Hot Springs Hotels in Shimane Prefecture, Japan

Perfect hotel for those traveling by public transport around Japan -- so convenient to walk right out the door to the station :). As mentioned by other reviews, facilities and free foood are fantastic -- in additional to the bathing spaces, there are a number of lovely sitting areas spread across the building to work in. Room was clean and up to standard albeit on the smaller side and staff is friendly and helpful!

Great value for money. Friendly staff, room is a bit larger than other business class hotels.

The location of the hotel is also very good, very close to the train station. I liked it when I came, and I couldn't help but stay for another day.

The rooms and facilities are clean. The location is also excellent for restaurants and bars. There is a large public bath. I wish they would take more care of the sauna!

The design of the room is very bad, if you want to use your own private bath, you have to put on your clothes after taking a shower, and then walk back to the end of the room before walking out to the bath, why is the bathing place not next to the bath? We booked breakfast and dinner, because of the location of the hotel there are no restaurants nearby, but it was really very disgusting, and no choice, and did not understand whether the guests have food sensitivities, or what food cannot be eaten, the only option is to eat and Buried and not eaten. The most convenient way to get to the station is the bus, but the frequency is infrequent. If you don't take the bus, you can walk 20 minutes to the tram stop on the commercial street. The facilities are very good and new. There are several hot springs. Except for private baths that have to wait, there are not many people bathing in public baths and they are very clean. The children eat several of the unlimited free ice cream every day. The soy sauce ramen served from 10 to 11 pm is very lively with people coming and going, so it is suitable to have a bowl before going to bed after soaking in the soup. There is a coffee machine on the first floor and hand-ground coffee in the room. There are no facilities around except convenience stores at night, and most of the restaurants in front of Izumo Taisha Shrine close at four or five o'clock. In addition to bathing in the hot springs, you can take a walk to the woods in front of Izumo Taisha Shrine in the evening. There are several small green frogs in the wash basin at the entrance of the Taisha Shrine.

The hotel staff were very friendly and it was a shame that the hotel was not on the Lake Shinji side, but the buffet food for dinner and breakfast was very satisfying. The location was great and the hot springs were free-flowing from the source, which made my skin feel so smooth and amazing. I would definitely like to stay here again, on the Lake Shinji side.

There is a large Japanese garden and walking trails outdoors. You can also visit the room where the Japanese emperor stayed when he visited. The hotel is filled with different traditional artworks. The room is big and has a terrace. The bed is very comfortable. The breakfast is a traditional Japanese breakfast, which includes Shimane's specialty ingredients. The red sea bass is super delicious, and the clam noodle soup is also very sweet. The service is also very good. There is a free shuttle bus from the JR station. It was snowing heavily on the day of check-in. The driver took me directly to the hotel even though it was not the departure time, so I didn't have to wait in the snow. When I checked in, they even arranged a private car to take me to the train the next day. If I come to Songjiang again, I will definitely stay here again

Nice and clean hotel with natural onsen. There are complimentary ramen for supper. Pleasant stay.
