5-Star Hotels in Paris

First, the good: the aesthetic of the hotel is exceptional, especially the lobby and the bar. You receive a personalised welcome including a history of the hotel. The rooms are super quiet and dark at night and you'll for sure get a good sleep. The bad: the rooms are very small and the one we got (Rose) was a disappointment compared to the photos. The room lacked basic amenities like tea and coffee which you get in even the most low budget hotels, and when the front desk was called to ask about this, we were offered tea brought to the room, but then charged 20 euros (we got this removed from the bill of course, but this should not have happened to begin with). The service was very slow during our stay, both the check-in but also the breakfast. It felt like it was understaffed, even though at breakfast it was only around half full at the time. In general, the service level attempts to be more personal to justify its 5 star rating, but clearly more staff are needed to pull this off properly. The spa was too cold to enjoy. I would not stay again, but would consider visiting the bar to enjoy the unique atmosphere.

The location is by the Seine River, about 15 minutes walk to the Marais area, but you need to take an Uber for about 20 euros to get anywhere. The advantages are: it is very new, the room is not big but the design is very good. Service: The service of the lobby staff is average, a bit mean. I helped to send a children's clothing from Paris to Bordeaux. Later I saw that the express fee was 65 euros, and no receipt was given.

it was rather pleasant to stay in the hotel, the overall hotel environment is clean. However, there are some miscommunication with the taxi pickups that affected our trip to the airport which is unusal with a 5 star hotel. I strongly suggest to double confirm the hotel taxi prices before getting on the taxi.

Our room is tastefully furnished with high-quality fittings, creating a comfortable and elegant space to wake up in and relax after a day out. We particularly appreciated the thoughtful layout and attention to detail, which made the stay feel both practical and refined. The level of service exceeded our expectations for Paris, while remaining consistent with the high standards we associate with the Ascott group. Staff were professional, welcoming, and always willing to assist. The hotel is very conveniently located, within a short walk of shopping, the metro station, cafés, restaurants, and major sights, making it easy to explore the city. Despite its central location, the surroundings felt safe and pleasant, even in the evenings. Overall, the stay was smooth and enjoyable, with a good balance of comfort, service, and location. We would gladly stay here again on our next trip to Paris.

By far one of my favorite hotels in Paris! It starts with the location. As someone who loves waking around the city this location is super central. If one were to compare it to New York City, this would be SoHo. That describes it best. It right next to where the president resides therefore it is also very safe and around the hotel are many luxury brands and stores. Overall it feels like a really great neighborhood. It’s close to most restaurants and only max. of 6 minutes from the jardin de tulieres and therefore great museums and Eiffel Tower as well as the opera and therefore more shopping (just as 5th avenue in New York). It is also very close to Parc Monceau which is my favorite park as it is very peaceful and quiet. And also close to Champs-Elysées. The service is truly amazing and very attentive. There is a concierge who can take care of all the bookings you want to do. The louvre tickets were completely sold out and he was able to get us tickets for the day we wanted. Overall super friendly staff and always looking out to provide the best service even if it’s beyond their job. The breakfast seems expensive but the quality is great and the options are vast. The hotel is very clean which is important to me as well. Overall I had a great stay in a very spacious and beautiful room. I loved the interior design and find it very elegant and soothing.

The hospitality was genuine and thoughtful. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well maintained, providing a relaxing space for the whole family after a day of exploring Paris. Cleanliness was excellent, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt calm and welcoming. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the Champs-Élysées, with easy access to shopping, dining, and major attractions—perfect for a family trip. The spa and hotel facilities added to the experience, allowing us to unwind and enjoy quality family time in a peaceful setting. Overall, Majestic Hotel & Spa is an excellent choice for families visiting Paris, offering comfort, great service, and a prime location. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hôtel Elysia by Inwood Hotels in Paris, and it truly exceeded expectations in every way. The hotel is ideally located in the heart of the city, just a short walk from the iconic Champs-Élysées and other major attractions. Small boutique hotel with only 3 rooms per floor. We took the deluxe room and it was spacious enough to fit a cot. The room is nice designed and comfortable. The entrance is quite hidden as the logo of the hotel is small. Service, all the staff are young, chic and friendly. Just one little feedback is they hang up the phone too quickly, always a very short bye then hang up. When we arrived there was no one at the door to assist with luggage. We had three meals at the restaurant/room service. Some dishes are good but the both pasta dishes was not good.

The air conditioning was showing an error code and, despite running, provided no cooling whatsoever! We reported it to the hotel staff, but they just told us it was 'normal' and offered to give us a fan if we were too hot 🙈. Spending summer in Paris with no AC and a really thick duvet made it impossible to sleep; we didn't get a wink of sleep for two nights. The location is great and convenient for getting around, but if a good night's rest is important to you, I absolutely do not recommend this hotel.
