There were numerous issues throughout, with only a few minor details managing to salvage some goodwill. I'm sharing this honest review for anyone considering staying here. First, let's talk about the check-in process, which significantly impacted my experience. It was incredibly convoluted and inconvenient. As a guest who booked through Trip.com, I couldn't check in at a convenient spot. Instead, I had to lug heavy luggage nearly 200 meters, navigating twists and turns just to find the registration desk. The whole process was exhausting and frustrating. Even though I checked in during the off-season, which should have made things smoother, the queue was filled with complaints. Guests were generally unhappy with the hotel's arrangements. Even with the front desk staff's polite and patient demeanor, it did little to alleviate everyone's poor mood. Next, the hotel's facilities and room experience fell far short of expectations. I specifically booked a room with a pool, but the pool's cleanliness was shockingly bad. There were bugs, ants, and debris on the water surface and around it – I wouldn't dare swim in it. The supposed recreational amenity was useless. The room itself felt very damp, making it uncomfortable to stay in for long. The overall decor was old-fashioned and tacky. Furthermore, the hotel's signage was extremely unclear. Check-in was on the third floor, but to find my room, I had to go to the first floor and then navigate a confusing maze. There was no logical flow, and I spent a lot of energy just trying to find my way around during my stay. Dining was even more disappointing. The breakfast buffet was set up in a conference room, leading to a crowded and chaotic dining experience. It was completely uncomfortable and lacked the quality and atmosphere one would expect from a hotel breakfast. However, the hotel staff's overall service attitude was excellent. They were responsive to issues and even provided a barrier for me, which was one of the few redeeming qualities. For parents traveling with children, I strongly advise against ordering food from delivery platforms. The hotel's in-room dining menu far exceeded expectations. The Hainanese chicken rice, in particular, was outstanding – clean ingredients, excellent taste, and far superior to food from delivery apps like **. This was truly the only pleasant surprise of my stay."

"The sea view was absolutely stunning, and my kids loved it! Head up to the 7th floor rooftop for an even more amazing sunrise and sunset experience. The front desk service was excellent too; they were very prompt with printing and opening doors for us. It's a testament to their popularity that there's a constant stream of guests at the front desk, even at this time of year. The surrounding area, a Tanka fishing village, has a relaxed, down-to-earth vibe that we really enjoyed. In the evening, we could stroll along the boardwalk on the opposite beach and even saw some 'catch-the-sea' aunties (women foraging for seafood). The only minor drawback was that the cleanliness could have been a little better."

It felt as if the AC wasn't on at all, with very little temperature difference from outside, which significantly impacted comfort. 2. **Terrible Breakfast Experience** The family restaurant for breakfast was not sectioned off, leading to overcrowding. There were no numbers given out, nor were guests seated. It was a free-for-all to grab a table. If you couldn't find a seat, you'd end up holding your plate and waiting by a table for others to finish, creating a scene like a wet market. The cleaning staff walked around haphazardly, blocking guests, and showed no service awareness. They mopped the floor but didn't dry it. I personally witnessed a child slip on the wet floor and fall on the back of their head. At the waffle station, when I wanted to get more during cleanup, I found the tongs were gone. When I asked a staff member, ”Are there any tongs?” they glanced at me and said, ”No,” and offered no further assistance. 3. **Dinner Was Also Bad** Hotpot required booking a full hour in advance, which is impossible to manage flexibly with kids. The hotel's Chinese restaurant also had very poor reviews, so we didn't dare try it. For families who prefer to eat in the hotel, the dining options are very unaccommodating. 4. **Overall Service is Concerning** Aside from the polite housekeeping staff and a few front desk employees, the hotel largely lacked any discernible service. Restaurant staff were indifferent, and other departments showed no proactive service awareness. **In summary:** If you're looking for a cheap option with kids to see fireworks, you *could* consider it, but absolutely do not expect anything from the service or dining. The AC is insufficient, breakfast is chaotic, dinner booking is bizarre, and wet floors pose a safety hazard. I recommend either ordering takeout or eating out."

"Came here for a wedding, and the experience was fantastic. Welcome fruit: The fruit was very fresh. My parents didn't realize it was only for the first night, but when they called room service the next day, they still sent another platter. Complimentary mini-bar: The drinks in the fridge were also free, which was a nice touch. Facilities: Although the hotel is a bit older, all the facilities are well-maintained. Overall, it's still clean, hygienic, comfortable, and elegant. Service: From the concierge to room service, all the staff were smiling and incredibly accommodating. Even when I called the front desk late at night, they patiently resolved my issues."

"Before check-in, Summer proactively added me on WeChat to arrange the room. The hotel facilities and design feel a bit outdated. There weren't enough power outlets in the room, and the shower controls weren't clearly marked. However, the bedding and pillows were soft, and Summer promptly helped me switch to buckwheat pillows, which was great service! 👍 The hotel pool is large and has reasonable opening hours from 9 AM to 10 PM, giving plenty of time to enjoy it. Overall, it offers good value for money, and my stay was quite pleasant! 👍"

"Agile community offers a decent guesthouse/hotel that's close to the sea. The front desk provides some complimentary items, but some are only single servings, like coffee and ice cream. While the service is fine, having just one portion of food items seems a bit unbalanced, haha. The commercial street is convenient, but prices at some shops are even noticeably higher than in Haitang Bay. For example, a classic McDonald's trio that usually costs 30 is sold for 54 here. McDonald's and Starbucks are usually good benchmark brands for comparison. In this regard, even though staying in Lingshui might offer better value for money generally, it's worth considering the daily expenses if you opt for a high-value regular hotel. From this perspective, for family travel, choosing a surrounding five-star hotel might actually offer better value in comparison."

"This stay was a truly delightful surprise! Nancy provided excellent service, the room was spotless, and the bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable – you could tell a lot of thought went into the details. The food in the dining department was delicious, beautifully presented, and the staff even offered thoughtful recommendations for signature dishes. The newly opened 'Haomeng Lebao' in the recreation area was well-equipped and spacious, making it perfect for either a workout or just relaxing. But what really stood out was the service from all the staff – warm, attentive, yet always professional. I'll definitely choose this place again for my next visit!"

"The hotel more looks like a bed and breakfast than a 4 star hotel. The room we booked was really small, around 12 square meters. With a balcony outside to sit. However, the view does not worth sitting and many other neighbors are just checking you. The room itself was clean, but inside the community isn't very clean at all. Probably, the highest disappointment comes from the public swimming pool which is a really tiny swimming pool. Their swimming pool is around 2.5 meters to 2.5 meters. So if you're coming to have a nice swimming experience, don't even think about it in this hotel. We booked a room with breakfast included which was around 50 yuan more expensive than if we didn't want any breakfast. Let me be honest with you, their breakfast doesn't worth at all. There's no salad, no seasonal fruit, no bread, no coffee (broken coffee machine) and no desert. Forget all the things you can find in breakfast of normal 4 start hotel, It's just some dumplings, egg and simple corn which you can buy from any shop outside for less than 10 yuan all of them. Overall, the price doesn't fit the service you receive, specifically about the swimming pool and breakfast."

"We had an incredible experience in the hotel on Boundary island. For me the room on the first floor with diving included is the best option on the island. Front desk staff and our diving instructor were very supportive. The sunset walk around the island after the crowds left was amazing. The views from the balcony and sounds of sea waves were spectacular. The only thing I regret that we booked only one night on the island. Two or three nights could be a better option to have enough time to enjoy more activities of this paradise."

He patiently guided us through check-in, helped with our luggage, and even told us which floor the parking was on and where the 'L' level was, which was super convenient for food deliveries.
