Amazing
KKimwillruleShota Rustavalli Boutique Hotel, Tbilisi, Georgia: The most luxe of our stay in our whirlwind, super-tiring travels through Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia, we were looking forward to well-deserved pampering here and daily warm bath tub soaks. I’m one for authentic reviews so here goes. The start of our stay was terrible. Water was cut off in this part of town - mind you, we were next to the Parliament of Georgia, how dare they. So there was no water for the day. If you have just arrived, smelling far from English Gardens and sweaty, this is the end of your world. We were given mammoth water bottles for wipe downs. Water was up the next day. It isn’t the hotel’s fault, really. However, there were more shortcomings. We had full-day trips out of city and were too exhausted to complain. Our door didn’t open or close easily, like there was a misalignment. Room smells like sewage in the evening. Shower gel ran out and housekeeping didn’t top up. This was mortifying as we had an early day trip out and housekeeping didn’t start till 7.30 am as I was informed via Whatsapp, but reception said 9 am. AC is always parked at room temperature, sometimes warm. Pool, gym and sauna are out too and unannounced on site. I’m listing the litany of crimes so management can sort this out as the poor staff get the lambasting. Gocha was very sweet and explained as much as he could with the water cut-off. Ana was our thumbs-up favorite with 360-service recovery. She arranged for a birthday cake for my son. Also a complimentary bubbly breakfast. Also so kindly extended our check out time (although there was a power cut for a good hour, we were nonetheless grateful). The great merits here are the location – this is smack right in the city, we even stood next to the protestors at Parliament of Georgia. Restaurants, bars, cafes, shopping, museums are all around, within a short walk. There’s 10% discount on dining and free Georgian wine (you’ll be drinking it like water in Georgia). It did all end on a very sweet note – thank you Ana. #eatstylishtravelstylish

XXushuodangshi-xingxingThe hotel is in a great location in the old town, a 5-minute walk from Freedom Square and a 10-minute walk from the Puppet Clock Tower. The entire street is lined with bars, gift shops, and even Chinese restaurants. The hotel rooms are relatively small, but the facilities are relatively complete.

HHan.WBMy experience at the Sole Hotel was very pleasant. The room was large and spacious, clean, provided with a hot water kettle for making coffee and tea in the room. The bathroom was also large and made safe for disabled people (there was a seat for the shower). The hot water flowed quickly, perfect for a massage. Breakfast was quite comprehensive, and the restaurant was located on the top floor with beautiful views. The only inconvenience was the hotel's location, which is quite far from the main road and the hilly location, so it would be difficult to bring large suitcases. It is recommended to take a Bolt taxi to this hotel. Hotel location also excellent nearby many tourist places at old Tbilisi town. I will stay at this hotel again another day.

NNoppasornLast night I landed late and checked in at 1.00am. When I arrived at the hotel, a tall European male staff asked me “who are you” and was very unfriendly. I didn’t want to cause any trouble so I talked to him nicely. I came with my boyfriend and my bag. Anyone who saw me would know that I was a tourist. After entering the hotel, he checked me in for more than 40 minutes and couldn’t find my booking. He behaved very badly throughout the check-in process and even charged me even though I had already paid on the Tip.com app. in the morning , at 8.55am in the morning, he opened my bedroom. It was a terrible day in Georgia. He made me feel suspicious and unsafe here. Please let the hotel handle this matter with this person. Because this man’s behavior is very unsafe for tourists. Or is it because he sees me as Asian, so he bullies me? Your hotel is a very good hotel. I don't think your hotel should be ruined by people behaving in such an unsafe way towards customers. The first night I was hoping to relax and start my Christmas break, but the first time I encountered something bad like this. I am very disappointed and sad.

AAnonymous UserA beautiful property with spacious rooms and serene view of city. Breakfast spread was delicious. Hotel staff was courteous. There is no parking facility and if you have a car, you might need to park outside on the road.

GGuest UserThis place deserves a lot of credit for doing things a bit differently. The design features and floor plan are quite special. We loved some of the details like the record player and projector with streaming access. But once you look closer it is a little rough around the edges for the price that we paid. Service was also very hit and miss. When we arrived, no one greeted us, instead staff was talking to each other and looked confused when we said we wanted to check-in. In Tbilisi, we had no problem with communicating in English, but the staff here had trouble communicating with us several times. In general, they were friendly though and took time to show us the room. When we ordered a drink through the room service from the bar downstairs, it came in a flimsy plastic cup that was only have full. Also be aware, that the window is towards the courtyard where there is a restaurant and bar that closes late and draws some pretty noisy crowds. The location is great, though, and we did enjoy our stay here. With a little more attention to detail, this would be a great place!

GGuest UserGreat experience in this cozy and wonderful hotel. We liked everything starting from interesting building of the hotel itself, spacious room and very helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast with live piano music or on the sunny terrace. We were very happy choosing this hotel, great location near by with bar/restaurants street as well as park zone and just 10 mins walking distance to Liberty square

GGuest UserThe hotel staff where friendly and polite but there was a lot of small issues. 1. Beside the fridge and kettle, there was only 1 plug, you had to unplug one to use the other. 2. In the room, a ***** of tile had become unstuck from the floor, it was unsightly and you could easily cut yourself on the rough edges if walking around the room bare foot. Management should have taken care of this. 3. Everyday, we were awoken to loud music from the room next door. That's not the hotels fault per say, except to mention, maybe the walls are paper thin or this truly was the guest from hell. 4. On our last day, the hotel appeared to run out of hot water. The size of the room is not what was shown on the picture and I can't see how the hotel gained 4 stars. Probably 3* is a fair and accurare based on our room. The Wifi was excellent and the location is close to a lot of shops and things to do nearby so I feel it has both good and points and guests shouldn't be completely put off by my niggles.

AAAshoo AliRating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) Stay Dates: July 4 – July 6 Room Type: Standard Twin Room Guests: 2 Adults We stayed at Hotel Shine Palace for 2 nights and overall had a comfortable experience. The room was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The twin beds were comfortable, and basic amenities were in place. The hotel being alcohol-free and offering private parking was a big plus for us. It's ideal for families or travelers who prefer a quiet and respectful environment. The on-site restaurant was convenient, though the menu could use a bit more variety. The check-in and check-out process was smooth. Staff were polite and responsive, though some improvement in English communication would enhance the guest experience for international travelers. Great value for the price (AED 198.86 for 2 nights), especially considering the location and overall cleanliness. Would recommend it for short stays or business travelers looking for a quiet, budget-friendly option. Suggestions: Adding more lighting in the room and offering complimentary water bottles would be a nice touch.
