Great
TTuristRUPerfect. Clean. The pool is nice, the water is clean. The shower is excellent. The air conditioning works great. There's a large common area. Lots of young people. There's space for bikes. They sell cheap fruit nearby. There were no towels, but I brought my own. There's a place outside on the second floor where you can dry your clothes; there are plenty of clotheslines. However, at midnight, they turn off the lights in the common area. The administrator goes to sleep in the basement. I asked for a knife to cut fruit, but they didn't give me one. I had to buy one at 7/11, it's nearby, and then they took it away at the train station. The breakfast is excellent. You can see the hot air balloons from the second floor, but they're very far away.
SsshimaNice basic hotel. Walkable to the town.
Next door pool party can be a little noisy.
Earplug do the trick đ
Breakfast simple but OK.
Staff helpful. Spacious room.
Pillow might need to change as it is too soft.
Kettle provide but the wall plug was too high.
Overall OK for basic reasons
AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is excellent, right in the city's most popular area, facing beautiful scenery. Turn right when you leave, and there are plenty of dining options and tour services everywhere. The room amenities are clean, and the building itself is a bit old, but facilities like hot water, a fan, and air conditioning are all available. The terrace offers great views. Aside from the owner couple, the other staff members basically don't speak English, which is something that needs improvement. I checked in around 8 PM, and since the owner couple wasn't there, I couldn't check in immediately. I waited for over half an hour until they arrived. There should at least be someone at the hotel who can communicate in English; otherwise, it's impossible to resolve any issues.
YYueguangxiadewanzilunThis hostel must be really famous in Vang Vieng. On my first day, it was full of Westerners. I even met two people from my hometown in Hubei! It's just a short walk past the roundabout to Vang Vieng's main street. The town itself isn't very big, so I mostly spent my days here relaxing and rejuvenating. You can swim and sunbathe with Europeans, play pool and chat, or go out exploring during the day. Plus, they offer breakfast, making it excellent value for money!
GGuest UserThis hostel is very well located. The amenities are standard for Laos but functional (water pressure is great which is not always the case). The real plus of this hostel is the readiness of the staff, they will help you arrange your stay (and even your stay in other cities) with readiness and a smile. Definitely recommend if you want to rest next to the pool after a long day of hiking and have good company.
CChok YetGood location even though it's not so critical for a small town like Vang Vieng, hostel seem new and clean, floor using shinning tiles, so need to be careful with wet spots, breakfast is simple but good, choice of eggs preparation, coffee tea and tropical fruit
GGuest UserThe hostel is mediocre; it's dirty, cold, and there's no hot water in the shower. Luckily, I had my own bed sheet because the one provided by the hostel was covered in stains. I wonder if they even clean it. Avoid at all costs.
GGuest UserThe room was really nice and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I especially loved having a mirror right next to the bed â such a small thing, but super practical. I would definitely book this place again and can highly recommend it.
SShengwozhiqianwoshishuiThe hotel proprietress is very friendly, the hotel is clean and tidy, there is a swimming pool in the hotel lobby to go down to bubble water, the seat is also very convenient, you can go to the night market within 5 minutes of walking out of the hotel, the hotel or the street are sold on the itinerary can be free to choose
