AAnonymous UserAccessibility and Location: We were mindful that Montmarte is a hilly, cobbled location; therefore, on arrival and departure taxi or Uber would be the most convenient way with large luggages. It's brilliantly located within walking distances of fabulous bars, restaurants, and main sights of Montmarte. About 450-550 meters within Metro stops of Lamarck and Chateau Rouge. Cleanliness: The room we were in had a bit of a body odour smell on arrival, which was disappointing. Thankfully the windows can be opened so that solved the issue. Comfort: Beds and pillows were comfortable. Service: Good breakfast service. The staff were welcoming and attentive. Good coin laundry service.

AAyeshaULovely stay at The Best Western Empire Elysees. Only stayed one night and was the perfect location with two metro stations nearby, Ternes and Charles de Gaulle - Etoile. But also about 15-18 minutes walk to Arc de Triomphe and to the bustling streets of Champs-Elysees. We were 3 adults in one room and unlike some other hotels we have stayed in, this room felt larger as well as the bathroom with a double sink.  We had breakfast at the hotel, which felt a little cramped and there was no one to tell us where to sit when we got to breakfast. There were hot breakfast choices as well as cheeses, pastries and cereals. Was enough.  Hotel reception staff were friendly and we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel after check out as we had an evening flight. All in all, a very good stay.

SStuart22The Pullman Bercy is ideal if you want a relaxed, modern hotel in an extremely safe and accessible neighbourhood. Great for those who value comfort and luxury. + Location: From the hotel it's a few mins walk to the M14 line, a new and safe metro line that is connected tobAirport Orly and Gare du Lyon train station (RER A/B trains to Disneyland Paris and Charles de Gaulle Airport). M14 can also take you into central Paris to see the Louvre, Notre Dame and Palais Garnier within 30mins. + Cleanliness: The room, including water and towels, was refreshed daily. + Air Conditioning: The a/c worked well and kept the room at a comfortable temperature. - The TV did not have chromecast or similar wifi-streaming features available.

GGuest UserSeveral major attractions are not far away. Except for the Paris Opera House, which can be reached by foot, the rest can be reached by subway or bus. The small supermarket downstairs is quite convenient. There is a one-way street at the door, but you need to take a detour to take a taxi. The surrounding subways are not very close. It takes six or seven minutes to walk, and it takes 15️⃣ minutes to walk. The hotel toiletries are from Nuxe. You can ask the front desk for slippers. The breakfast is very simple and has everything you need. It is no problem to eat full. I personally think it is a bit far from the Ory Airport on Line 14. It is a bit tiring to drag the suitcase. We have to take the subway because we are in a hurry. The complex is average in terms of cost performance. Next time, I will definitely choose a hotel close to the subway. It is best to be able to see the subway at a glance.

RRiddyWe had problems with one of our luggage at the airport. All the receptionists who attended to me were very patient and helpful providing assistance with me. So thankful that we got our luggage delivered to us. Although it was a short stay and we kinda had our plan of going out exploring Paris disrupted,we had a pleasant stay at the hotel. Food and drinks ordered for room service were delicious. The bed and pillow were comfy. All the hotel staff were kind and courteous. Thank you.

AAnonymous UserLocation is great with a korean mart right beside the hotel and a pharmacy, bus stop and korean restaurant opposite the hotel. It is close to monoprix grocery store with great eclairs! We cannot see eiffel tower from my room, but it is fine as it is about 20 mins walk to see it. The room includes only one toilet paper roll, so be prepared to bring or buy more. It was convenient, fast and cheap to order bottled water, toilet paper, face wash, toiletries (the one at the hotel is one that can be used for hair and body so we preferred to get our own) and snacks via ubereats to the hotel. Only one lift was working when we went so it took a longer time. The studio room included pots, pans, cups, wine glass, plates, bowls, knives, cutleries, whisk, ladle and spatula. Check in was smooth but city tax to be paid at the hotel is counted by pax. Trip shows that i have to pay £30+more but it was actually £60+ as we had 2 people. Hotel is generally clean and equipped.

AAnonymous UserHotel front desk and concierge is very friendly and helpful . Staffs in the lounge bar and restaurant are very warm and friendly too. Room is very big in Paris standard. Room design is tasteful, graceful yet modern. The only thing annoyed me very much is that the housekeepers are very rude. Everything else seems fine, except the controlling pad surface is a bit dusty. I lived there for 3 nights, everyday there are someone coming to my room without knocking the door or telling me who that is. First day I was quite shocked, I thought it was my problem because I didn't turn on the 'Do not disturb' light. That's fine. The second day, I had the 'Do not disturb' light on, someone(housekeeper) still opened my door without knocking the door or telling me who that is. That was very awkward. I feel no privacy in the room as someone could just come into your room without any notice . That annoyed me very much. I mean, what is the point of 'Do not disturb' button ??!! Later I turned off the 'Do not disturb' light and turned on 'Please make up room' light. I went out of the room and saw the housekeeper in the there. I kindly asked her could she make up my room for me. She seems unhappy and told me that It is too late and she is off already . Come on, it was only 4pm, and I am going to stay there another night. I came back after one hour , saw the ' Please make up room' light still on, so I didn't expect my room was made. Luckily someone cleaned my room but didn't turned off the light. Then it was the 3rd day, I had the late check out till 3pm and I had the 'Do not disturb' light on. You know what happened? The housekeeper opened my door without any notice again while I was in the room and said DO NOT DISTURB. It was obvious light color and I am really annoyed by that. If it happened once , ok. But everyday for 3 consecutive days ???! All the other staffs are fine but I do think it lacks housekeeping training. It ruined all the privacy and trust etc. If it is only for the room, and concierge etc I like it. The housekeeping is terrible and disappointing.

Hh45him77Good location, very close to Metro stations and a quick ride away from most attractions and plenty of places to eat , Boulangeries and local shops very close by. The hotel itself is very simple and I believe they serve breakfast etc.. too and there is a fully stacked vending machine (although pricey) for anything you may need. Rooms was cleaned daily by lovely lady but shower was a bit dodgy as it struggled to stay in place but there was plenty of hot water and Air Conditioning too. Worth the price good value stay!

RRod NorthWe've stayed here a few times now - mostly as it's incredibly handy for the Eurostar and the Gare du Nord (literally across the road). The quality of the rooms has definitely improved over the last year or so, but as with all Paris hotels, it's vastly overpriced for what it is. See if you can get a room at the front for a great view of the station and the general hustle that goes on there. It quietens down at night and there is good soundproofing. Rooms at the back are quieter, but less interesting. The area around the hotel can look a bit intimidating, but we've never had any problems there, just don't be stupid. There are good eating options all around so everything you'd need is nearby. Breakfast is available at the New Hotel next door - and this has always been good, if a little difficult to find. Pay for it at the hotel. The guy on the desk this time was very friendly and fun which always makes a stay more pleasant.

AAMAKA SPARKLEVery horrible hotel for black female travellers. I stayed at the Originals with my friend for 3 nights, then another 2 nights. We pre-booked and paid for the 3 nights in FULL before arrival. Upon arrival, we were charged a deposit of €150 Euros which was explained to be a security deposit to be returned after checkout.I had no issues with that and focused on exploring Paris. There was a day my room wasn’t cleaned and I complained to a mixed lady at the hotel reception politely to inform the cleaner and she condescendingly looked at me and blurted “I’m not the cleaner”. I never asked her to be one, I only informed her so she can tell the cleaners to make a stop at my room and refill the shower gel, replace soap and toilet paper. The day I checked out, I missed my flight due to the Paris traffic and had to reschedule my flight to the next available date which was in 48 hours which meant I needs to stay in Paris for another 2 nights. I headed back to the hotel. I don’t know why but our cards refused to work despite being funded. We had some Euros cash left in cash and paid for one extra night. The next day, we asked to extend but our cards wouldn’t work. We informed them that we needed to get some sleep but would try an ATM or go to a BDC to change some Dollars. In between, the cleaner came to the room and yanked off our key card cutting off the light supply, we were barraged with calls from the reception threatening that security was going to escort us out of the room. It’s wild because most of their staff is black and yet they treated us like ****. We saw how white guests were treated and black guests and the difference was clear. Maybe they had an assumption and became discriminatory towards us. Note that 4 nights out of 5 was already paid in FULL and they had a security deposit of over 200 Euros with them. We had to abandon everything and rush to an ATM to withdraw more cash💰 to pay for the final day. Let’s not get into the fact that one of their staff ******* almost tried to be ****** with me. I got into the elevator to go and get water at the restaurant on the 8th floor, he kept looking at my boobs and made suggestive comments about wanting to spend the night with me. He also insisted on a hug. I cried from the experience of that hotel and very horrified. As a travel content creator, I will document my experience with videos when I’m back home and share YouTube videos. If you’re a Nigerian or black woman, please avoid THE ORIGINALS. I was excited to be here but it turned into a nightmare. As a business owner myself and CEO of 3 thriving companies, I saw some many lapses in their customer service. The entire place needs a staff overhaul.
