly on the third floor of the hotel and pay for the meal when you check out.
What surprised me most was that you can enjoy the Japanese bathing culture on the fourth floor of this hotel. Many locals come here to bathe. It is quite comfortable to bathe. This does not require additional payment.
To get to the third floor of the hotel, you need to go to the fourth floor first, and then take the stairs down to the third floor. There are very comfortable reclining chairs on the third floor, and there are super many Japanese comics, all in Japanese, which I can't understand. On the third floor, you can also order wine and food. You can even order food here in the middle of the night. The service is pretty good.
The only bad thing is that the charging port on the bed is too small. My conversion plug is a big guy and it can't be plugged in at all.
The Japanese-style one-family house is located in a very remote location. The room I stayed in was Japanese-style. I was initially told that there was a male in the same dormitory, which I was not satisfied with. As a result, that person didn't come, so I stayed in a room by myself, which was fine. But the sound insulation is very poor, the old man in the next room can hear it. It was very noisy at night when the waiters were cleaning or decorating the house outside, in the middle of the night. The environment of the house is pretty good, you can cook and there is a refrigerator

SScudLimCozy Inn is superb, can easily be reached by bus or by car. Plenty of parking spaces. Room is big and clean. Close to Aeon and Daiso. Walkable to the canal if you are not driving. Check in uses machine and strictly only after 3pm, so do not come early. Overall, I highly recommend!
AAnonymous UserI was lucky to be able to book a youth hostel for just over 1,000 yuan in Niseko during the peak season. The hotel is a youth hostel, with a room dedicated to ski equipment. Free pick-up can be booked at Kutchan Station, and there is a fixed free shuttle bus to the ski resort every morning. It is a bit far from the ski resort and the center of Hirafu, and it takes about 15 minutes by car to get there. There is a 711 opposite the hotel, which is quite convenient.
FFABRICE MATHIEUNeed to walk around 20 minutes from Sapporo station. Hard to find since there is no sign or poster on the entry writing hostel . Rather cafe , after going 3 times round the block I finally read in small print ten to ten .
10 minutes away from any seven eleven or family mart, 30 minutes away from Ōdōri park , I found the location to be not ideal . On their website they write they have a laundromat , which is wrong . No washing machine , I find it disappointing in Japan where every hostels or hotels have one . The lady at the desk told me to go and wash clothes is quite far . Also don’t believe the photos on their website or promotions pictures . There is no park down the building . It’s a small hostel in a small street isolated from the rest of the neighborhood.
For the hostel itself , classic , nothing to say except some of the curtains on their bed don’t close properly , the bed is very comfortable , bathroom clean and you can change towels every day . Breakfast is for free every morning at 8 and it is a coffee and a small bread . Still delicious . Staff is not always on the premises, morning and evening .
In a nutshell. Was good for a short stay but will definitely look for another one with better equipment ( laundromat ) and better location ( closer to a family mart ) next time .
AAMARITI spent my first time here in Sapporo.
Even I mistakenly went to Plat Hostel Ichiba but this place is much better for walking. Plat Hostel Sky is on the road that leads straight to Airport Bus and Sapporo train station.
The room has a free towel, a flashlight,a line for hanging clothes inside the bed and shared in the room ,3 hangers, one small safe storage to contain your purse, passport,or charger, two electric sockets, and 2 USB A ports. I am 185 cm tall. The bed is big and private enough for me. There is not a locker for your luggage so you need to place them somewhere properly in the room.
The kitchen is next to the lobby which is good to keep your meal cool or even cooking. They will provide you free tea and coffee.
The staff are so friendly and ready to help you anytime. If you don't find them at the reception you can call them by hostel phone.
The shower rooms are so compact. There is a shower, a faucet, a hairdryer ,and free body soap, shampoo and conditioner. There are toilets for each gender on each floor except the 3rd floor which is for laundry. Both 2 washing machines and dryers work nicely!!!
Everything is clean!!! If you keep everything clean as well.

CCanadian Solo Male (‘93) - 2024 SabbaticalExpectation/Reality: fair representation of photos from reality. Bunks are organized in a clever way which make it feel quite private.
Security: good lock in bed room. Code required to get into the bunk area. And generally felt belongings were secure.
Hygiene: generally very clean, seems like a pattern in Japan. The ceiling of the top bunk is open style, rugged but clean.
Hospitality: sometimes it took some patience to deal with a human. But the online check in / out works fine. You need to take an elevator to get to the hostel
Social Atmosphere: only stayed a few nights so did not have best opportunity to engage, however, there is an abundant amount of common space and would expect it to be good.
Overall would come again and would reccomend.
KKazuya TatsuI booked this for my trip to Otaru. It's quite a walk up a hill from Otaru Station and Minami Otaru Station, but it's about a 20-minute walk from Tenguyama, so it was a good location for me who wanted to see the night view.
There were many toilets and showers compared to the number of rooms, and it was generally clean and nice. I thought it was great that there was a microwave and refrigerator, and that the washing machine and dryer were free of charge.
However, there are no amenities such as razors or toothbrushes, so you need to prepare them.
There are supermarkets and convenience stores nearby, so it's a good idea to do your shopping in advance.
Although it was at the last minute, they arranged for me to be picked up and dropped me off, which was very helpful.
GGuest UserI booked an all-women dorm. I liked that only max of 6 people were placed in one room. Comparing it to another hostel, it wasn't a big hostel, which meant there were less people and less competition for bathroom and showers. The facility was very clean and the employees were helpful. I enjoyed using the cafe/bar space to read and drink a beer.
Mm4rinosFor what it is, a cabin/hostel, it’s well done. The rooms clean, staff helpful. What makes this place stand out though is their sauna tent. At first I was in doubt how good this could be, but with the wood stove, the forest smelling steam, the resting areas and the cold pool, it made it actually one of the best sauna experiences in Japan. Seldom do you get to do your own Löyly like that. Not a lot in the neighbourhood though (in summer), so for us one night was perfect.
