Only one complaint - if you are not a fan of capsule coffee (and I am definitely not) and you just want a cup of tea, it's a pain to have to google the coffee machine to work out how to use it when just a simple kettle would have been fine. Just 4 for the location because of the chaos at the Botley road bridge which is going on till this time next year at least! Lovely breakfast menu with good service.

**Facilities:** Generally good. The internet speed was fast, and the facilities felt new with no strange odors. *However, the bathroom and shower were very small and cramped to use, which was a significant downside.*
**Cleanliness:** The hotel was spotlessly clean, free of any strange or smoky smells.
**Location/Environment:** It's about a 10-minute taxi ride from Oxford University (costing around 10 Euros). The surroundings are very quiet and peaceful, with nice greenery. It's also conveniently located for transport.
**Service:** The staff were very friendly. However, upon my check-in, the hotel was fully booked, and I had to wait at the front desk for 30 minutes to complete the check-in process. This was a bit frustrating, but I could understand the situation.

The normal room I booked has a balcony. It depends on everyone's preference. The room has a coffee machine and a towel heating rod. The shower room is small and the button area is large, but it takes some skills to press it. The first time I pressed it for a long time, it didn't trigger. The air conditioning in my room was slightly insufficient, but the hotel service staff actively solved the problem. The overall service was very warm and thoughtful, sharing town maps and so on, so despite the slight inconvenience, I still like the style and service of this hotel. The breakfast is also good, and the black pudding is awesome. In addition, some rooms have stairs in addition to the elevator. If you have large luggage, you can try to contact the hotel to use the small elevator, as shown in the last picture

When we arrived, there was a large truck of renovation garbage at the doorway of the yard, which looked a bit messy. Entering the room was still very tidy. It should have just been renovated and looked relatively new and clean. The house is of course an old house with a certain history. The heating and sockets are a bit old. The sockets are arranged near the baseboards of the house, which makes charging awkward. Now everyone has so many electronic devices, it is recommended that the store provide more charging sockets. We booked a family room. The room is large enough. On the ground floor, there is a floor-to-ceiling window leading to the back yard. In summer, there should be a small inner yard with a table for leisure, but we arrived in winter and the yard was not decorated. Breakfast was arranged in a small restaurant in the sun room. The food is relatively rich and the environment is warm. You can communicate with other travelers. The manager and waiter are also very enthusiastic and can do their best to help the guests. The transportation is not bad. We basically walk to the central area, which takes about 20 to 25 minutes. The advantage is that you don’t have to find a place to park, and you can also see the small colleges on both sides along the way. There are not many places to eat around, but there is a small bar about 15 minutes' walk away, which has 1 Michelin star. It is a little expensive, but the food is delicious and the atmosphere is good. Students in the school are discussing business plans, which is a very university atmosphere. You can park on the roadside in front of the hotel, which is convenient. The manager let us park in the small parking lot of the hotel, which makes us feel at home. The small hotel is free and warm, and you can enter and exit with a password at night. Overall, I am quite satisfied. It was a joy to stay here and we had a fabulous weekend.. Great location - about 10 mins in taxi from centre and bus stop about 5 mins or so walk. Buses went to the city centre and railway station. The room was lovely, as were the welcoming staff. Breakfasts were very good and the pub had a nice atmosphere and an outside garden area. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Oxford.

I needed to add a small table in the room for work, and the waiter was very quick to help me solve it. The breakfast was OK, the bread was good, but the breakfast did not change after staying for six or seven days. There was no air conditioning, but a small electric fan was provided. The temperature was quite high during the few days I stayed there, and the window in the room could be opened very small. So the room was stuffy, and even if the temperature outside dropped, the ventilation was not good, and the temperature in the room was still high. This was a bit unbearable.

Let's say it first: the bed is still relatively large and comfortable, the bathroom is large; the public kitchen provides essential supplies. Bad: 1. On the back of the train station, far from the city center, because of the road construction near the train station, there is no bus to the city center, all by walking, the traffic is inconvenient; 2. Don't be fooled by the townhouse, it is an ordinary residence. The room is small and there is basically no place after the two suitcases are opened. 3. The soundproofing of the room is too bad, and the sound of walking upstairs is clear until midnight.

Moving up the luggage to the room on the top floor was rather inconvenient although the receptionist,Alex, was very helpful. Breakfast was ok, but since there isn’t a restaurant in the accommodation, you’ll have to drive out to find food beyond breakfast. Besides the receptionist Alex, I didn’t quite get a warm feeling when we encountered the hosts, which is unusual given our experience in other cities in the UK so far. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.
