Moose Hotel and Suites
4.6/5132 Reviews
This is one of the most popular hotels in Banff, but perhaps because it was the off-season, I stayed there at a very reasonable price. In particular, there is a heated pool and sauna on the hotel rooftop, so you can enjoy the heated pool while looking at the snow-capped Rocky Mountains. I think it will be the best experience
Royal Canadian Lodge
4.2/5105 Reviews
We stayed here at short notice after our trip to Jasper had to be cancelled due to the wildfires. It was a last minute booking and I have to be honest I wasn’t sure what to expect. However I was pleasantly surprised! We had a suite and it was spacious and had a large bathroom area; and even some seating. It was clean and the beds were super comfy. The staff were all very friendly and polite: especially the lady on reception (I think her name was Vanessa, she helped us find a good takeout place!). Plus the hotel is very close to downtown so only a short walk from the restaurants and shops. The hotel could do with some modernization (it just feel a little old fashioned) but that being said it sort of adds to the charm and gives it a real lodge like feeling. I would be happy to stay here again but would probably opt for a bigger room again as it was worth the extra.
Mount Royal Hotel
4.4/5106 Reviews
The location and environment of the hotel are good, the rooms are good, and the scenery is first-class. There are many shops near the hotel, and there are different restaurants to choose from. You can dine in different restaurants every day and enjoy the local environment. You must remember to reserve time to enjoy the outdoor hot water soaking bath on the top floor.
High Country Inn
4.3/5107 Reviews
The hotel is in a good location, in Banff Town, 5 minutes walk from the central area. The double bed is two large beds, the mattress is comfortable, and the hygiene is ok, but the price is too expensive.
Fairmont Banff Springs
4.4/5114 Reviews
We stayed at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel this past long weekend. A mini getaway for my husband and I. They had excellent covid screening measures in place - from the front entrance staff, to the elevators, to our room. We were gifted with a PPE kit that contained masks, gloves, and sanitizer. The room was small but clean. Air conditioner was great as it was a 30 degree weekend. The pool was refreshing and social distancing measures were in place and well monitored. We ate at the Chop House in the hotel. Very classy (expensive) but worth the money spent. Can’t wait to stay here again! Friendly staff.
The Hidden Ridge Resort
4.2/5108 Reviews
Arrived at the Hidden Ridge Resort after a long drive and were immediately impressed with the friendly welcome. The ladies at the front desk were awesome and even arranged an upgrade for our (slightly) complicated family makeup. Special praise goes to Amelia who always greeted us with a smile every day and checked to see everything was OK. Although no eating establishment on site, the gas BBQs were clean, good to go and we used them on the first night (front desk provided BBQ tools). The bus into and out of town is available from the site and Banff itself is absolutely awesome. This is a great place to stay.
