When I booked, I requested a high floor, a quiet room, and a good sea view. Upon check-in, the front desk lady recommended a sea view room on the 15th floor. Although it was a bit smaller than the sea view rooms on lower floors, it felt larger than I expected once I was in it, about 20-something square meters. I borrowed a power adapter from the hotel, and they were very prompt in refilling bottled water for free during my stay. Aside from the room decor looking a bit dated, everything else was fine. The location is also very convenient, right next to the Star Ferry Terminal, Avenue of Stars, and Harbour City.

Let's start with the positives: It has two 1.2-meter single beds, perfect for business trips. The price is reasonable, and the location is excellent, right below Harbour City, behind Van Cleef & Arpels, making it very easy to find. It's exactly a 15-minute walk via navigation to West Kowloon Station and Austin MTR Station, a straight line, super easy to get to. The hotel's second-floor elevator connects directly to Harbour City, so you just step out and you're there. Now for the downsides: The room had a strong musty smell. Both the mattress and pillows were uncomfortable, and I was so cold my legs ached. The duvet was very thin.

The moment I stepped into the elevator, I realized we were on the 16th floor, the executive floor. I thought perhaps the front desk had given us the wrong key card! I was so happy that for just over 1,000, we could stay on the executive floor. The room itself was big and clean, much better than I had imagined. The hotel's location is excellent, right inside Harbour City, and very close to Victoria Harbour and the Avenue of Stars. With shopping centers all around, it was incredibly convenient for my family to go shopping. I've been to Hong Kong several times before, but I've never stayed at the Prince Hotel. I actually regret that now, but from now on, this will be my go-to hotel whenever I visit Hong Kong. It's truly a hotel I love.

Kicking off my Fujian trip during the Chinese New Year holiday, Xiamen was my third stop, and I chose to stay at the Marco Polo Hotel. I had a great experience here many years ago, so I decided to return after twelve years, and the experience was still excellent. The front desk lady upgraded me to an executive floor, and the hotel's facilities are very well maintained. The hygiene is excellent, truly meeting five-star hotel standards. The location is convenient, not far from the metro station, and the surroundings are lovely, right next to Yuandang Lake Park. Another pleasant experience, highly recommended!

I had a great stay! The service was really nice and staff were all friendly and accommodating. The facilities were impressive— especially the gym, which was amazingly clean and well-maintained. The food was excellent, with plenty of options to choose from. Overall, a very enjoyable experience and definitely worth recommending!
