Zermatt Hotels with Bars

Staying at this hotel in Zermatt was an unforgettable experience! The location is perfect—just 500 meters from the train station, making it incredibly convenient. The highlight of my stay was the warm hospitality from the owners, Thor and Michele. They personally served the buffet breakfast every morning, which was both delicious and thoughtfully prepared. On my first day, I unfortunately missed breakfast, but as I was heading out around 10:45 am, they surprised me by reserving some food for me to enjoy before leaving. It was such a thoughtful and touching gesture that truly made me feel cared for. The room itself was immaculate and had everything I needed. The balcony offered a stunning mountain view, which was a perfect way to start and end each day. Thor and Michele went above and beyond to make me feel like a VIP throughout my stay. They remembered my name, attended to every need, and even took the time to explain the local attractions and recommend food options based on my preferences. I feel incredibly lucky to have secured two nights at this gem of a hotel, especially since it’s almost always fully booked. This was one of the most personal and heartwarming stays I’ve ever had. If you’re visiting Zermatt, staying here is an absolute must. Thank you, Thor and Michele, for making my trip so memorable!

This hotel is a treasure hotel I recently found in Switzerland!! The location of the hotel is super good. We didn't book a balcony room originally, but we paid extra to book one, but it feels super worth the price! With a balcony room, you can directly see the Matterhorn in the sun. The hotel staff is also very good and enthusiastic! The hotel's supporting facilities are great, with indoor/outdoor hot springs that can be used after 1pm. The hotel car picks up and drops off! You can make an appointment to be dropped off at the train station

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The excellent service rendered by the staff made our honeymoon much sweeter. Everyone was friendly, kind and always willing to help. Room was really nice and the extra sauna and open concept bathtub was a nice surprise! Breakfast spread was super delicious as well. Facilities like the wellness area include foot bath, infrared chairs, jacuzzi etc.

Great location! In front of the station. Only 100 m can walk about 1-2 mins from the station. Very kindly and nice staff and owner. Breakfast is good. Room is clean and large. It feel like home with staff. I recommend you to stay in this hotel. If I come back Zermatt again, I’ll stay this hotel again. I’m in Snow storm disaster in Zermatt on 17th-19th April 2025. This hotel is our lucky hotel! We ended the bitter wind and rain in Switzerland here and finally saw the Matterhorn! This hotel itself is also great. The interior layout and design are very cleverly using the elements of the Matterhorn. Moreover, we only made a temporary reservation at 6 or 7 last night. The lady at the front desk upgraded our room type. The room is so big and has a large balcony. There are free coffee and tea in the room. Their breakfast is also great. Because I was in a hurry to go up the mountain in the morning, I didn’t take any photos, but the breakfast is very rich, with various fresh fruits such as strawberries and kiwis, freshly fried meats such as bacon and grilled sausages, as well as vegetables such as broccoli and mushrooms, as well as various breads, juices and milk, and even freshly squeezed orange juice. You can also go to the bar and order a cappuccino. In short, you can eat very satisfying! The best thing is that this hotel also has a pick-up service. We originally had to drag the big box to the train station for more than ten minutes, and the small car took us directly there. It took a few minutes and arrived super fast! I promise that I will definitely stay at this hotel next time I come to Zermatt!

The location is super convenient, 10 minutes walk to the downtown business district, it is also very convenient to go to the train station, too friendly to passengers traveling across countries ～ The room is clean and tidy, the bedding is soft and comfortable, the sound insulation effect is excellent, and it is too important to sleep well after a long flight. The staff is warm and professional, the English communication is smooth, and the local travel tips are also intimate. The breakfast is rich in variety, taking into account Chinese and Western tastes, and even the light meals that the baby can eat. The price is super high, I will choose next time, recommend it to friends who have travel or bring baby needs!

The stay would be ideal if the room included a fan, as it can feel a bit stuffy while sleeping during the summer. The location is convenient, and the kids' club, spa, and pool offer plenty of fun for the children.

The resort has a brand new feel overall. It's super close to the train station, just a 5-minute walk, which makes getting to the Matterhorn really convenient. Plus, it's closer to the viewpoint than other hotels. The room had a very cozy vibe. However, I wouldn't stay here again, and here's why: 1) There's no hot water during peak shower times in the evening, so I had to wait until morning to shower, and I felt sticky and uncomfortable all night. 2) The Matterhorn view was obstructed by two trees, and I don't think rooms with obstructed views should be sold at the same price as those with an unobstructed view.

Just a 10-second walk from Nihonjin-bashi, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Matterhorn. The location is absolutely fantastic! The room was clean and offered a nice view as well. While it wasn't a Matterhorn-view room, we still enjoyed a lovely view of the Zermatt townscape. If I get the chance to visit again, I would definitely want to stay here.

We love the hotel and wished we could have stayed longer. The view from the balcony of our room gave us a clear view of the Matterhorn. The hotel is easily accessible from the Zermatt train station and the Town centre . We loved the room allocated and found it extremely comfortable. We also enjoyed the sumptuous breakfast buffet which was pretty extensive. Staff was really pleasant and helpful at all time. Our receptionist even escorted us to the room by stairs because their lift was not functional when we checked in. The only regret was that we were unable to utilise the sauna and swimming pool facilities due to time constraints. Will highly recommend the hotel to those who are looking for value for money stays whilst in Zermatt.
