"The hotel offers limited activities and lacks facilities, so it’s best suited for a short stay. Be sure to request a room away from the roadside, as the lack of soundproofing affects sleep quality. However, the location is convenient for visiting nearby attractions around the dam. It's recommended for a brief stopover before moving on to your next destination."
"We looked for a jump off hotel to start our trip to Kaoh Sok, and this hotel was perfect for that. Hotel owner was extremely helpful by picking us up from the airport in the posting rain and very friendly overall. She facilitated by adding an extra bed for one of our kids. The small houses are well kept and efficiently set up. The pool was great and we spent the end of the day cooking down. Would definitely recommend to stay! "
"Good hotel. Spacious rooms, view from the 3rd floor window of the mountains and the swimming pool is gorgeous. The staff is friendly. Of the minuses: there is no partition or at least a curtain in the shower, everything around is flooded with water."
"Too little space for 6 people. The bathroom has mold. Leaking toilet pipe In front of the room that says you can eat grilled pork, but there is no shelter from the rain. Eat in the rain. There are stray dogs that come and dig up the garbage to eat grilled pork, making loud noises at night. Because the hotel told us to leave the pan in front of the room where we eat. I didn't bring anything in because the room was very small and in fact my suitcase was already full. The entrance to the night school is quite dark and the road is not very good. Must have a car to enter. But the parking lot is dirt. There are a lot of black ants entering the car. Be careful of red ants on the floor. The real thing is not quite like the picture, but the view is beautiful. If you like beautiful views, like experiencing nature and tranquility. You can come."
"The staff were all polite and helpful at all times. The hotel is very tired and needs a complete refurbishment, reception area which gives first impression was poor. All furniture is chipped, scratched just not inviting at all. Our room was spacious and bedding very clean, door lock needs attention, it’s difficult to lock as the barrel is loose. The pool outside our room had many tiles missing and the main pool had been patched up in an amateurish fashion. The hotel sign in the grounds has a letter missing. A lack of investment all round.
The hotel did arrange a tour on the lake for us which was beautiful and I thank them for that. Beware this hotel is not in the area for regular tour pick ups so you may struggle to get on any organised tours."
"The atmosphere here is very peaceful, the staff is also very calm, they helped with everything, I booked a tour to the lake, a return transfer. The hotel grounds are just a fairy tale, a river, swings, a garden, silence. We had the most basic room, without air conditioning. But an adequate fan - it was not hot. Please note: the walls are made of bamboo, so you can hear everything, even your neighbors going to the toilet. It did not bother us, I hope we did not bother anyone either.
And yes: the shower and toilet are shared here.
We liked the breakfasts. And overall the stay was pleasant)"
"The room is clean, there is a swimming pool, near food sources, you can borrow the maid's motorbike to go shopping.
There is also a car service to take you to Cheow Lan Dam, 300 baht per trip, can seat 10 people.
Breakfast on the day I went, there was coffee, pork buns, fried dough sticks, cookies, but they ran out a bit early (the day I went, it rained in the morning, so it's understandable). Overall, it's okay."
