"If you want a taste of Georgia, this hotel may be just the place for you.
It’s located in an atmospheric old residential neighbourhood of twisty streets and steep climbs. If you know cities like Hong Kong, Istanbul or Belgrade, you’ll be familiar with this. You can walk it easily from the Central Railway Station. Otherwise the 368 bus will bring you most of the way.
The hotel is pleasantly decorated and has a large verandah with a nice view over the city for breakfast or an evening drink. In season, they have a mangal (a traditional barbecue) and live music in the evenings.
The room was clean and comfortable. It had everything I would expect including a small fridge and TV. A kettle, tea and coffee would also be nice.
For me the highlight was breakfast. It's a buffet of homely sweet and savoury Georgian dishes made freshly by the owner, including eggs, salads and traditional small, thick pancakes with sour cream.

We stayed at Hotel Shine Palace for 2 nights and overall had a comfortable experience. The room was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The twin beds were comfortable, and basic amenities were in place.
The hotel being alcohol-free and offering private parking was a big plus for us. It's ideal for families or travelers who prefer a quiet and respectful environment. The on-site restaurant was convenient, though the menu could use a bit more variety.
The check-in and check-out process was smooth. Staff were polite and responsive, though some improvement in English communication would enhance the guest experience for international travelers.
Great value for the price (AED 198.86 for 2 nights), especially considering the location and overall cleanliness. Would recommend it for short stays or business travelers looking for a quiet, budget-friendly option.

"My stay at the Hotel Imperial House in Georgia left much to be desired. While I appreciated the helpfulness of the information desk staff who assisted me with a currency converter – that was a genuine plus – the rest of the experience was unfortunately subpar.
For two travelers, the complete absence of room service during our entire stay was a significant letdown and certainly not what one expects from a hotel. To add to this, my request to have the bed split into two single beds prior to our arrival was completely ignored. This oversight impacted our comfort and overall experience.
While the location might have its merits, the lack of essential services and unfulfilled requests make it difficult to recommend the Hotel Imperial House. I hope they take these points into consideration for future guests."

"Good location, 3 minutes walk from Ablavari station where metro and bus stops gather. There was also a mini supermarket Carrefour, a bank, and a currency exchange office nearby. It is close to the old town, so it is convenient for walking.
The staff can hardly speak English. There are many people at the reception, so it may be a little inconvenient when there is something.
The room also had a refrigerator and hot water pot, the bed was clean and comfortable, but there was no amenities, and we recommend bringing it as needed.
The hot shower took a little time to get hot, but it went out comfortably.
It is convenient to charge because there are many outlets (C type).
However, the heating effect of the air conditioner was subtly bad, and it was a little cold while it was cold in the morning and evening (and I couldn't operate it without a remote control in the first place, so I asked the staff to bring it from another room ...)"

"The homestay is very close to the Holy Trinity Church and is within walking distance. The entrance is a door, a code lock, and you need to call the homestay to open the door before you check in. The hostess who received me was not very good in English. It was OK to communicate with translation software. The decoration is old and simple, the traditional key lock is used, the refrigerator in the room is furnished, the bathroom forgot to take pictures, and the wet and dry are not separated. The room has a small balcony shared with the next door. The advantage is that it is clean and simple, the room is relatively large and cost-effective. No elevator, no breakfast, soundproofing."

GGregArshinovThis place is a must if you want to save money while still enjoying good service and clean suite. I and my friend stayed there for a week. We enjoyed Tamara and Georgi’s hospitality: they greeted us with homemade wine and offered assistance in finding our way around Tbilisi. Overall experience was pleasant. We also liked the location: it’s only 5 min walk to metro station and 7 min walk to the Holy Trinity Cathedral, an amazing piece of traditional Georgian architecture.

The hotel rooms are average. I was not given a balcony room. I was given a slightly larger room on the first night. The room was very small for the next two days. There is no elevator in the hotel.
It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the attractions. It is okay to take a taxi for 6-7 lari.
It costs more than 300 yuan per room, which is acceptable. There are no disposable items, so you need to bring your own.

Hygienic: I live in a 4-person room, and there is a toilet and bathroom in the room, so it is very clean.
Environment: On a quiet old street, the dogs on the street are very annoying, especially when they come back at night.
Service: Going at 2:30 pm, there is no one at the door, the door is closed. (They contacted through the contact information on Google after booking) The check-out card is still available.
Everything else is good, that is, there is no 24-hour front desk and the door that is always closed is uncomfortable.

Although breakfast is not provided, you can heat food for free. There is also a place to dry clothes and a refrigerator. It is within a few minutes' walk from Freedom Square and Peace Bridge, making it very convenient for shopping and dining.

- breakfast is simple but had everything we need (just missed the Georgian Bread though)
I have no cons, just some observations:
- the hotel is in an steep area (I think is not easy for elderly people), but you can always use Bolt
- 15 minutes walk from the begining of the central area
- Wifi was very unstable on cellphones, but worked perfectly on my laptop.
It is a very good place to stay in Tbilisi.

Negative points are:
1. We hanged sign ”Clean up room”, but nothing happened. The carpet is dirty. The shower missed some part.
2. Service by the reception. We arrived at 4.30 in the morning.
The receptionist was not aware what should he do, he was incompetent and unfriendly.
He made us feel as we disturbed him, so it was not a good customer service.
To summarize: Good hotel , good location but needs improvement.

FFur baby mamaEverything was great. Room was a good size. Only slight issue I had was that the room wasn’t cleaned even though it stated rooms are cleaned every 3rd day. Location is great!! AApple酱I ordered it on the same day. The transportation is very convenient and the price is very cheap in the city center. It is only two subway stops from the train station. I walked for an hour and a half without the subway in the middle of the night (the Ctrip map was out of alignment), but there was still someone at the front desk, because Ctrip confirmed with the front desk in advance that they could check in in the middle of the night, and the front desk speaks English, so communication is no problem. The room is very small and has a big bed. The sanitation is shared on the floor. The bath is also convenient. Just sleep for a while and adjust it. It is still very satisfactory. There is a foreign currency exchange place next to the downstairs. In short, it is very good and very cost-effective. If you go again in the future, you can book other rooms in their house.

There is no service. Nobody told me anything about the hotel ie. when and where breakfast are. Housekeeping is useless. Someone came into my room everyday but did nothing useful...never made the bed, never took away the garbage, never replaced the tea.The only thing she did everyday was take the towels out of the bathroom which I found annoying. Everyday after coming back and washing my hands, I had to go searching for a new towel with hands dripping. I would have much rather nobody come in but there wasn’t a do not disturb sign.
