Hotels Near The Promenade in Batu Ampar

Distance from the harbour bay ferry terminal was about 10 mins by car. For those taking private hire, there's a grab/gojek pick-up point outside the mall. Just turn left when you exit arrivals, walk past starbucks and marriott. There's an open air shelter with a gojek sign. We stayed in a smoking room on the 18th floor. Check-in and check out were smooth. Staff everywhere were friendly and helpful. The room was decently sized and reasonably clean with a small balcony. Yes, it was a bit worn down, but for the low price point, it's quite acceptable. No smart tv, but i think over 40 cable channels on the flat screen. AC was cool, and the king-size bed was comfortable with 4 pillows. Small fridge was in good working condition, kept our drinks nice and cold. We were provided only one pair of bedroom slippers instead of two but not an issue. Housekeeping comes by early and daily, which is good. Appreciate the separate shower cubicle and bathtub. Bottled water, tea/coffee, and toiletries provided. Water pressure was good and water temp can go to hot. Strangely, the tap at the bathroom sink could not stay cold. After running for a minute, water would turn hot no matter which way we turned the tap. Caution though, the floor in the bathroom was very slippery when wet. The balcony had a double glass door, probably to cut down on the noise. There's a mosque on the side that we stayed, which had quite constant recitations, so for those sensitive to noise, you might need to request a quieter side. Breakfast was alright, not very varied, but had all the expected stations like egg, cereal, etc. and tasted good. I like that the staff were quite quick to collect your empty plates. No shops around the area but there are fast food and nasi padang if you don't mind walking 10 to 15 mins. Or just get a grab to any mall. All in all, we would return to this hotel.

Good business hotel laying in the heart of Batam Centre. Room is clean and the closets smell like new. Toilet have integrated bidet and is, as well as the shower, well maintained. Breakfast is nice with a various choice of local and western meals. Served by motivated personell who will help you when you need them. The reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I feel that the price / quality is not really correct. In my opinion the price is too high especially when you have to pay extra for breakfast. If you're a businessman this will be the perfect hotel to stay for you. For leisure it's also a good hotel, but there are other hotels over there who will offer you enough for 50% of the price I paid for this hotel.

The first impression once step in was great. I'm a simple person, not that fussy so able to adapt to the environment within expectation. Booked this through Booking.com and was required to paid in cash. Not enough cash in hand. Luis the entrance concierge helped me out. He offered to ride on bike which he explained it will be more safer with him around. Thanked him for that. Entrance concierge - Credit to the young chap, Luis. He's polite and went extra mile. 5/5 Front desk - Always love the culture of the people who provide services here. As always very gentle and polite. But they will look better in standard uniform. 5/5 Room 601/602 - we checked in family of 5. 2 big spacious rooms with kids who are active running around. Cleanliness can be improve. Cups not cleaned. Still have stained. Room 602 not fully utilised with cup spoon, bathroom liquid or bar soap and shampoo not filled. The mattress not comfy as I can feel the spring. The hot water not working. Need to focus on essentials. 2/5 Breakfast - not much variety for budget hotel. Consider good enough. For family with kids, would love to see cereal for kids breakfast. 3/5 Checkout - It was pleasant as we traveled during the holiday of SG. They have taxi standard rate so u don't need to worry to travel around. 4/5 Location - Very near to pubs and shops. 5/5. Walking distance of 15-30mins to Nagoya Hill Mall. Overall Rating - 3.5/5 Thank you for the hospitality.

Me and my family had the chance to stay at Aston Nagoya Hotel. We got check in process was super fast and seamless. We were assigned to a room on the 13th floor and oh boy.. what a nice room. It has the best city view of batam, in the night we can see the lighting of batam. Nearest from food court and shopping mall. All the staff very great service from the security, reception and resto staff. They did a very good job in providing an excellent service. Last but not least, special thank you to the Duty Manager, Mr. Randi who made our stay very memorable. He was very kind and attentive to all our needs throughout the stay. Thumbs up for his great job and effort to make our stay enjoyable. He is a great asset to this company. Definitely will stay here again and highly recommended hotel in Batam!

Breakfast was good, variety was ok on the weekend, however need improve the variety bfast on weekday. We stayed for 5 Night on 14 - 19 Oct and staff were also very friendly, courteous and helpful, especially for Rafft for making our stay extra enjoyable with his great service. Comfy bed, and big bathroom. the location of the hotel is very strategic in the city center and if you want to go to the mall or look for other food options it's only walking distance.

When we arrived at 1400hrs (hotel local time) to check in, unfortunately rooms are not ready. Coz thinking that we can fresh-up in the rooms before proceeding to our spa appointment (at 3pm), we are unable to do so. Therefore, we hv to leave our luggages n bags of shopping stuffs at their luggage storage point and to proceed to our spa appointment. T he rooms are spacious n well equipped with toiletries . Aircon is working well but quite cold. The toilet is clean. The breakfast on the next morning has a wide spread of variety.

Nice gym on top level. big bed and spacious room. Opposite hotel there is indomart but need to cross a busy road. Beside the hotel there is a mini indomart which does not require to cross the main road. Breast spread consider big compare to other batam 4 star hotel.

We stayed as a family of 3 for 2 nights. The room was clean and neat. Check in was fast and hassle free. The staff were helpful and friendly. Location of the villa is good, walking distance to nearby seafood restaurant. Distance to shopping malls is not too far too as you can easily get a Gojek there. It is around 6km to BCS mall and A2 food court. One down side I feel was the lack of variety for the breakfast, it would be good if there is buffet spread. The music from the neighbouring cafe/pub was pretty loud till which could disturb guests who may be there to chill n relax. It didn't bother me very much probably I was tired out so slept pretty well. Overall a pleasant experience staying in this resort. Highly recommended for couples who wish to have a romantic getaway.

I and my wife finally booked and had a chance to stay in Harmoni One Hotel. It was a crowded and busy place before covid-19 outbreak. Proud to see how this hotel still struggle to survive, but also sad at the same time witnessing how empty and quite this place now. Harmoni One still operates hotel room for guesses at 2nd floor. We heard and saw 1-2 other guess at our floor. We stayed in Room 210, deluxed room including breakfast. with wide glass window facing to under construction of Batam One Mall and bushes of surrounding old area. Checked in 5/May/2021 for a nght stay. Thank you to Ms. Rita, he front desk staff who was kindl assited us during check in and make sure our needs in the room is fulfilled. Hotel building looks luxury, located close to Lottemart and Sundanese Warung. Room was spacious, with king size bed, sofa bed ,furniture, mini bar, complimentary coffee/tea and water kettle. Surprising to have a bathtub...so the toilet itself has almost half of bed room's size. However, we understood this hotel is not new, so old carpet smell is unavoided. Internet was good and strong. Room has tv cable with 40 local and foreign channels. They served the breakfast by ala carte menu for main course and fruits, and let bread/toast, juices, coffee/tea stall open for self service. Nasi goreng was good and tasty. The staffs on duty and 1 high shool trainee available on-spot to help. Swimming pool and fitness center at 6th floor are open 9AM-6PM, but we did not try it because this place seems not attended by any staff. We can sleep well in the room. Room was old, but spacious. Having your own pool was awesome. It was spacious even for 4 of us. Aircon is not cold so have to leave it on to cool the room. But service was worth everything. Service was swift and everyone was so polite and courteous, all the staff went out of their way to service us and make us comfortable, from fetching us in the rain with umbrellas and also ferrying us around in buggies. Views are attached in the photos at different parts of the resort from the restaurants we ate in. Never have to leave the resort. The spa also provided the best massages I have experienced. Will definitely come back again.
