AAnonymous UserWonderful hosts.I stayed in the attached two-story townhouse. Upstairs was a roomy bedroom with 3 big-sized single beds. Downstairs had a new bathtub/shower combo in the bathroom. and roomy kitchen had all modern amenities and served as the family room. Great outdoor space for a BBQ or just to relax with some snacks and drinks. Best part was my dog could enjoy being inside and outside with no restrictions. Just be considerate with your pet. (pay pet fee upon check-in ¥1,100) Breakfast was delicious.

DDajiI booked the Beach House zone with 2 bedrooms and 1 living room, and overall, it was a wonderful stay. The room condition was excellent—very clean, beautiful, and elegantly designed, with a stunning sea view. The facilities were well-equipped, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed. One minor issue was that at night, when closing the bathroom door, there was a wind noise, so we had to keep the bathroom door open while sleeping. Transportation between the main building and the Beach House was convenient with a golf cart service. Additional costs included a parking fee and a resort fee of 300 yen per person per night. Breakfast around 7:30 AM was quite busy, but I really liked their online queue system, which allowed us to reserve our spot virtually without waiting in front of the restaurant. The resort had three swimming pools. The first pool, located right next to the sea, was disappointing—it was very dirty, with algae at the bottom. Another issue was that the edge of this pool facing the sea was too deep; anyone under 160 cm would not be able to stand, even though it’s the side with the best sunset view. The second pool was located slightly higher up, but we didn’t use it. The third was an indoor pool, which we also didn’t try. Staff service was excellent. They spoke English and Japanese fluently, and some could even communicate in Chinese. Around the hotel, there were also quite a few good restaurants within easy reach, which was very convenient. Overall, I was very impressed with almost everything, except for the cleanliness of the swimming pool.

KKennyLExcellent hotel with immaculate service and quality. The rooms are luxurious and spacious with stunning view of the ocean. We went during December and the hotel was decorated with Christmas trees and lights, very festive vibe!

GGuest UserNeither trip.com nor the hotel informed us beforehand that there would not be cleaning included for the duration of our stay. We had to put our used towels, bathrobes and rubbish bins outside the room for them to change. It would have cost JPY 5000 for each cleaning. Should this be labelled an airbnb instead? Also, trip.com did not indicate that additional charges had to be paid again for a child until after booking (the selected room for 3 was already more expensive than the room for 2). Requests to trip.com customer service staff were abysmal and could not address the enquiry. Service was decent and most were friendly to the child. Breakfast was also decent although it was 2x japanese and 1x western (no choice). The view from the restaurant was amazing! Blue seas and floor to ceiling glass windows. Onsen and sauna were also serviceable. Good proximity to onna beach and aquarium compared to naha. Good overall except for the hidden charges (and no cleaning!) which spoilt the overall experience. Not sure if we would stay again, and we definitely won't be using trip.com in future.

ZZhuyuanyurundezhuyingAfter comparing several resorts in the central region, we finally settled on Moon Beach. I was initially worried about the hotel being a bit older, but now I have no regrets about choosing it. The breakfast selection was extensive. If you sleep in and miss breakfast, you can simply switch it for lunch instead. The airport bus stops right outside the hotel lobby, which is incredibly convenient. It would have been perfect if the weather had been a bit better. All in all, I highly recommend this place when visiting Onna Village.

LLishierThe room is large, with complete facilities, a washing machine, and a large bathtub, so you can take a bath every day. The breakfast is average, and you will get tired of it after a few days. There is a 7-11 and two Lawsons nearby, so you can buy something to eat. There is an eel rice on the right side of the door, which is delicious, but you need to make a reservation. The sea is behind, and it is very close. There is a flat-bottomed glass boat, where you can watch and feed the fish. The 120 bus is not far away, and you can go directly to Naha City and Naha Airport.

ゆーか825The view from our room was even more beautiful than I expected. The room was spacious and stylish, and the jacuzzi on the balcony was great. There was no convenience store nearby, and the shop wasn't open 24 hours, which was a bit of a problem, but other than that it was a lovely, comfortable hotel.

JJessie_1208The room was better than I'd expected. Although the decor was a bit dated, it was clean, tidy, and quite spacious. The bed was also large enough, so sleeping with our child didn't feel cramped at all. The weather wasn't great during our stay, which meant the sea wasn't very inviting, and we didn't get to use the children's play facilities on the beach. Both the outdoor and indoor pools had children's slides; they were decent but not huge, offering all the essentials. Before checking out, I informed the front desk that I needed to go to the airport, and they kindly arranged a shuttle bus for me. It took less than an hour and a half to reach the airport, and we didn't even have to walk to an outside bus stop. The shuttle was very prompt. We booked the hotel very last minute, and it was during the peak summer season (even with a typhoon, other hotels were incredibly expensive at that time!). For a price of just over 2000, including breakfast for two adults and one child, I still think it offered good value for money. As for dining, the breakfast spread was enormous; you could find almost anything you'd want. Their buffet dinner also offered excellent value. We tried the Japanese restaurant, and with the 10% discount voucher from the hotel, it was only just over 100 per person. You could even make your own sashimi bowls, and the food tasted great. Finally, there were quite a few things that incurred extra charges, which slightly detracted from the overall holiday feel.

GGuest UserWe brought our 3+ years old boy on a 2 night stay during golden week (May 2024) and opted in for a dinner buffet on the first night. It was 2200 yen per adult n foc for my boy. The spread was limited but worth all its penny as the beef was so tender and juicy so i feasted on it. All other dishes were also very good. The private beach was convenient and the water was so clear it looked like mineral water. There was a 50% discount voucher you can get from the hotel reception for the banana boat ride at the private beach and our boy enjoyed this and another ride. The young instructor who pulled us out on a jet ski for our water rides was friendly and went at a good speed for our 3 year old who was doing the water actitivties for the first time without us having to tell him to do so. He even went to the coral reefs and picked up a starfish n a sea cucumber to show our boy before returning it back to the sea. The water activites was affordable with the discount, price similar to Msia/Thailand/Indonesia resorts i have been to. I was apprehensive booking this resort after reading the reviews on the state of the hotel showing signs of aging. However, the place was well maintained. There was an unpleasant smell when i opened the door to our room but its actually just the tatami which needed some airing. After opening the windows to let in the natural breeze, all was good. Cleaniness for toilet was good too; just need to figure out the temp control for the shower. The onsite onsen was clean and easily accessible at the basement, and wld have cost us at least 1200yen for a visit to a public onsite iin naha. Totally recommend this resort for a fam outing with young children. I understand they have barrier free access rooms on the first floor of the resort so there were some families with elderly too.

TTezpezMy boyfriend and I recently stayed at the Ocean Resort PMC. The location is convenient if you have diving plans, with the diving drop-off point right next to the hotel. There's also a surf and diving shop and school below where you can ask about lessons and equipment. Although we had already booked our diving elsewhere, it was just an 8-minute drive away, and they even drove us back to the hotel, which was a bit amusing. Overall, the stay was fair, but there are a few things to note. After 11 AM, the elevator is not available, and the parking lot is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. However, there's a 24/7 convenience store just across the street, which is very handy. The ground floor has a washing machine that all guests can use. After 11 PM, you have to use the stairs, which can be a bit scary as there's no light. The hotel has a kitchen, but it lacks basic utensils. For the price, I felt like I could have picked somewhere better, but the location and amenities were decent enough for our needs.
