Guest UserClean hotel with basic amenities, with pretty rooms.❤️ Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, a half an hour's walk to the Eiffel tower 🗼and lots of museums🎨. There are a lot of train/metro stations nearby🚝🚉, a minute or two away. There is an overwhelm of award winning cafes ☕🥐 everywhere so you are spoilt for choice. The check-in process is very smooth, the staff friendly. The room is quiet, you cannot hear the street outside with closed windows, but you might hear your neighbours showering/coughing. Overall great stay 😊

Cstover85The hotel itself is very nice, clean, and well maintained. The housekeeping staff does an excellent job each day, and the front desk team is consistently friendly and professional. Overall, the service from staff was a strong highlight of my stay. The location was decent, although getting around took a bit longer than expected—this may simply be due to the metro system rather than the hotel itself.
Unfortunately, the main issue I experienced was with the air conditioning, which significantly impacted my stay. Upon arrival, the room felt quite warm, with the thermostat reading 21°C. I initially assumed this was due to the time of day, but after being out for several hours, the room remained uncomfortably hot. When I reported this to the front desk, I was told everything was functioning properly.
That night, the heat made it very difficult to sleep. The next morning, I requested a fan from the manager and was assured it would be placed in my room. However, when I returned later that evening, there was no fan, and the room felt even warmer. After another visit to the front desk, they adjusted the system to 18°C. Despite this, the room temperature did not improve.
Upon further review, staff discovered that while the system displayed 18°C, the actual room temperature was 27°C. They apologized and offered to move me to a different room with a twin bed for the night, which I accepted since the original room was uninhabitable due to the heat. I was told the air conditioning unit would be repaired the following day.
The next morning, I confirmed with the front desk that the repair would be completed while I was out. However, when I returned in the evening, nothing had been fixed. I was then informed that the technician was not working that day, and the only option available was to move to a downgraded room. I accepted again out of necessity, but the new room was significantly smaller. Unfortunately, no compensation or refund was offered for the inconvenience or downgrade.
Even after switching rooms, the issues continued, as the air conditioning repeatedly turned off and required additional trips to the front desk to resolve.
In summary, this is a well-maintained hotel with excellent staff and good overall value. However, the air conditioning issues were a major drawback. If having reliable climate control is important to you—especially during warmer months—you may want to consider this before booking.

Guest UserTThe hotel is exceptionally stylish and has a very nice, modern aesthetic. The design is chic and the atmosphere is welcoming.
The wooden floors are a major issue for noise. We could clearly hear movement from the room above, the room next door, and even our own footsteps echoed. The sound insulation is very poor.
Beautiful hotel, but would not recommend if you are a light sleeper or sensitive to noise.

The room was very well-equipped, with cooking utensils provided, and the dishwasher was a big plus; however, the air conditioning and heating systems kept turning off automatically, and the heater wouldn't turn on. After we reported this, the hotel provided breakfast for us one day because the repairs didn't take place until after check-out! Very nice! 👍🏻

LiliichanI stayed for 7 days.
The location is excellent, and I felt at ease knowing that English was spoken.✨
**Location:**
It's within walking distance of the Arc de Triomphe and Avenue des Champs-Élysées, meaning there are tons of train and bus lines available! You can even get to the Eiffel Tower and Disneyland without any transfers. Access to Charles de Gaulle Airport is also good, taking about 50 minutes by train or 35 minutes by car. I also went to Orly Airport for one night to visit Nice. You can get to the airport line (CDG, ORLY) with just one transfer, so the location is truly fantastic.
**Amenities:**
Water and potato chips were provided daily. Tea and a kettle were also available, which was a nice touch. There are no toothbrushes, pajamas, or slippers. I brought my own slippers to use in the room. I never quite figured out why some days there were no chips or water (lol).
**Cleanliness:**
Bed making was done meticulously every day. It seems towels are only replaced if left on the floor; they weren't replaced on days I left them on the shelf.

AMY·zhouThe cleanliness was passable – at least I didn't get bitten by bugs, but the bugs in the elevator lobby were a different story...
The environment was decent. Many European tour groups stay here. The hotel is right next to the subway, and our room was on the side closer to the park, so it was very quiet.
One time, we left the room with the key card in to keep the power on, but when we came back after grabbing a bite, the key card was gone. I went to the front desk to ask about it. I told them it's fine if they remove it, but they should leave it on the counter. Otherwise, what if they accuse me of missing a card, or what if they use a key card to enter my room whenever they want? A middle-aged woman, who seemed like a local French person, was incredibly arrogant. She didn't even look at me properly and simply replied, 'We just took it out.'
The bathtub drain was clogged, so I had to pull out the stopper every day.

TravellingMoWe booked 3 rooms here at Lyf Paris Gambetta. It was amazing. The location is the best, there are two metro stations within an 8 minute walk. My whole family enjoyed it so much, there are many shops nearby so getting food is very easy. The hotel itself had many amenities, including gym and sauna, as well as a beautiful courtyard that you could eat your own food at. The Eiffel Tower was only 30-40 minutes away via metro. The staff were exceptional and kind, they helped us with all our needs. A special thanks to Darien and Rubel, who were very hospitable and kind to us during our stay.
Definitely will stay at this hotel if I come back to Paris.

The hotel's location is excellent: close to the metro, McDonald's, and a grocery store are very close, and all the city center attractions are within walking distance.
The staff is helpful and polite.
The hotel is in good condition, with a working elevator and plenty of TV channels. The room is small, like all Paris hotels.
The most important thing in winter is that the hotel is very warm!
The bathroom had a window :)
Cons:
- No kettle in the room
- Safe doesn't work
- Very small shower stall (barely fits a 90+ kg person)

We spent 6 nights with my sister and the staff were all so friendly and attentive! The room has all the necessary amenities but there’s no AC so we had to open the window to get some fresh air. During our stay, the restaurant downstairs was closed and the food selection at the rooftop bar was very limited. The other thing is this hotel is right on the border of a sketchy neighborhood so while it’s safe, I would be highly cautious. All in all, it made sense for us because we were gone the whole day and only were at the hotel to sleep.
