"Facilities: The room was exactly as pictured, quite small. There was barely enough space to open one suitcase, and definitely no room for two. However, the bathroom was surprisingly spacious, especially compared to the room itself. There's a tiny elevator that can only fit one person and one suitcase at a time. Environment: The soundproofing wasn't great, but honestly, I feel like many buildings in Paris have similar soundproofing issues. After a long day of sightseeing, I was so exhausted I'd just crash and sleep, so I didn't really notice any noise. The hotel's location is fantastic; public transport and dining options are incredibly convenient, which is a big plus. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was much better than I expected. I honestly thought it would be a bit dirty and had low expectations, but it turned out to be quite decent. Service: The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly. On a side note, the hotel breakfast was genuinely very good! All the bread was delicious, the yogurt was tasty, and the coffee was even better. To be honest, we stayed at two hotels in Paris, and the baguette and croissants at the other 4-star global chain hotel weren't as good as this small hotel's breakfast, and neither was the coffee. This unexpectedly delicious breakfast really added a lot of points to my overall impression of this hotel!"

"It's a bit of a walk from Gare du Nord to get there. It's not a particularly large hotel; 'inn' might be a more accurate description. There's an elevator, but it's very small, probably only fitting three or four people at most. Breakfast is the same every day. The bread seems to be freshly baked each morning – on my first few mornings in Paris, when I wasn't quite over the jet lag, I could smell the aroma of bread right from my room. However, after seeing cockroaches in the dining area on the third morning, I completely lost my appetite. The service is decent, and there's a hot water dispenser in the dining area."

GGuest UserThis hotel was one of the most beautiful during my trip. Everything was very close by, and the receptionists were very kind. The room was very clean, spacious, and had everything I needed. The hotel's infrastructure made me feel like I was in a beautiful, very Parisian place. I was absolutely charmed by my stay in Paris.

GGuest UserThis hotel is part of the Palais des Congrès de Paris complex, and it's one of the few high-rise buildings in the city. From my 8th-floor room facing south, I could see both the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe. Getting to the metro is super convenient; you can walk directly through the convention center, which is a huge plus in often rainy Paris. The breakfast was incredibly rich, offering rice, omelets, stir-fried vegetables, and over five kinds of fruit, plus hazelnut chocolate. The room was quite spacious by Parisian standards. Just a heads-up, Montmartre Hill, as shown in some photos, isn't actually visible – I had to stick my phone out the window to capture it. Now, a special warning about the taxis right outside the hotel. They are dishonest, so be careful. Taxis from Charles de Gaulle Airport to central Paris have a fixed zone-based fare: 65 euros for the Left Bank and 56 euros for the Right Bank. If you order a taxi via an app or phone, there's an additional 4-euro booking fee. We took a taxi from the hotel, which is on the Right Bank. The concierge confirmed the fixed fare would be 56 euros. However, after hailing a taxi right outside, the driver tried to charge us 65 euros (the Left Bank rate) plus a 4-euro booking fee upon arrival at the airport. After a lengthy argument, and even calling the hotel, the driver finally charged 56 euros plus the 4-euro booking fee. So, even after arguing, we still ended up paying the extra booking fee. KKingSpringMelodyThe environment: I chose to stay here because it's quite close to Lyon Station. We were given a connecting room, which was pretty clean, though the space was a bit small and having two bathrooms didn't really make much sense. The elevator is located on a half-landing of the spiral staircase, so you have to carry your luggage up or down half a flight of stairs both when arriving and departing. On the day we checked out, the elevator was broken, and only one staff member helped us carry our luggage down from the 6th floor. The breakfast service was good.

DDaitieGreat little hotel on the outer skirts of Paris. It's decently located within a 10 minute walk of 2 metro stations. There's a small gym that's 24hr, co working space and a restaurant as well as a laundromat on site. Reception is open 24 hours and they're very friendly and will try their best to cater to your needs. The rooms are extremely clean, and has all the amenities you would normally need (except a spoon to stir the coffee). They provide a reusable glass bottle to take on your day out (which is purchasable if you would like) and they have water refill stations throughout the hotel. For the price i can't complain. Brand new hotel, you can still smell the paint! Extremely clean. Comfy beds (though the sheets are quite thick and I felt a little warm even when the air con was on full blast!) Would definitely recommend if you don't mind the travel into central Paris (I'm from London so the commute is nothing compared to the London underground). Supermarkets and small brasseries located nearby and there's also a restaurant thats open till late that provides drinks and food.

AAlb33It was a lovely staying after Christmas and wonderful location for tourists. The room is relatively big and very comfortable, you’d have a tiny modern kitchen with cutlery, water boiler and hob as well as a fridge. Not to mention the blackout curtains did the job! We had a very good sleep for 2 nights :) The receptionist was very kind and helping! He recommended a restaurant called ‘Au Relais’ for lunch nearby and it turned out absolutely amazing!! At last, we really enjoyed the coffee machine in the lobby so cheap and convenient!

11891324****The hotel has few rooms, and the rooms are quite small. A 20-inch suitcase needs to be stepped over to fit. The bathroom door is a sliding glass door facing the bed, which is inconvenient and affects sleep at night. The good thing is that they provide bottled water and slippers. Breakfast selection is limited: various breads, a fruit pastry (I don't know what kind of sauce it had, it was sour), and smoked salmon and ham slices – one was too fishy, the other too greasy, the taste was different from other hotels, I couldn't eat them. The scrambled eggs had butter on them, which I also didn't like, and there were no fried eggs. Overall, the hotel's location is excellent, with major attractions nearby; Notre Dame Cathedral is a 5-minute walk, and the Louvre is a 13-minute walk. The service was very warm and patient; they even used a translator to translate for me, kudos to the front desk! 👍 However, regarding payment, I chose Alipay for payment after use, which is only available to credit card holders, but I still needed to pay a deposit by credit card upon arrival, which I don't understand. Hotels in other countries I booked didn't require a deposit; I should have paid directly. The deposit refund said it would take half a month, which is quite troublesome.

SStuart22The Pullman Bercy is ideal if you want a relaxed, modern hotel in an extremely safe and accessible neighbourhood. Great for those who value comfort and luxury. + Location: From the hotel it's a few mins walk to the M14 line, a new and safe metro line that is connected tobAirport Orly and Gare du Lyon train station (RER A/B trains to Disneyland Paris and Charles de Gaulle Airport). M14 can also take you into central Paris to see the Louvre, Notre Dame and Palais Garnier within 30mins. + Cleanliness: The room, including water and towels, was refreshed daily. + Air Conditioning: The a/c worked well and kept the room at a comfortable temperature. - The TV did not have chromecast or similar wifi-streaming features available.

CCheuw MeiCentral location, very close to Amsterdam Central train station. Quite noisy at night as it is in the middle of the walking street, busy night life. Very small room but good for solo traveller. No lift, so people with big luggage be mentally prepared to manually lift up heavy luggage using the crazily steep staircase.

AAMAKA SPARKLEVery horrible hotel for black female travellers. I stayed at the Originals with my friend for 3 nights, then another 2 nights. We pre-booked and paid for the 3 nights in FULL before arrival. Upon arrival, we were charged a deposit of €150 Euros which was explained to be a security deposit to be returned after checkout.I had no issues with that and focused on exploring Paris. There was a day my room wasn’t cleaned and I complained to a mixed lady at the hotel reception politely to inform the cleaner and she condescendingly looked at me and blurted “I’m not the cleaner”. I never asked her to be one, I only informed her so she can tell the cleaners to make a stop at my room and refill the shower gel, replace soap and toilet paper. The day I checked out, I missed my flight due to the Paris traffic and had to reschedule my flight to the next available date which was in 48 hours which meant I needs to stay in Paris for another 2 nights. I headed back to the hotel. I don’t know why but our cards refused to work despite being funded. We had some Euros cash left in cash and paid for one extra night. The next day, we asked to extend but our cards wouldn’t work. We informed them that we needed to get some sleep but would try an ATM or go to a BDC to change some Dollars. In between, the cleaner came to the room and yanked off our key card cutting off the light supply, we were barraged with calls from the reception threatening that security was going to escort us out of the room. It’s wild because most of their staff is black and yet they treated us like ****. We saw how white guests were treated and black guests and the difference was clear. Maybe they had an assumption and became discriminatory towards us. Note that 4 nights out of 5 was already paid in FULL and they had a security deposit of over 200 Euros with them. We had to abandon everything and rush to an ATM to withdraw more cash💰 to pay for the final day. Let’s not get into the fact that one of their staff ******* almost tried to be ****** with me. I got into the elevator to go and get water at the restaurant on the 8th floor, he kept looking at my boobs and made suggestive comments about wanting to spend the night with me. He also insisted on a hug. I cried from the experience of that hotel and very horrified. As a travel content creator, I will document my experience with videos when I’m back home and share YouTube videos. If you’re a Nigerian or black woman, please avoid THE ORIGINALS. I was excited to be here but it turned into a nightmare. As a business owner myself and CEO of 3 thriving companies, I saw some many lapses in their customer service. The entire place needs a staff overhaul.
