The farmhouse is situated in the quiet and tranquil countryside with a lovely gravel road entrance with trees and horses on both sides. Romantic antique/rustic-style decor in rooms. (Wi-Fi can be a bit weak). Jacuzzi in bathroom. Safe for storing valuables as well as robes along with complimentary tea and bottled water to disposal. Free parking with charging statations for electric cars. No restaurant on the premises apart from the cosy breakfast room with its panoramic windows however, there are a few restaurants nearby. The owner is a generous and accommodating host who speaks English very well. Breakfast was rich with several options to choose from. Apart from all the beautiful horses there were two small cute and adorable dogs roaming the site. The San Giacomo Horses farmhouse is not located far from Milan if one wishes to go on excursions there. Certainly a place we will return to.

Abbiamo alloggiato alla Cascina San Giacomo per un weekend. Accoglienza fin da subito calorosa da parte della proprietaria che ci ha accolto nella sua cascina. Abbiamo prenotato l’appartamento. Molto ampio, ben arredato e pieno di oggetti raccolti durante i diversi viaggi dei proprietari. La Cascina dispone anche di un piccolo allevamento di cavalli e diversi spazi verdi e zone di relax per gli ospiti. Per questioni di sicurezza abbiamo scelto in anticipo cosa avremmo voluto per la colazione. Ampia scelta di dolce e salato e prodotti fatti in casa. La sala vetrata della colazione molto bella. Tavoli ben distanziati. Prezzi nella media. Uniche note sulla camera, l’assenza di un bagno schiuma nel bagno e qualche ragnatela.
