From the moment you enter the hotel area, you will feel that it is a relatively independent and private environment. The overall decoration is very stylish. I heard from the housekeeper that this is the owner's own house, so the decoration design and materials are very carefully selected. It is very different from other B&Bs that are rented out.
The housekeeper contacted us by phone shortly after we placed the order. We booked the cheapest price and upgraded it when we checked in. Any questions during the stay were responded to in a timely manner. The overall service experience was great~
Before coming here, I was worried about whether it would be inconvenient to eat, but when I arrived, I found that my worries were completely unnecessary. The hotel provided a Hainan-style rice noodle breakfast, which was simple but fully met the needs. There was also Hainan-style afternoon tea. If you want to dine in the hotel, you can also make a reservation in advance with the butler. In general, during the stay, you can fully meet various needs without leaving the hotel, and the experience is not inferior to that of a high-star hotel!
When I checked in, I saw models taking photos. The housekeeper told me that they also had some water sports experiences. Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time this time, so I’ll just leave it for next time. I’ll definitely come again if I have the chance!

DDuduerdongPros: It's like staying at an Aloha hotel. The staff is friendly and attentive.
Cons: The Aloha room type is poorly designed: the bedroom is so small that the bed is almost against the wall on three sides, there's only a single nightstand, and the sink only fits one toiletry bag. I was about to praise the hotel for the thoughtful inclusion of a disposable toilet seat cover, but when I saw the toilet seat, I suddenly didn't think it was a thoughtful gesture; it turned out to be a necessity.
Food and drinks are far from nearby, making it unsuitable for those who are lazy. Since the trip was long, I had planned to wander around the area before heading to Sanya to stay in a hotel. I planned to stay in Lingshui for four or five days. As an autonomous county, Lingshui lacks tourist facilities beyond the sandy beaches of Qingshui Bay, and the night market is quite chaotic. It's peak season now, and better hotels are comparable in price to five-star hotels in Yalong Bay. After one night, I decided to move to Sanya. I don't recommend staying here for vacations other than self-driving tours. After a day of traveling, you won't feel like you're on vacation in such an environment.

GGuest UserI've always wanted to stay at Raffles Clearwater Bay, and I finally got to! I booked a Seaview Residence but was upgraded for free to a Bali Lighthouse Room, and the ocean view was absolutely stunning! My room was 1157, and there wasn't even a hint of mildew. While the facilities might be older, they're not run-down at all, which is perfectly fine. The public areas are grand and beautiful, with plenty of spots for photos. My favorite was the irregularly shaped pool; the winding lanes were so interesting. Breakfast clean-up was a little slow, but there was always enough seating. After checking out, I stayed by the pool for a long time. I'd suggest adding a hairdryer and dry towels to the restrooms by the pool for convenience. My butler, DARRYL, was incredibly responsive to all my requests. I'd definitely come back!

Hygiene: Very good. The kids loved the small pool.
Environment: Although the public areas aren't huge, there's plenty for kids to do, including a drift play area.
Service: Our butler, Vicky, was incredibly responsive and always happy to help. She even assisted with sending a package, which was very thoughtful!
Other: Kids get their own special room card, and upon check-in, they immediately receive a West Highland Terrier toy.
Breakfast: You can order directly from the à la carte menu, no need to specifically ask like at Lai X.

GGuest UserThis is hands down the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Everything, from the rooms to the service and the little details, is incredibly thoughtful and family-friendly. We originally booked for two nights but ended up extending for another because there was just so much to do! The hotel's design is brilliant, with a strong theme, and the balcony's shading design provides excellent ocean views. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with no strange smells and fantastic soundproofing. Hot water in the bathroom was instant, which was a huge plus! Our butler, Anna, was incredibly responsive and attentive. The staff at the go-kart track were also super patient and thorough in explaining how to operate them, unlike other places where they just tell you a couple of things and let you figure it out. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets offered a wide variety of fresh food, catering to all ages. I was especially impressed that the braised beef brisket at the noodle station wasn't a pre-made dish – it was genuinely slow-cooked on the spot! The pool area was diverse and fun, and they even provided arm floats, so there's no need to bring your own – 100 points for attention to detail! The only tiny improvement I could suggest would be offering memory foam pillows. Bringing kids here truly allows you to relax and enjoy yourself without worries! Definitely a hotel I want to visit again!

The hotel is sparkling new and clean, with a modern and luxurious design. There's absolutely no new-decoration smell. From the lobby to the rooms, every detail is exquisitely crafted. The blue and white ocean theme is incredibly soothing and perfect for photos! The facilities, bedding, and bathroom amenities are all premium brands, making for a comfortable and reassuring stay.

Before my stay at Capella Sanya, it might have just been an abstract design concept. However, during this trip, thanks to the attentive care of our Capella Culture Explorer, Diana, this statement became tangible and vivid.
🌿 More than just a hotel, a true “local guide”
What touched me most was Diana's professionalism. Unlike generic, rehearsed speeches, she knew the local area like the back of her hand. When I asked for dining recommendations, she didn't just rattle off the hotel's internal restaurants. Instead, she genuinely recommended unique local eateries and even bustling night markets. This sincerity, going beyond the hotel's boundaries and thinking from the guest's perspective, truly embodies the essence of Capella's “Culture Explorer” concept.
🏎️ Meticulous “predictive” service
Diana’s service logic wasn't reactive; it was proactively predictive.
Knowing I was heading to a restaurant, she always arranged a buggy transfer for me right away.
She seemed to have a “precise clock” in her head, always knowing when I'd finish my meal and proactively asking for feedback afterwards.
When faced with a less-than-perfect dining experience, she responded quickly and resolved it perfectly. This feeling of being cared for and constantly looked after is the core premium offered by a luxury hotel.
🥥 Personalized tenderness in the details
One detail that made me feel incredibly cared for: I casually mentioned that I wanted something light to eat late at night to avoid burdening my stomach. Diana remembered this and proactively arranged for the rich dessert to be replaced with a refreshing coconut. This kind of intuitive service – “understanding what you say and making things happen” – is far more delightful than standard SOPs.
Conclusion:
While the architecture of Capella Sanya is undeniably stunning, what truly makes me want to return are exceptional Culture Explorers like Diana. She transforms luxury from cold marble and expensive bedding into a warm, humanistic care that flows through every detail.

PPCh€nPretty good service apartment with a solid sea view. One of the balcony is converted into a bedroom, you literally wake up to the seaview. The surf shop double up as a front desk. Communication was easy. The toilet had an awkward translucent panel which was not fully covered by the blinds. More suited for couples, less so for families and friends. Overall, a good apartment within walking distance to several eateries next door.

GGuest UserDisadvantages: 1. The geographical location is extremely remote. Apart from being close to Bianjiezhou Island, which is about 8km away, it is far away from anywhere. You can’t take a taxi or order takeout, and none of the restaurants that can pick you up are willing to pick you up. It’s basically impossible to travel without a self-driving car. To eat seafood, we have to go to Xincun Pier. It takes nearly 2 hours to drive there and back. We have dinner and go out at 6 o’clock, and come back at 10 o’clock.
2. It says that breakfast is delivered to the room, but there are very few types. If you stay in other hotels, you can eat breakfast as lunch. If you can eat well, you can't expect it if you stay here. If you don't have enough, you can't eat well. You have to go out for lunch. 3. The TV remote control is very insensitive and the air conditioner is very noisy.

The bedding is clean and there is a refrigerator. 3️⃣ The staff sent us to the high-speed rail station. 4️⃣ The food was good and they gave us free fruit. 5️⃣ It's less than ten minutes' walk to the deserted beach. I believe the facilities will get better and better in the future. I look forward to staying here again next time (very suitable for elderly people to live in. The infrastructure is very good, the toilet has handrails and a shower bench. The staff are super patient and enthusiastic! !
