Beautiful hotel with every comfort and very helpful and friendly staff. Recommend a room with a balcony and sea view but all the rooms are superb. The food is not cheap but excellent, especially the breakfasts. All in all it’s very good value with the bonus of a beautifully situated pool

We spent a week in the parador in La Gomera. Absolutely stunning location and hotel, with spectacular gardens, beautiful courtyards and restful bedrooms - a real oasis after visiting the various sites of the island (the roads can be challenging). The staff are friendly and discreet, there when you need them but otherwise they leave you alone. Breakfast caters to all tastes and needs including GF. And the swimming pool is possibly the best hotel pool I have ever swum in. Highly recommend.

Checking in receptionist was very pleasant and pleasant, as were all the bar and waiting staff. They were excellent Checking out was rude and never spoke us Couldn't speak to any manager as all off till Monday. We didn't want to pay for the room but nobody to speak to.

A visit to a Parador is like meeting an old friend and the Parador de la Gomera is no exception. The location is spectacular on the cliffs overlooking San Sebastian but it is only a short walk down into town. The gardens are beautiful and the pool is excellent. Rooms are comfortable and quiet and the restaurant food is superb. Best of all the staff are all charming, friendly and helpful.

Wonderful luxury for the end of a walking holiday. The bedrooms and bathrooms were modern but the furniture appeared old. (The beds were very high.) There were lots of different places to sit, both inside and outside. The gardens and most (all?) of the bedrooms overlooked the sea. The food was exceptional. Dinner was not particularly expensive. Breakfast was amazing. The staff were all very helpful.
