Beach Hotels in Onna

Since we had a one-year-old, we looked for a tatami room or a separate room. The room was very pretty, clean, and a tatami room perfect for a baby to sleep in. Although the space was divided by a door, it wasn't a complete room and was just a space that closed without any soundproofing, so we had to play quietly outside after putting the baby to sleep. I heard there was a B&B, but I didn't see it. The facilities felt a bit dated, but it was clean, so there were no inconveniences. The staff were very kind and handled situations very well. I was touched when they came from afar to take a family photo while we were looking at the sea. With amenities like a microwave and a coffee machine, it was an excellent hotel for staying with a baby.

Hotel is clean with fantastic sea view. Counter staff was friendly and helpful. They helped to book for our golf games at the golf course opposite the hotel. Onsen is clean and big. Breakfast can be better. Overall, we are very happy staying in this hotel and will come back again.

Stayed at this hotel for three nights. The room was very spacious, and there were evening performances. The pool downstairs was also great, and my kids had a fantastic time. The food was good too. It was a perfect vacation!

The hotel room is spacious, and the bed is large. The balcony offers an unbeatable sea view. It has a private beach perfect for snorkeling and kayaking, but you need to bring your own equipment as the hotel doesn't provide it. I was very satisfied with the breakfast, service, and facilities – definitely recommend it. The only downside is that you need a taxi to get in and out of the hotel, so it would be a perfect score for those with a car.

I saw reviews mentioning the North Building being older, but my stay there this time completely changed my mind. The facilities are well-maintained, and the room was quite spacious, with plenty of room in the bathroom, bedroom, and balcony! The breakfast selection was relatively limited, and the dishes didn't change much over my two-day stay, but it was acceptable. The hotel is very close to the beach; you step right out onto it, and the sea view is perfect. The water is clear, and the swimming area is open until 5:30 PM, after which swimming is not allowed. To use amenities like beach chairs, golf, water kayaking, and the sauna (seven or eight items in total), you need to purchase a pass at check-in, which then grants free use. Other water activities like snorkeling require an extra fee (you can rent life jackets, goggles, and snorkels to snorkel independently in the hotel's sea area, and there are quite a few small fish near the reefs). Notably, the hotel's seaside boardwalk is beautiful! Few people venture there, especially at sunset, when the scenery is absolutely stunning. The maga zip line charges hotel guests the same as other visitors, which is interesting. It's definitely worth trying.

What we absolutely loved: * Stunning beach and nature: The beach is perfect and super safe for children. There is an incredibly beautiful, winding path along the shore. The rocky coastline, scenic caves, and lush tropical plants make walking around a magical experience. * A winning hotel chain: We highly recommend combining your trip with their sister property. If you do travel to Ishigaki, stay at ANA InterContinental Ishigaki Resort—it is easily one of the finest hotels on that island. Both resorts represent the absolute top tier of hospitality. * Flawless service despite flight issues: Our only complaint about the entire trip goes to ANA Airlines, as our return flight to Tokyo was delayed by 8 hours, which was quite exhausting. However, this is strictly an airline issue. It has nothing to do with the hotels themselves and their wonderful, dedicated staff who did an impeccable job. The local Okinawans at the resort are the sweetest and most welcoming people. Between the brilliant service, incredible nature, and great facilities, this was a dream vacation!

The room condition and facilities were really great! You could even see the ocean from the terrace, haha. However, the downside is that there are no restaurants or convenience stores within walking distance, so you have to drive out. But there's a barbecue area, and a mini convenience store on the first floor, so you can grab snacks at the hotel. Anyway, it's a quiet and comfortable place.

Value for money. The room was spacious featuring a tatami area, a large bathroom and a kitchen. *No pots or plates etc* A convenience store directly opposite and many restaurants within walking distance. Free parking is also a great bonus. Despite being located on a main road, the room was quiet and comfortable. Decent playground next to it, good for family with kids. There are also few diving centres around the corner.

The homestay is on the hillside. I chose a sea view room. I can see the sea in the distance when I open the door. The price is really cheap. Breakfast needs to be reserved in advance, 900 yen. And it feels like home, the room is also very large, and the shower water is also very large. Two nights here turned out to be the best two nights I slept in Okinawa. The only downside is that the homestay is on the hillside. It is very exercised to climb up the gluteus muscle, especially dragging a big box, which is really tired, so it is really suitable for driving a family to live. In addition, there are no street lights on both sides of the road at night, plus the mountain road is indeed a bit dark, I am a little scared by myself, but in fact, there is nothing quite safe. It has been raining in Okinawa before coming, but it was sunny on the day of check-in. Next to Enna Beach, you can go to the sun. It’s only a 15-minute walk away and there is a convenience store.

Excellent location and service, the location is superb, being close to not only beaches, but also in-between Yomitan and Onna (and OIST university, if you'd like to visit your friends). There's also a combini right next doors(!. Cape Maeda, Zakimi Castle is also all at cycleable distance!
