Hotels With Airport pickup service in Nordland, Norway

We booked this motel months before our trip and we’re pleasantly surprised to find that it appears to have had a recent makeover. Checkin was pleasant, our room was warm and the evening meal offered in the restaurant at an extra cost was very nice. The complimentary breakfast was also excellent. We found it easy to order a taxi for a 7:00am airport transfer. I’d happily stay here again and recommend the hotel if you are flying out of Evenes.

This is definitely the best hotel in Norway. I stayed in various brand hotels during my one-month trip in Norway, and the one I was most satisfied with was Radisson, no matter which city I was in. The Bar on the top floor of Radisson Hakata is so beautiful, with a panoramic view of the sunset at dusk.

Wow. A lovely hotel in Svolvaer with amazing views. I had two different uperior double rooms on the 9th floor: one looking south over the sea and the next day looking north across the town and mountains. I saw the northern lights from my room and indeed on both nights that I was on the Lofoten Islands. I’ll attach photos for you to compare which view you like best. Do be aware though that if you go on the south side, cruise liners and other ships dock very close by. The breakfast is fantastic.

We upgraded before arriving, totally unnecessary! The room had a double bed and two wooden chairs. I asked in the reception because I thought there was a mistake, but was told, no this was a family room!? Where the family would sleep or sit is beyond me!? The room did have a fridge, but nothing in it, so we asked at the reception again and we were offered to buy a bottle for 49 kr!

My visit to Lofoten was solely because of the Northern Lights. As a solo traveler. a central location, inexpensive, safe, clean are the key factors i base on for the hotel search. Fast Hotel’s convenient location, self-check in, are superb. But during my stay, from check-in till the next morning, the entrance door to my room could not be locked at all and i had to go out without locking my room. Till the next morning a young male employee promised to help fixing it. He did. Was and am grateful to him. On the second night, i ended up not searching for northern light but the LIGHT - electricity broke down and internet connection was also down - from before midnight till 01:29. - and the hotel main entrance door, usually remains closed and is to be opened via pin code - now the sensor is not working (it is now 03:45, still not working), making my plan of going out to observe the northern light and coming back to the hotel not possible. Somehow, during the wee hours at the lobby i met someone who works nearby and stays at the same hotel, taught me how to manully open the faulty main entrance glass door (just use hands, with slight force, to manually slide open the glass doors to both sides. It didn’t require much force at all.) While technical hiccups can be rectified, here is my suggestion to the Hotel - please install a light for writing desk. The whole room has only two side table bed lights. No general light for the room at all (there are recessed ceiling lights but switches cannot be found). At the writing desk, a light sauce is a must-have. That said, i still like the hotel a lot because of its location and self-check in, completely without a Reception counter/area - that is wonderful. G reat is also he closeness to the bus terminal (not noisy at all) is pivotal as the buses (running infrequently in Lofoten) are the “lifeline” for those who visit Lofoten without a rented car. As a solo traveller, i will want to come back to this (and/or similar) Fast Hotel. i like it. It is like a trusted friend, sometimes not feeling well, but a friend is a friend.

Prior to the pandemic we booked a waterfront Rorbu at Anker Brygge - our dream vacation to stay in a waterfront fishing cabin in Lofoten. Covid happened and plans got deferred. To their credit Anker Brygge extended our reservation twice (for 2 years) as we had paid for it in advance. We reconfirmed in writing on several occasions our arrival, and reconfirmed that what we had booked had not changed. However, upon arrival they confirmed our reservation, but announced they had decided to give our Rorbu to someone else, and then stuck us in one of the antiquated apartments above the bar. Just great in the land of the midnight sun when closing time for a bar is an uncertainty. What is particularly irksome is that we had reconfirmed the details of our reservation in writing, arrived first to the facility on day of checkin, spoke to the manager about the importance of Rorbu accommodation to our vacation plans - only to see guests arriving after us, and the next day, get assigned Rorbu and we were stuck in this crummy apartment. If they had been upfront with us to begin with, and told us they had no intention of ”really” honouring our reservation, we could have made a booking at one of the hundreds of other really wonderful Rorbu on Lofoton. Crummy, vacation wrecking, experience.

Our company arranged a trip for all our emplyees this October and Svinøya rorbuer made all the arrangments. We planned for some actitivies, some conferences and nice dinners. Everything including transport, dining, activities like rib tour & sauna, conference room was arranged by them. All we had to do was to follow the scheduled plan. Their restaurant Børsen was excellent and the accomodation was also great in rorbu practically on the sea. Thanks for having us!

We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed it very much. Our deluxe double room was quite spacious and we had a superb view on two sides. The breakfast buffet is fantastic, energy shot, smoothies everything. Amazing. Stuff is very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. Approx 5min from the ferry quai by car. The interior is super modern and nicely decorated.

This hotel is direct in centre of Bodo. Close to ferry to Lofoten, and bus station. It's really clean and new. Rooms are really comfortable. The breakfast is really, really good- it has everything you could want! And caters for vegetarian/ vegan/ glutenfree/ lactose free- really all! It's a cash free hotel. I really recommend.

The service is not bad. Sending an email asking the parking space is a good answer. Going to the transit hotel before Lofoten, so there is no need for other, bodo is so a little bit bigger, driving is very close, so the location is fine. The facilities are common in Norway. The price is OK. My own skin is more sensitive. The only thing I remember is that the bed is so sturdy...

We stayed one night in one of the Rorbu faced on the sea and everything was perfect. Check-in at 15 in a winter afternoon under the snow. Cottage comfortable and clean, with a full-faced living on the sea on the private portal. The view alone is worth the living. Kitchen equipped. 2 comfortable rooms. Only the bathroom has a little disappointed but the rest largely makes it forget. The place is charming, one of the most beautiful of Lofoten. We also used the SPA (pay). Small but for private use for 1.30h with sauna and hot tubes with crazy views. A place where you would like to go back.

After having stayed on the camping ground nearby for one night last September, we were already in love with Hov. This time, due to the season, we chose to rent a lodge to spend the weekend there. The weather was challenging but that actually made the stay better because the lodges are the perfect hideaway during bad weather. Just chuck in a few pieces of wood into the fireplace that comes along with the place and then you can enjoy the spectacle from the couch. The lodge has everything you need to have a quality stay for a few days or even weeks. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is spacious and comes with a relaxing shower (and an extra plus - rituals soap and shampoo). The shared kitchen is equipped with the basics that you need. We were fortunate we had the place for ourselves but even if we had to share it with someone else, it would have been alright because the rooms appear to be soundproof. But if you are a group of friends or plan a family vacation those lodges are a great choice. The location may appear off the beaten track but it is absolutely worth taking a small detour. It isn't that far from both towns of the Lofoten Islands and some other attractions that you can find in the area. The surrounding nature is spectacular and offers (almost literally) a mountain right behind your doorstep. There are some gorgeous beaches in and around Hov that can be used for water activities (if you are keen and willing to hop out into Arctic ocean). Beyond that there are heaps of trails you can just take a hike on. During the summer you can enjoy a round of golf on (if I am not mistaken) the northernmost golf course that has 18 holes. You can also book a horse ride or the sauna (located very close to a beach) at the horse farm nearby that also offers breakfast, dinner and drinks during the summer season. We didn't get to enjoy that due to time of our stay but back in September we enjoyed a lovely breakfast there. There is also a small grocery store in the village a five minutes drive nearby that has all the necessary stuff you need to have for making your own meals at the lodges. The service level of the hotel is high. I am very happy that the hotel includes breakfast and dinner, which saves the cost of dinner. The food is rich and the sanitary facilities are good. The hotel is in a moderate location. It is in the center of the city and has convenient transportation. Traveling everywhere is not a problem. Yes A very nice hotel

This hotel is well located, right on the harbour with many floors including a top floor restaurant, bar and terrace with a beautiful view. Unfortunately the check in was very very slow as the receptionist was alone and tours were checking in. There aren't enough staff considering the size of the hotel. The room in itself was quite large overlooking the water but no A/C, 2 lumpy small pillow, no phone to call reception, windows incredibly dirty and overall cleanliness problem. Breakfast was OK but the large restaurant was so crowded and again understaffed.

I stayed at this hotel for one night before an early morning flight the next day. Although the web description mentioned waffles in the afternoon and an evening meal, the waffles machine was allegedly broken and the evening meal consisted of soup only. The room was dark, without ceiling light, and a constant noise of the air conditioner that could not be turned off. When I went to the reception to check out the next morning, no one was there. I had to wait until a cleaner appeared and called the reception staff from somewhere in the back. The take-away breakfast I had requested since I had to leave early consisted of a sandwich only -- but I was charged for the full buffet breakfast.

The hotel room was clean and pretty. One of the receptionist was very friendly and helped me plan some of my norway trip. He lives in Bodo and had traveled all over norway himself so He knew lots of helpful tips. definitely getting bang for your money here
