Luxe Villas Bali

Ubud Bali|0.76km from Villa San
If you are on the fence about whether or not to splurge on LUXE Villas Bali, the answer is YES. Yes, you should splurge and stay here. I have stayed at some boutique luxury villas in Thailand (Amphawa, Khao Yai) and also several J.W. Marriotts (Hua Hin, Phuket). They can't hold a candle to LUXE Villas because the service here is exceptional and unparalleled! The staff is so kind and friendly. They know your name and remember you throughout your stay. The front desk is open 7 AM - 11 PM but they have 24 hr service via the WhatsApp concierge number, so I was able to talk to them in the USA to arrange the car before flying to Indonesia. Anything you could want, they can help you book it - private yoga, private massage, activities, car service, etc. We booked two excursions with outside companies; the LUXE concierge asked for the phone number of the company and from there, LUXE arranged the pick-ups for our excursions. For our early morning excursions Luxe either arranged a breakfast box, or they were able to take our breakfast orders the night before and serve us breakfast at 7:30/8. We met the owner, Paul, and he was also helpful in recommending places in town for us to visit. I asked him about the hotel - he and his wife built it from 2010 - 2014, and did ecological consultation to ensure everything is eco-friendly, including the filtration system, as you can drink from the tap. This is another reason why I chose to book this stay. The hotel is tucked away between picturesque rice paddies. It is located on a motorcycle-only road, but they have bikes to bring your suitcases. I saw families with young children (3 yo) stay at LUXE Villas, and the motorcycle drivers are very gentle when driving so don't worry if you've never ridden one before or have children. For each day you stay, they have a shopfront in town called Luxe Lounge, open from 1 pm - 9 pm. You can drop your shopping bags there to be taken back, or go there when you need to call a ride back to the hotel. If you return after 9 pm, just message the concierge on WhatsApp. The dining service (the Grill @ LUXE) was exceptional. I should write a whole post about the restaurant alone but our best meals in Ubud were here. The truffle mash was to die for! The cost is comparable to an upscale dinner in America but the food quality and service are much, much better. On the booking, I noted that it was our honeymoon and when we arrived we were greeted with a beautiful honeymoon flower welcome sign. They brought us straight to our room and gave us welcome drinks (cucumber refresher) while showing us the suite amenities. The suites are stylish and high-quality in furnishings and fixtures. Only once we finished the tour did they have us sign for check-in (I signed inside the room, not at the check-in desk), and they brought our suitcases up for us. In the evenings when we were in town, they turned down the bed for us and left chocolates on the bedside tables. There was a definite advantag

The 5-star experience commenced with a well-appointed and serene room, offering a spacious environment that was both restful and relaxing. The array of amenities provided by the resort was truly remarkable. The attention to detail was evident in every facet, from the well-maintained grounds to the thoughtfully curated in-room features. The seamless blend of modern comfort and traditional aesthetics added a unique charm to the overall ambiance. One aspect that stood out remarkably was the staff’s kindness and attentiveness. Their commitment to ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay was palpable, and it greatly contributed to the overall positive experience. Their impeccable service went beyond expectations, creating an atmosphere of genuine warmth. A highlight of the stay was the unexpected delight of encountering monkeys on the resort’s grounds. This added an element of natural wonder to the experience and provided a unique connection to the destination’s surroundings. The resort’s strategic location on Monkey Forest Road proved to be an ideal base for exploration. Immediate access to the vibrant Ubud market and the rich cultural activities of Ubud palace added convenience and enriched the overall stay. In conclusion, Komaneka at Monkey Forest offers a harmonious blend of relaxation and cultural immersion. The combination of serene accommodations, exceptional amenities, and attentive staff creates an atmosphere of refined luxury. My stay was enriched by the presence of monkeys on the premises, and I wholeheartedly look forward to returning. Wina Ubud B&B is only a short walk to the palace, temple and markets. We were impressed by the cleanliness and comfort of our room, with daily room service provided as well. Best of all, each day we were greeted with warmth and kindness. If you would like to experience Bali in a traditional family homestay I would highly recommend Wina Ubud B&B. Breakfast served every morning was a treat with yummy banana pancakes, fresh fruits, juice and coffee. Thank you Ketut for making our stay in Ubud extra special.

Wayan and Komang really make you feel at home. Their beautiful homestay is a 5 minute walk to the Palace and Saraswati Palace and many other places you'll want to visit in Ubud. Wayan is an experienced and knowledgeable tour guide and can take care of all your visa and all logistics needs in Bali. The rooms are nice and spacious with tons of hot water. I thoroughly enjoyed my month there - the second time I've stayed!

It is a rural farmyard. The yard is very beautiful, but there are a lot of mosquitoes, and the room is very simple! It is also very close to the palace, a bit far from the big supermarket! Overall it is ok!

The location is a bit biased, but quiet, there is a kindergarten nearby, there will be music in the morning. The room is old, the facilities are incomplete, there is no hot water bottle and toiletries. The external environment is good, the rooms are independent, there are two doors, one door is open full of green eyes, and the plants grow well. Breakfast is made now, the taste is OK, the staff is more enthusiastic, the service is not bad.

I spent the past week here during Nyepi and couldn’t have asked for kinder, more generous hosts! I was treated like one of the family. The entire facility is beautiful and the room was quite comfortable. They also have a lovely pool and family temple area. I learned many things from Darta about Balinese heritage and culture. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a local experience near the center of Ubud.
