Facilities: The facilities are very complete and female-friendly. There are disposable face masks, makeup remover, and even children's hair clips and ties – many small surprises! Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: The room felt like a small suite, very spacious. Breakfast was also good. Service: Everyone, from the front desk staff to the security guards downstairs and the airport transfer service, was very friendly. Airport shuttle service (8:00 AM - 6:00 PM): I have to commend the airport drop-off service. We had originally scheduled a 9 AM departure for the airport but thought it was too early and canceled. The driver actually came back specifically to pick us up again! He chatted with us and gave us recommendations along the way, and his attitude was extremely friendly. My parents, who I was traveling with, kept praising him. It was a very satisfying experience.

This is my second time here. The environment is great, perfect for taking photos. The front desk staff are super enthusiastic, and even the cleaning aunties greet you warmly when you see them. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hailar!

It's pretty good, I slept very well, but the price changing every day is annoying. Overall, it's okay, I'm used to giving good reviews.

Whatever reservations about how the place is eerie, or overcrowded, or strange varnish smells, are all out the window when we arrived. We were gobsmacked from the scale, wonderful amenities, photo opportunities from the matryoshka hotel. The 2 bedroom was big and spacious, supremely comfortable. Breakfast was awesome with much variety. And we appreciate the proximity to the scenic area. A great experience and good value for money. A map of the hotel with its location within the scenic area would have been perfect. Feel a bit lost within the scale of the project.

The girl at the front desk was a warm Sichuan sister. We arrived at Hailar at 9 o'clock in the evening. She called and let us drive slowly. She sent WeChat to let us be careful about animals on the road. Woodcuts are full of exotic customs, which makes our eyes shine and very excited. Woodcuts are a common problem, and tourists who are too concerned should avoid them so that everyone is not comfortable. Those who like woodcut must experience this style of house, especially those who like to take pictures, which is very popular. Behind the room, a river flows slowly and is beautiful. There are also yurts on the pasture, and those who like yurts can have other choices. The next day I saw the owner, a very connotation boy, gentle and Jiangnan man's shadow, but unlike the man hunting wind on the grassland. Because the horse of the pasture was to be shipped out for wild ride the next day, but the owner still specially left some horses, and we were not transported until we finished riding. The simplicity of the Mongolians was visible.

It’s located right next to the border on a sketchy looking road so there’s a lot of truckers. It’s across from the scenic area which is convenient if you want to go there but I wouldn’t recommend going there because they have cruel animal performances such as lions and a bear. It was so awful to watch. They hit the lions who weren’t obedient. So sad. The hotel is too far from all the restaurants and the main downtown area so that was inconvenient. The owner was very kind though. He gave us these Russian candies that were delicious and impossible to buy. :( There is one washer on every floor but no dryer so you need to hang dry your clothes which is a bit inconvenient. There isn’t any breakfast option - it’s the same every day and it is delivered to your room which made me feel like quarantine again but at least the timing is flexible as you could sleep in and have it delivered whenever you want.

At a hotel near the border, the rooms opposite offered views of a Russian town. My Matryoshka-themed room had a direct view of the Matryoshka Hotel and the Ferris wheel. The staff were very welcoming; they even opened the opposite room for us to see the Russian town and the border crossing. The landlady was very kind. Downstairs, in her own restaurant, many Russians were eating, so we ate there. The food was delicious and quite unique!

The hotel experience is great! The room is spacious and bright, the mattress is very comfortable, the bathroom facilities are complete, and the service is warm and thoughtful. The key is that the whole house is smart, the experience is full, and it makes people feel good. It is near the square and there are many snacks around, which is very convenient!
