My father and I stayed at this hotel on our last day in Baku in April 2024. The rooms are average sized with a tiny balcony that offers a nice view of the boulevard. The room and bathroom were clean, with the essential facilities such as twin bed, kettle, phone, television and toiletries. The breakfast is decent with options for vegetarians, and the hotel is close to the boulevard, carpet museum, etc. There are other restaurants and shops nearby and the place is safe to walk around. The front desk staff were courteous and helpful, and made this stay very pleasant. Overall, a good experience and value for money!

Rooms are decent in size compare to other hotel rooms in the area. Breakfast you'll find same spread everyday. We had a decent saty here with my family until we reached back home and realized my wife's expensive shoes were stolen most likely by house keeping lady during one of her room cleaning while we were away and this was just one of the many incidents we faced during our trip to baku. Azerbaijan in all is amazing place with modern infrastructure and good weather unfortunately the people there are bringing bad name to their country by scamming innocent touring who are just there to have a good time. I opted for this Hotel for it's 24h reception service. So a late Check-In is possible. The Check-In went smooth and my room was almost clean (a few spots on the towels). The bath room was sometimes a bit smelly, this might be die to drainage problems. The Wifi was almost stable, keep it mind, tue QR Codes are sticked in the floor walls. The breakfast (3 sorts of curd, yogurt, sausage, Egg variants, jam, omelettes, spinach gözleme, salad, tea, coffee) is Basic, but sufficient to have a neatish meal. The staff was attentive and they tried the best for a comfortable stay. All in all you should keep in mind that this is a cheap priced Hotel, but the price-performance-ratio is amazing and it is in walking distance to the city center (or just take the bus 125, 6, 88 or 5).

One of my worst nigh**ares as a tourist visiting a new country for the first time. I had made 3 bookings in their sister hotel (Zamzam Hotel) for me and my two friends from Dec 27th 2023 until Jan 2nd 2024. When I reached ZamZam Hotel, they told me their lift is having some maintenance issues and they have decided to put me in their sister Hotel which was Madinah Hotel and a few blocks away. I was not informed about this maintenance in advance. I was asked to carry my own luggage and walk these few blocks to Madinah Hotel. We were not given any kind of comfort or concession for the inconvenience caused to us. Madinah Hotel was an extremely dirty/unhygienic Hotel and we were asked to pay in cash during our check in since their card machine was not working. The staff made us walk the whole street to look for A**s. After a hectic trip, we had to walk so much and all A**s in the area were not even working. They put me in a double bed standard room which smelled of sewage at different intervals of the day throughout the 6 days. I found a used condom packet at the side of my bed. On informing this to the staff, they did nothing about it. They told their cleaners to clean my room immediately and that was never done. The water bottles were not sealed, the bedsheets and pillow case were dirty. The water kettle in my room had so much filth inside it. Despite trying to wash it, the dirt wasnt going! They served cold breakfast and the same menu everyday. The staff was polite but not helpful. I would not recommend Madinah Hotel to anyone in Baku!

Being our first time and first day in the country, the hotel was pre-booked with a confirmation sent to us and upon reaching 1:30am; the reception informs us that no room is available as we will have to wait until next morning. And to add to this they were expecting us to move to a hotel which was more expensive. The staff at the reception had no sympathy factor neither they felt any emotion seeing us exhausted from a flight. It was around 3am when we finally got a hotel to check-in because it was quite a distance to get to it. It was so unnecessary and a waste of our time because the very same morning we were schedule to begin the first trip of the 3 day itinerary. I recommend that nobody should book this hotel.

Myself and my friend had two rooms in this hotel for nine nights over the weekend of the Formula 1 Grand Prix in June 2022. The hotel had just been newly refurbed at that time and I’m sure we were the first guests in our rooms, everything was brand new and ultra clean. Free good speed WiFi, air con (essential during the summer), comfy bed, mini fridge in the room, good ensuite and a view towards the Caspian Sea and the Baku Eye – although a new building was under construction across the street, so sadly this will probably become obscured. Good local breakfast was included and free transfers to and from the airport, which were really useful. The hotel is about a 15 minutes’ pleasant walk along the promenade from the western edge of the city centre (old town side). As our F1 stand was at this end of the circuit it was very convenient. You pass by the Baku Eye, Deniz Shopping Mall, the Carpet Museum and many restaurants on the walk, so it’s pretty good location. The guy on the desk, Aslan, and his colleague who’s name I didn’t get, were both extremely helpful and spoke good English.

I am very glad that I chose Madinah otel. The hotel staff are pleasant, cheerful, cheerful guys. I am very grateful to each of them for their politeness, friendliness, for their help in any situation and on any issue. The hotel is comfortable, cozy, clean... And, definitely, my choice on my next trip will be only this hotel... Most of the attractions of Baku are within walking distance. The view of the sea and the boulevard is beautiful... I felt at home , mostly because of the friendly and hospitable staff....Guys, you are the best...Aslan the administrator. Anar, Ismail, Mahir, Azer...
