I stayed at this homestay last night and was instantly captivated! I have to rave about it from four aspects: cleanliness, environment, service, and facilities.
🌟 Cleanliness: A ”sense of peace” that detail-oriented people will adore
The room was like it had been blessed with a ”cleanliness magic”! The bedding was fluffy and soft, changed after each guest, and there wasn't a single wrinkle in the pillowcase seams; the bathroom tiles were so shiny you could see your reflection, the drain was dry and odorless, and even the window sills and table edges were polished to a shine—the main theme is ”no dirt in sight, no peace of mind.”
🌿 Environment: Bringing the ”Poetic Hongcun” into your life
The homestay is nestled amidst the mountains and waters of Tachuan, and opening the window reveals layers of verdant autumn colors (perfect for the season!). Waking up to birdsong in the morning, watching the sunset paint the white walls and black tiles in the evening, even the air is filled with the fragrance of grass and trees~
The guesthouse itself is in the Huizhou style, with banana trees and bamboo in the courtyard, stone paths adorned with bamboo lanterns. Sitting down for a cup of tea, you feel as if you've stepped into an ancient painting, all your restlessness melting away in this tranquility~
🤵 Service: A heartwarming feeling of ”being at home”
The receptionist's smile is like the warm autumn sun! During check-in, she not only explained in detail the hidden gems of the guesthouse (such as the best time to stargaze from the terrace), but also thoughtfully gave me a hand-drawn ”Hongcun Food Map”~
Wanting some hot water in the middle of the night, I rang the bell and it was brought to me instantly, with an extra blanket and the question, ”Are you cold?”—these details of ”treating guests like family” truly touch the heart!
🛋️ Facilities: A Comforter's Paradise
The bed in the room was just the right firmness; lying on it felt like sinking into a cloud, and I slept soundly until dawn (a dream come true for night owls!). The air conditioning, water heater, and Wi-Fi were all rock solid, so there was no worry about power outages or internet disruptions.
The common areas were also a big plus! The tea room had an old elm wood tea table, and the book bar was filled with local cultural books. Even just relaxing or flipping through a book made for a truly relaxing vacation.
I was so satisfied with my stay! I've already added this guesthouse to my ”must-visit” list and recommended it to friends planning a trip to Hongcun. ”You won't understand until you've stayed here; it truly means 'living amidst the scenery and enjoying it to your very core'!” ✨

The B&B is built from an old house, with green plants, flowers, flowing water and koi, and the design is very clever. The food is good, the auntie cooks delicious dishes, and the most valuable thing is that all the ingredients are green food grown by herself.
The room is clean and tidy, and the proprietress is capable and enthusiastic, and she is always responsive. It rained on the day of arrival, and the proprietress drove to pick us up in person and introduced the scenery along the way.
It is very comfortable for children to live here, perfectly avoiding the noisy crowds on May Day. It is also good to stroll around the surrounding villages, where you can watch tea picking, catch butterflies, and touch stream fish.

I searched on Ctrip for a long time, worried about hygiene issues, but this guesthouse really paid attention to details and was very clean. The moment I opened the door, the automatic welcoming ceremony from 'Xiao Ai' (smart speaker) was very touching. It's right at the entrance of Hongcun and the price is excellent value for money. The proprietress is very kind, and the young man who checked me in, Manager Xiao Wang, was extremely helpful with excellent service. From picking me up at the station to helping me find a car for my travels, he saved me the anxiety and exhaustion of not having a car in Hongcun. The prices were also reasonable. Anyone worried about drivers getting upset in Hongcun can completely entrust their needs to him. At the village entrance, he even used a small electric cart to help with my luggage. There are Hello e-bikes nearby, so you can go to Lucun early in the morning to watch the sunrise. Thank you for providing such a 'utopia' after my busy work. The hygiene was indeed top-notch!

GGuest UserThe whole family travels together, the transportation is very convenient, the navigation is direct, and it is easy to find! I took my parents and Zai Zai with me. The boss was very enthusiastic and introduced the nearby attractions. Since I was bringing Zai Zai, he also introduced which attractions were suitable for Zai Zai. It is only 10 minutes away from Hongcun and it is really convenient. The accommodation and bedding are very comfortable. Yes, the staff are like family members, and the service is attentive. The food we eat is all grown at home, clean and well-prepared. Because we have Zaizai, the meals are prepared with less oil and less salt, which is great! Thank you. I will come again next time!

The hotel arranged our transfer from the train station seamlessly, and even helped us figure out the best way to reach our next destination. Every question we had, every small need — they were always there, smiling and ready to help.
The breakfasts were one of the highlights: homemade, authentic, and absolutely delicious. You can feel the love and care in every dish. The owner of the hotel and the entire staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and truly proud of what they do — and it shows.
Staying at Hongcun Nanhu View Garden was not just accommodation; it was an experience. Peaceful views, beautiful traditional architecture, and a team that goes above and beyond. We couldn’t recommend this place more.

GGuest UserThe B&B is very clean and sanitary. All toiletries are disposable. The towels I brought with me were not used. The old house is also very comfortable to live in. There is a big window to see the scenery. The owner is very enthusiastic. He came out to pick us up to enter the scenic area early in the evening. He also explained the key points on the way. I got a free tour guide. The yard was decorated very carefully by the owner. It can be seen that a lot of thought was put into it. Now the flowers and plants are growing vigorously. Drinking tea in the yard (free and very fragrant 🌝), listening to the tour guide outside the courtyard wall explaining the story of the old city, it is so pleasant 🍃

The room is clean and tidy without any peculiar smell, and the surrounding environment is good and the air is fresh, especially suitable for strolling and relaxing.
Then everyone in the homestay is super nice. The boss will deliver fruit and Huangshan biscuits to our door when we are hungry, and provide us with bicycles to ride out for a walk. The proprietress will give us umbrellas when it rains. The aunt will always ask Do we have enough to eat, are we full (the dishes cooked by my aunt are delicious, I recommend everyone to have a meal at the homestay), and the children are also very polite.
I will come again next time~~

The Anhui-style white walls and dark tiles are nestled among the green mountains, and opening the window reveals a picturesque ink wash painting. The environment is serene and healing. The one-on-one butler service was incredibly attentive, quick to respond, and had a great attitude, making the entire stay effortless. The room facilities were astonishingly complete: tableware, washing machine, oven, induction cooker – everything you could need. The capsule coffee machine and complimentary tea were an excellent bonus. The fresh, plump welcome fruit paired with a handwritten welcome letter added a wonderful touch of ceremony. The holiday experience was perfect, and I'll definitely be back!
