Montien Hotel Surawong Bangkok

Silom/Sathorn Bangkok|0.39km from The Thai Red Cross
I had the pleasure of staying at The Montien for 3 weeks 2 months ago when on a company-booked trip. My room and bed were extremely comfortable and spacious, with plenty of natural light and unobstructed views, quality amenities including a Nespresso machine. The Montien decor is modern, Thai style and beautiful. The breakfast buffet is bountiful, with plenty of variety. Pierre Pelletier, the Area General Manager and his team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was outstanding! Then this month when my family and I planned a vacation to Bangkok I picked this hotel as our base. The hotel is conveniently located for easy access to the sky and underground trains, many must-go-to restaurants, cafes, Siam Paragon, temples, Chinatown, night walks and more. We were welcomed with incredible 5-star Thai hospitality. Special mention to Khun Nu, her front desk team and night manager Khun Jew for handling flight delays, airport transfers and arranging pick up of lost luggage, Khun Tik for his world-class warm welcomes, Max’s regular assistance and taxi coordination, the ever-helpful and polite bellmen, Beer remembering our morning coffee preferences, Kae at Ruenton restaurant for looking after us at dinners, friendly Tanya at the lobby bar, the housekeeping team for keeping our 3 rooms impeccable and everyone who made our Bangkok vacation so memorable! It felt like our home away from home and we enjoyed our time here so much!

The butler and housekeeping services are designed to make you feel nurtured and taken care of. The staff's traditional style of service is all about providing heartfelt care and attention, and you can't help but feel comforted by their warm smiles and kind demeanor. The food at the St. Regis Bangkok may not be the most extravagant, but it is undeniably of the highest quality. Just like the saying goes, you can buy an apple for 10 baht or 100 baht, but you can't be sure if the apple is worth the price. However, at the St. Regis Bangkok, you can be confident in the quality of the apple, and the only thing you need to worry about is whether you can eat enough of it. In summary, the St. Regis Bangkok is a luxurious and elegant hotel that offers a tranquil retreat in the midst of a bustling city. 🫰🏻Good location, good room, near the source of food 😀😀😀 would be better if checking in early and request to be informed before time The hotel has no service. Have to pay extra to upgrade the room 😅 For the view, it's about the city view 😁

Hotel location is good, close to the Tiantie station, the hotel is a bit old, there is a disco at the door, some noisy, but little impact on the night owl! The price is reasonable and value for money!

Standard room. Quiet clean hotel. Right in the middle of markets and avenues famous for bars and shows. When that gets too much, retire to the hotel pool area. GREAT pool under the frangipani tree. Always an attendant on hand with cold water or a towel. All the staff here are lovely. I had two stays in Bangkok. First here, and then closer to Khao San Road near the Palace etc. I truely preferred this area. Better street food. Kinder people. Don't get me wrong...a tourist is a tourist is a wallet...but I was much more comfortable here than over near the river. I think being at The Rose made my stay infinitely easier.

Sawatdee krub thouk khon, Surawong Hotel 56 was really awesome: The stuff (reception and housekeeping) was very nice and helpfull, the room had a very good furniture and beds were so nice that we would liked to bring the pillows back home :) Everything was very clean and functional. Noise insulation was ok (7th floor to the street side) but for sure in a city like Bangkok there is always some noise. We stayed 2 weeks (with 4 extentable reservations but we did not travel around) and for sure we will be back there in April. The only negative thing was the SafetyBox: It was just put on the floor without any fixing, so anyone could carry it away, and batteries were empty. In the end we did not need it really so not a big deal. So I suggest to find a way to install it under the TV Table or elsewhere. Little hint: Since Covid, the paiment in the city by foreign Credit Cards is much easier, especially with a card like Revolut or others. Just check eventual fees that your bank will charge you. Great stay in Surawong, thank you again to Surawong 56 and P'Ran. Sawatdee krub. P'Marco & N'Title

It is clean and clean. My sister keeps cleaning. The weifi is strong. The lobby and rooms are all very effective. I especially like a youth hostel. The boss is learning Chinese. They are all people from all over the world. They chat together and the children practice oral English. There are all kinds of food when you go out. Thai food is the best in the world. Nearby is the subway, Patpong Night Market, Japan Street, the hotel is in the alley, very quiet, I like it very much.
