The location is superb, right by Harbour City and just a stone's throw from Victoria Harbour. We arrived from Zhuhai in the morning, around 11 AM, and were able to check-in early and store our luggage. We then immediately started our exploration of dining and shopping. Around 3 PM, I asked for our room number and was surprised with an upgrade! The room was super spacious, and the bathroom even had a shower. It also came with USB charging ports, so I didn't need to bring a power adapter. The bed was huge and very comfortable. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Hong Kong.

I was originally supposed to transit in Hong Kong on July 14th, but due to a typhoon, I was worried about my connecting flight. So, on the evening of July 11th, I scrambled to book an earlier flight to Hong Kong. Because of the typhoon concerns, my family only hastily booked the hotel after I had boarded the plane.

I've been to Hong Kong too many times, and I usually avoid Tsim Sha Tsui because it's simply too crowded. Plus, this hotel is only four-star and in a busy area, so my preconceived notions led me to believe it wouldn't be great. Well, I was proven wrong; this place is fantastic! Super satisfied. It's better than many five-star hotels I've booked in Hong Kong.

Special thanks to Jacky Wu at the front desk for check-in. By the time I arrived at the hotel, it was nearly midnight. It seemed like there were two guests ahead of me encountering different issues, and he was handling them urgently. I was already very tired, and my two children were exhausted too. I wanted to check in quickly but had to wait. While waiting, I observed that he was very humble and polite to these guests, and I could tell he was genuinely anxious to help them resolve their problems, all while remaining calm and composed.

When it was my turn, he sincerely apologized for the long wait. I've stayed in many Hong Kong hotels, but I personally feel that many five-star hotels, due to the busy and high-pressure work environment, tend to be cold and mechanical in their communication. It's not discrimination, but I just don't really like it.

The reason I'm giving Jacky Wu a special mention is because I saw that even under high-pressure work, he was still able to solve many problems with warmth and care.

The room was incredibly spacious. The executive lounge was also good. I won't go into too much detail about these; you can see for yourself in the photos – what you see is what you get.

There was also a minor incident: when checking out, I left a bag in the hotel lobby. I only realized it when I got to the airport. I called the hotel, and they quickly confirmed they had found it. Luckily, I still had plenty of time before my flight, so I took the MTR back to pick it up, and the two-hour round trip was manageable.

During my stay, the cleaning staff for our room and the executive lounge attendants were all very enthusiastic and friendly.

The room was quiet, though ventilation wasn't great, but acceptable. The hygiene was good, and I didn't encounter any bugs like some negative reviews mentioned. The location is good, within Harbour City, but the hotel isn't very prominent, so it took some time to find. It's a bit of a walk from the MTR station, but still convenient. After dinner, a stroll will get you to Victoria Harbour to enjoy the night view. The front desk staff were all very polite, courteous, and proactively helped with luggage. The breakfast offered a decent mix of Western and Chinese options, and the service staff were enthusiastic and organized. Overall, my stay was a good experience, and I would choose this hotel again for my next trip.

The biggest impression during my stay was the high-quality service at the front desk. Upon arrival at the hotel to check in, the front desk staff were warm and polite, very skilful and efficient, with no long waits. When inquiring about check-in benefits and nearby travel routes, the staff patiently and thoroughly answered and proactively offered practical advice. After reporting any issues, the response was prompt, and the handling was appropriate and professional, which was very satisfying. The room environment is well maintained, with all facilities in good condition, making it comfortable and convenient to use. The hotel is in a prime location, close to commercial districts, making travel and dining very convenient. The front desk team provides well-mannered, warm, and welcoming service without being overly intrusive, which is very good. The entire stay was smooth and pleasant, and the thoughtful, attentive service at the front desk greatly enhanced the experience. It's suitable for both business trips and leisure trips, highly recommended. I will choose to book again next time I come to Xiamen. Highly recommended

We had a wonderful stay at the Marco Polo Plaza. The hotel offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, and the views from the Nivel Hills are absolutely stunning. Our room was clean, spacious, and provided the perfect environment for a relaxing getaway.
What really stood out, however, was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly professional and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable throughout our visit. From the delicious breakfast buffet to the well-maintained pool area, everything exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be returning!
