GGuest UserShowers: The communal shower on the fourth floor feels more spacious, has a larger showerhead, and hooks, compared to the one in the room. Storage: Card payment is more convenient; you might not have coins. It's a maximum of 9 euros per day (remember to enter the locker number first, then the password when opening later). Supermarket: There's a chain supermarket, bookstore, and coffee shop nearby, across the street. Roommates: Mostly from neighboring European countries, very pleasant to chat with. Kitchen: You can boil water. Chinese guests might want to buy bottled water from the supermarket as the tap water has a slight taste. You can also heat baguettes, and all sorts of cutlery are available.

GGuest UserThere are paid luggage lockers available on Level 6 near the café area. I rented a medium-sized locker, as the large lockers were sold out. However, there was no clear indication of the locker dimensions prior to purchase. After completing the payment, I realized that the medium locker was not large enough to accommodate my 24” luggage. As a result, I had no alternative but to leave my luggage in a corner of the room. I returned to the property to check in at approximately 8:30–9:00 PM. Upon approaching the front desk, the staff member informed me that her shift had ended and that her colleague was scheduled to take over. However, her colleague was not present at the counter and was reportedly at the Level 6 café, as seen on the CCTV monitor. I was asked to wait for more than 10 minutes, and in total, the process took approximately 15 minutes before she eventually assisted with registering my passport. While I appreciate that she completed the check-in for me, I was unclear why the registration could not have been handled immediately, as it only required a few minutes. Additionally, the staff member who was scheduled to be on duty did not appear during this time. Overall, the room was clean, and I particularly like the curtains, which provided good privacy. Theres spaces to keep our shoes and luggages in the room, and remember to bring a lock padif you worried things might get stolen. The shared bathrooms were maintained at an acceptable level of cleanliness. I had a pleasant four-night stay, and the location is very convenient, with easy access to the metro. However, there are a few areas for improvement. It would be beneficial to have a small pantry area where guests could sit, relax, or have their meals. Providing basic amenities such as a microwave and a water kettle would also enhance the overall guest experience.

AAchengdebairimengGreat location, right next to the metro station and very close to Gare du Nord, which is super convenient for getting to the airport. The room itself was perfectly fine; the bed was clean, the bathroom had no strange odors, and it was cleaned daily.

PPhilaI stayed at this hotel for a few nights and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. I checked in after midnight following a long day of travel and, being exhausted, didn’t double-check whether I’d been given the room I actually paid for. The next morning, I woke up early for a 5am bike tour and noticed something felt off, but I was too tired to fully process it. When I returned from the tour and tried to nap, I was woken by loud noise from the hallway, followed by a call from reception saying someone needed to come into my room to fix the air conditioning—something I wasn’t even aware was an issue. I was half-asleep but let them in because they insisted. The next morning, I was woken up again—this time by very loud noise from the room next door. I finally checked my booking on Trip.com and realized I hadn’t been given the room I reserved, which included a city view. I went to reception and explained the issue. The man at the front desk told me very bluntly that the hotel prioritizes placing families in rooms next to each other and that, because I was traveling alone, I was not a priority. That’s why I didn’t get the room I paid for. This was extremely disappointing—not only because I didn’t receive what I booked, but also because of the lack of communication and the way the situation was handled. I understand that room adjustments happen, but to downgrade a guest without informing them, then justify it by saying they’re “not a priority” is simply unacceptable. The location is great, but unfortunately, the service and disregard for guest comfort left me feeling very unwelcome.

KKristel LetsirkPerfect Location, Pristine, and Welcoming! My recent stay at Hotel Richmond near Gare du Nord was a truly positive experience, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Paris. Location: ★★★★★ (5/5) The location is absolutely fantastic. Being just a stone's throw from Gare du Nord makes arrivals and departures incredibly convenient, especially for those utilizing Eurostar or other train services. Despite the bustling area, the hotel itself felt like a quiet haven. It's also very well-connected to public transport, making it easy to explore all of Paris's attractions. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, and cafes right on the doorstep. Cleanliness: ★★★★★ (5/5) I was genuinely impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel. From the lobby to my room, everything was spotless and well-maintained. The room felt fresh and inviting, and the bathroom was impeccably clean. It's clear that the staff takes great pride in ensuring a hygienic and comfortable environment for guests. Friendly Service: ★★★★★ (5/5) The staff at Hotel Richmond truly elevated my stay. Every interaction, from check-in to check-out, was met with warmth, professionalism, and genuine helpfulness. The reception staff were particularly friendly. Overall, Hotel Richmond offers a wonderful balance of convenience, comfort, and excellent service. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Paris!

Ssunju.imStaff are very friendly and extremely nice! The room was also very big and spacious which is rare for Paris. And also location was so central was great. But the bath tub was not clean and the room is quite old - you can tell by the walls for instance. Would say pretty good value for money if you’re in and out a lot (so you’re paying for the location) but if you care about the room quality, then would consider other options in Paris.

GGuest UserCheap hotel, convenient location. For this price, there's really nothing to complain about. There's no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage yourself. As for soundproofing, at this price point, you shouldn't expect much – anyone who's particular about soundproofing wouldn't stay here anyway. The underfloor heating was excellent, very warm. I thought it was pretty good, just the bathroom was a bit dirty. The cleaning gentleman (the Black uncle) was very nice! 👍

GGuest UserThe hotel provided a comfortable and pleasant stay overall. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient, and the staff were courteous and helpful throughout the visit. The room was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with the essential amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Housekeeping was consistent and responsive to requests. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and transportation options, which made getting around very manageable. The hotel facilities were generally well-kept, and the common areas were clean and welcoming. While there is always room for minor improvements, the overall experience was positive and offered good value for the price paid. This property is a solid choice for travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and reliable service. I would consider staying here again in the future.

GGuest UserIt was my second time in this hotel, I chose it again because it is very well connected by metro with big nodes such as the Gare du Nord and Bastille. The room is simple, clean and use-friendly, with a good bed, at (for Paris) very interesting prices. I specified to have a room on the back of the building, and this has been successful. Friendly staff. I was going to get a snack in the evening and found the next morning myrs around the waste box.

SSyed Ali Abb@s RizviThe hotel was very good overall, and the location was also decent. The nearest bus stop was only a 3-minute walk away, while access to the underground metro was around 10 to 14 minutes on foot. The tram stop was also within a 10 to 14-minute walking distance. The building itself was nice, clean, and felt fresh. Separate lockers were available, which could be used by paying a fee, allowing guests to store their luggage even after check-out. However, the security was not very good. In case of any incident, the staff does not actively help and usually just provide an email address or ask you to contact the police. It’s important to keep this in mind and stay cautious during your stay.
